Competition: Unforseen Consequences

Specifics

The Setup: A Dinaari crystal mining shuttle is overdue from Kaiburr. You've been sent out by the House Summit to investigate its status. As you approach the shuttle's last-known position you come across a small pirate corvette that seems to have hijacked the shuttle. Before you can turn back and report, the pirates take notice of you and start giving chase; before you jump to hyperspace, they get you in a tractor beam. You are on your own, and no Dinaari or Taldryan support will be coming.

Instructions: Write a two (2) to five (5) page fiction describing the events after the setup. - How did you deal with the pirates (if at all)? - How did you escape? - What happened with the Mining Crew from the shuttle?

-This is a non-humorous competition. Only serious entries will be counted. -Winner will get 4th Level Crescent.
