Competition: Desolate Planet

Specifics

Write a one and a half page minimum story about your character trapped on an isolated planet, no food no water or any other provisions. While doing a scouting mission in uncharted territory, your ship is hit with asteroid debri and you have to make a crash landing on an unknown and thought-to-be deserted planet. Your ship is badly damaged and you have no way of contacting anyone for help. Does your character find any food? Any water? Do they fashion a weapon out of natural materials? Will your character live to find civilization?
