Unit AB-5 has been assigned to Marrek Gunstinson, Marrek often refers to his droid as Hawk Eye, due to the droid's acquired ability at distinguishing even minute details from extremely long distances after having trained rigorously with Marrek to be an extremely capable Sniper and a very gifted spotter to aid Marrek in the field. The Droid has even been known to noticed things occasionally that Marrek himself might not, further aiding Marrek, as well as the rest of Apex Brigade as the Droid can warn the team of potential upcoming danger.
