Your entire team has arrived and is ready to face off with a massive mechanized soldier the size of a rancor. You will do whatever it takes to take it down, and you rush into combat. Luckily, Imperial Scholae Intelligence has already given you the run-down on the combat skills and strategy to defeat this boss of sorts. So on top of all your skills and talents, you are armed with that knowledge.

Details

Go through all the different skills and abilities and phases of the fight as it would progress with this mechanized boss. Much like encountering a boss in any number of video games. What strategies must your team employ to defeat this boss. Grading will be done based on ability to read through the submission, and know exactly how to ensure the fight is successful, coupled with creativity and entertainment value of the fight that’s to be.

The mechanized soldier awaits for us in the corner of a hall with 3 doors: north (our entry door), south and east.

Initially the mechanized soldier will rush towards the nearest foe and melee attack with dual blades. Periodically he will target a distant foe with a rotating laser cannon attached on the armor of his shoulder.

For this stage we will send our tanks in front to receive damage, our close combat damage dealers attack from behind. Healers and long range damage dealers spread across the room moving to avoid laser blaster. The tanks take turns to receive damage while the healers attend the wounded.

When his health drops below 50%, the mechanized soldier uses his comm device to ask for help and mercenaries enter from south and east doors in waves of 4 enemies from each door every 10 minutes. Our 2 tanks remain on boss the most powerful healer assists tanks and the weaker damage dealer keeps attacking the boss. The rest of the team deals with close combat and long range mercenaries. In the time between waves all attacks are concentrated in the boss.

When boss' health drops below 25%, he begins launching grenades with area of damage. Using telekinesis the damage dealers push the grenades towards the doors eliminating incoming mercs.
