I cannot explain how much i hate the little bit of skin that lifts from the back of your nail and when you pull it it's really sore.. I've had a massive phobia and even nightmares of pulling on one and it tearing a small strip of skin all the way back up my arm, which is why I chose this to pepresent the effect of the Abyssal.

When Dek Rott comes close to the Abyssal, he sees a computer screen. He sees a pointing control device and a few random things strewn out around it. He sees on the view screen robes, his lightsaber, his warbanner, and his cipher pad along with dates that have no construed meaning. Upon further examination, Dek is driven to the realization that his life is made up. He is either being driven mad by the Abyssal and made to think his life is fake, or he is merely being shown the reality that Dek Rott is a piece of ever changing fiction in the mind of another domineering entity. Every single thought that Dek Rott thinks, every conclusion, and every discovery is simply the thoughts of another. Dek Rott is not anything, accept what someone else wants him to be. Dek Rott is me.

This picture shows Delak's ship getting destroyed around him powerless to do anything. This was the turning point in his life where he lost everything but learned he could use the force to survive.
