Preface
To understand the nature of this story, I must briefly explain the character of Aidan Kincaid. Basically, Kincaid is a new personality and physical form given to DJM Shadow Taldrya (my old character) by Jac Cotelin as result of events in the Dark Crusade. Kincaid has the same rank, skills, and abilities as Shadow, but no memories. He joins the DB in 37 ABY (current time), but has the skill level of an Elder.

This story about Kincaid's induction and time in the Academy is based on these factors. Hopefully that makes things a bit more understandable, and you don't just believe some random Apprentice kicked a bunch of ass.
