Competition: Painting - September

Context

Today's creative landscape is more fluid than ever, artists are no longer confined to a single form of expression. Instead, they can explore and combine a wide range of mediums; from digital illustration, to photography, or traditional painting, sculpture, and mixed media. This graphics competition wishes to celebrate that and offer opportunities to add more diversity to our art community by inviting participants to push beyond the norm and share how different mediums can be used.

Objective

This competition will focus on how this month’s prompt can be captured using the medium of painting. I leave you to come up with how to include the concept in this medium.

This Month's Prompt

Jedi Holocron - is an ancient, crystalline or geometric device used by the Jedi Order to store and preserve knowledge. Holocrons contain holographic recordings, teachings, historical information, and sometimes the recorded consciousness or personality of the Jedi who created them.

Rules

• Valid entries must follow the medium and prompt shared in each sub-competition
• Your site entries must be submitted in one of the following formats: jpg, png, or gif
• Note the difficulty is set to regular, so stick drawings and low effort entries will not be selected for placement
• Reminder: AI-generated entries are NOT allowed
