Specifics

After settling into a new home, the Anchorage, Clan Plagueis has finally been in a successful position to send repair and exploration teams throughout their largely unknown base. It has been years that Plagueis has called the Anchorage home, but even longer that it has sat in a state of disrepair. Recently as life support was being brought online and massive holes in the hull of the station were being repaired, a team led by the Left Wing of Dread, Teylas Ramar, went in further than anyone before. Teylas, splitting from the group and heading in much further than the rest, was able to find some interesting things. However, interesting things also found him and the rest of his team, who lost contact completely with him, were forced to returned to the Dread Lord without him.

The Dread Lord has since ordered that search teams be assembled to comb through the areas of the Anchorage where Teylas might have been exploring. It's completely unknown what happened, and given the stations state of cluttered junk in the corridors, the tight spaces of some of the lower levels, and the general disrepair of the Anchorage, he could've just as easily been sucked into the vacuum of space. While retrieving Teylas is a secondary objective, the primary objective that interests the Dread Lord is if Teylas did find something, what was it that would be able to overpower the Sith? Meanwhile, the Dread Lord's Wrath, Kz'set, will be coordinating all operations from the KSD Transcendent.

Platform

"The Anchorage" will feature a variety of competitions from fiction, gaming, trivia, puzzles, graphics, and more! Competitions will release on a daily basis through two phases of the event, so check back for the latest competition.

Point System

This is a team based event (2-5 people per team) where points will be awarded to the team as well as individually. Points per event will be given based on the following placement formula:

Points Awarded = 46 - Placement Position

This system means that the 1st Place member receives 45 points while the 6th Place member receives 40 points, both to their team and individually. If you are choosing to participate without a team, then your points will still count as both with you being your own team.

Participation is important, so a penalty of 5 points will be applied to members who subscribe to a competition but do not participate, so keep this in mind when subscribing. Many competitions are time-based and cannot be subscribed to until you are prepared to participate (trivia, word games, puzzles, for example).

Award System

Individual events will award crescents appropriate to their difficulty, with increased levels should participation be high enough. The Parent Competition will be given individual placements, with 2nd Level Crescents to the top three teams. The team with the most points will also be considered the fictional winner of the Dread Lord’s challenge, but be careful, as the Dread Lord himself is also interested in what happened...
