Specifics

Another month, another random series of events. This is slightly more complicated this time. I want the following:

1) A line poem that spells out a word of at least four letters, which then becomes the topic of a haiku of at least two verses. 2) A story of at least two pages about a made-up event in the House, which includes a giraffe, a member of the Dark Council and a surfer.
