Competition: [VBB] Creature of Thanks (Fiction)

Creature of Thanks

Your character, whether by whim or intention, has provided aid to a creature many others passed by. Unlike most bounties accepted, this was not a leaflet offering reward, yet a reward all the same is given for your efforts.

Write a story using one or more of your characters and any canon creature OR creature in the DJB database. This can be an intentional act on your character’s part or accidental, and should include a gift or act of kindness in return from the creature.

Rules

Use of AI is not allowed.
Entries must be a minimum of 500 words long.

Grading

All entries will be graded using the DB Fiction Rubric 3.0
