While Prospects fight and bleed to prove themselves worthy of higher education, Plagueian Students are taught the finer points of lightsabers and their workings by their Masters or the Taskmaster. These lessons, while only a small part of their education, concern a unique point for all Force users: The focusing crystals of a lightsaber.

Write up a description on the crystal within your future lightsaber. This description is free-form; it can be a list, a story, an essay, whatever works. This crystal is not to grant special abilities or attributes; I want you to think about the gem's structure, what makes it unique, and what color of blade it generates.

Bonus points for entries that include a graphic of the crystal described. PLA Journeymen only; Knights and above need not enter.
