Specifics

Something unusual was recently seen in the New Tythonian sky. Residents are nervous, and the Lightwalkers have been sent to investigate.

This competition tasks the writer to create a story based on the following picture.

That is an image of what people saw in the sky. The story should be about your character investigating the object's mysterious appearance and subsequent disappearance. The only other requirement is a 1000 word minimum. Entries will be judged based on realism, continuity, and entertainment value.
