Specifics

The assault on Ulgo the Hutt's villa has begun! Found in the Plagueis Plot Updates, the nefarious Ulgo the Hutt, Underboss of the Grardella Syndicate, has attacked a Scholae Palatinae freighter full of trade goods for Jusadih. Intent on getting these goods and any stolen intelligence back, Plagueis has deployed the 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Regiment, and 19th Independent Company alongside Scholae's 30th Legion.

Members of Plagueis have joined the smash-and-grab attack, and must write a fiction involving their work in one part of the assault. The different areas of combat are as follows:

19th Independent Company "Forlorn Hope" - Ulgo's villa is surrounded by powerful defenses and stationary guns, all of which pose a threat to any successful attack or retreat. Against all odds, Forlorn Hope rushes in with heavy weaponry and reckless abandon to destroy all of the exterior defenses of the fortress, ensuring a Plagueian exit strategy.

9th Infantry/2nd Armored - Many hired forces and battle droids, ranging from upgraded B2 models all the way up to YVH-1 droids, form the main bulk of forces providing security for Ulgo. In addition, his villa is full of automated defenses and traps. The 9th and 2nd move to crush these main forces, ensuring that the extraction of Ulgo goes off without resistance.

30th Legion/9th Infantry Contingent - The Palatial villa contains many halls, passages, lifts and chambers; somewhere within, Ulgo the Hutt hides in his Grand Chamber, surrounded by the toughest of his entourage. The stormtroopers of the 30th and the Plagueian troopers from portions of the 9th move to fight through, capture the Hutt, and extract him alive along with any salvageable stolen goods. Ulgo's capture would provide great insight for the Regime against the Syndicate, and could give them the advantage - his survival is paramount.

Write a fiction, two pages or more, about your role in any one part of this fight. This is a Mission - only Knighted members or those Journeymen who can accompany their Masters should enter. Submit all entries according to the Ascendant Standard of Competition.
