Endgame
Endgame
Written by Samuel Beckett, Endgame is a one-act play about four people waiting in a post-apocalyptic wasteland for the unspecified "end." The main characters are split into co-dependent pairs: the first consisting of the blind, paralyzed, domineering Hamm and his servile companion Clov, who is unable to sit, and the second consisting of Hamm's parents, Nagg and Nell, who have no legs and live in trash cans. The two pairs reminisce, banter, and bicker while Hamm ostensibly tells a grotesque story.
