Competition: (Gladius) Story behind the Photo

Specifics

Members of House Gladius are to go to this page (http://dranik.deviantart.com/gallery/) and pick a single photo off the page. They are, using this photo as a guide tell a story. The story must be at least one complete paragraph in length. The story can be funny or serious but it has to tie the photo into it. At the end of their story the member is to then write a short critique of the photo they picked.
