Ever expanding, my gaze is ever to the future
An architect's plan that none can consider, but from chaos there is order
Arms outstretched, I turn; starlight trails slowly behind me
Millennias going by; to me, a blink of the eye
A valse as old as time; life and destruction, death and decay
Scattered civilizations scream as they race to discover and claim me,
Generations gazing up in awe at what I simply am, and seemmingly always will be:
A dream!
Finite lifeforms trying to contemplate and outsmart the eternal
Dreams of being among the stars; seeds caught on solar winds...
Concerned, they only see with a mind of half a century: an eternity of tomorrows that will never be;
Mere seconds in a grand design that spans across an inifinity
They do not understand or comprehend
I am ever expanding and ever changing,
My gaze is ever to the future.
