Competition: Professor Taranne
Upcoming
Professor Taranne
Professor Taranne
Written by Arthur Adamov, Professor Taranne tells the story of a middle-aged man arrested for indecent exposure. He protests his innocence, insisting he is the renowned Professor Taranne who has been lecturing abroad. However, he can't prove his identity, and someone else mistakes him for a colleague, Professor Ménard. He hopes his lecture notes and a letter from the university will vindicate him, but his notebook is blank and the letter accuses him of plagiarizing Ménard. The play ends with the man slowly undressing.
