Not worthy training activity of Sith. Far better ways to train in tracking a quarry, better places. Ships, especially warships, terrible places to hunt using the Force or tracking skills. Too many easier ways to find people, sensors, heat plumes, droids, etcetera. Worthy training for common security officer, not for Sith. However the furry one demands this and thus I will obey.

Furry one is resourceful, intelligent, fair techincal acuity, skilled in the Force, and knows his ship well. Last one is a presumption, but a fair one given the circumstances. Furry one is also small, small enough manuver easily in tighter spaces than others. Will likely use that to his advantage, but I'll use that tendancy to my advantage. Despite having authority and ability to use crew to misdirect, he'll also likely avoid heavily populated areas, especially those frequented by other Dark Jedi. Also important to know environment. Many tight places to hide on a ship, but only a finite amount of them are habitable and safe. Still lots of ground to cover and with a nimble opponent, picking the wrong place to start would be problematic. Must plan before acting otherwise failure in inevitable.

Slicing was more of a hobby for me, but it's a lot easier when you're as familiar with data system architechture and design. Not like that's what I did for a living at one point in my life. Bothan designed data systems are notably hard to slice, especially ones that have been augmented. Heard the prior commander was a skilled slicer. Skilled, but not Verpine. I also wasn't trying to get to anything incredibly secure. Just simple things, internal sensors, maintence data, diagnostic sensors. Things most people trying to hide would anticipate their hunter looking at. Some establish baselines, others are to detect deviations from those baselines. Initial search showed several maintence hatches being accessed that were out of the ordinary. Three were in the same part of the ship. Foreward section, near the power management space. Interesting. Checking other sensors. More interesting. Clever furry one, clever.
