Ess Leiy was born on the outskirts of Mos Eisley, working as a mechanic’s apprentice and spending his spare time shooting at womp rats and other vermin. When he was of age, he joined the Rebel Alliance and sharpened his marksmanship skills, becoming a sniper for them and doing reconnaissance work. After the war, he drifted around and became a mercenary, hiring his services to those that could teach him something or provide him with some cause, something to believe in once again. He had heard rumors of a colonization of New Tython and decided to try his luck as a simple man, use his intellect to help those that needed it. When he arrived, however, Ess Leiy discovered that his skills could be put to use, as he heard rumors of Sith and their slaves. Leiy hates those that abuse the dark side, knowing the history of the Sith and how they’ve treated those under them, aligning himself with the Order to try and vanquish them. He asked to take the trial, and used his superior intellect and sharp eyes to persevere, finding the Heart of the Temple, illuminating his way out and into the order.

Ess Leiy is a marksman, priding himself on his accuracy and precision. He uses his intellect and survival skills to ensure a perfect shot, occasionally refusing to take a shot if he deems it impossible for himself. He gets excited when he gets headshots, and disappointed in himself when he misses, to the point where it affects his morale.

The Only Good Enemy Is A Dead One

Ess views anyone that is against him as objects to be disposed of. He disconnects himself from them and feels nothing when they die. This ability to disconnect makes Ess appear cold at times, as he is usually disconnected while on a mission. Because of this, he will do whatever is necessary to complete his task at hand.

Ess Leiy loves riddles, often going out of his way to find a riddle for any given situation. He prides himself on his intellect, believing it is what sets him apart from most others, often alienating himself from those he deems stupid. This often leads to misunderstandings with other comrades he is working with, but he respects those who operate effectively and is more than willing to admit he is wrong.

Ess Leiy has a strange fascination with his name, asking people to call him Mr. Ess Leiy when addressing him. He often titters at it, as the word sounds like mysteriously. He will often point out the humor in his name, much to the chagrin of those around him. He does, however, have a knack for mysteriously popping up when needed.

Physical Description:
Theris is a tiny Wookiee, only 1.6 meters tall. He is covered in a light brown fur, and aside from his height is much like an ordinary Wookiee.

Personality:
Theris is a pacifist by nature, believing violence should only be used as a last resort. A very intelligent and spiritual Wookiee, he believes that since the Force connects everyone, ending a life is a horrific thing. He is also very creative, willing to try new things and take the path of least resistance.

Theris on the battlefield is quick and tends to evade attacks. Unlike other Wookiees he believes in quick reflexes using his diminished size to his advantage. Not as strong as the average Wookiee, and does not have such a major effect on the battlefield.

In terms of the Force, Theris is very selective of his powers, and has not developed them much.
He is only willing to learn mostly non aggressive powers, and nothing that could ever harm someone.

Theris uses his moderate skill in the Force in the most creative ways possible to allow him avoid fights or render his foes useless. While he is very anti-dark side he has taken a vow never to end a life, and as such is often looked down upon by the rest of the Order. His approach is not to be looked down upon however. It has kept him from the Dark Side, and allows him to have more options and skills since he tries to avoid battle. However he will always take up arms to protect peace, which allows him to fit in the the Order of the Force Ascendent.
