As a fiction based house, the one thing that can help us more then anything else is background. One that offers us both scope and scale (scope+scale=scape) is always nice, it lets our stories become more involved, deeper, and more then just guys in robes smashing people in the face. And while I know our characters usually spring fully formed from our heads, unfortunatly in universe, there's usually got to be a bit more background there.
In that spirit, our first competition is going to revolve around our character's backgrounds, and will be through the DB wiki. Any new wiki page for a character, ship, personal whatever is open for entry, as are pages that have been added to significantly beginning back as far as Monday October 15th. Notice, you're not limited to just character pages (though I would favor them if you don't have one already). Ships and other whatzits are also open, scope and scale people, scope and scale.
For an example of what I'm looking for, peruse both my character page and my ship page (which can be found via: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/wiki/index.php?title=Xander_Drax) . Who knows, once the competition is done we might even get some HQD pages up as featured articles as well, which improves our visibility all around. Two birds, one stone, that sort of thing. All entries should be the URL's of your wiki entries, and should be emailed to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] in the body of the email.
You are allowed to submit more then one page for entry, but remember this competition is all about quality, and only your best entry will be awarded. So I'd focus on one page this go round. The top three entrants will receive awards.
