Competition: [Scholae Palatinae] Halloween Scene!

Specifics

Halloween is one of my favorite times of year. In order to celebrate this awesome holiday, you are to do a simple halloweeny task.

For this competition, I am asking for 200-800 words describing some scene, scenery, event, person, or fictional monsters reflecting the spirit of halloween.

Your entry may be a scary story, a depiction of ghoulish horror, a description of the best halloween costume, a comedic look at tricking or treating, whatever comes to mind. This competition is meant to be an open fiction, do with it whatever you want!
