Competition: Dark Jedi and Empire - Part 1

Specifics

When you wake, you know you are no longer where you were when you slept; the Force is strong, the place filled with life... and yet, at the same time, the Force is heavily clouded, as if a poweful Dark Jedi were actively controlling it. When you stand and look out the window of the room, you see a massive and sprawling city, so far that, though you see the curve of the planet, you cannot see anything but urbanization. One word springs to your mind; Ecumenopolis, a world spanning city. No matter your thoughts, the majesty of the city catches you, as you realize where you are; Coruscant. However, it looked... strange. It was not yet vongformed.

You have been sprung back into the past, all the way to 5 BBY, when the first Death Star was still being constructed and in the height of the Empires power. Write a 600+ word fiction dealing with what you do after you are thrown into the past.
