He was, of course, responding to questions of his support of Josef Stalin after Hitler invaded Russia. Though viewed as an adversary, Stalin was preferable to Hitler.

Write a short story (minimum 1 page, single spaced, 12 point font, MS Word or similar program) about a time your character found themselves dealing with someone who is nominally an adversary, but became an ally: at least for a short time.
