Competition: May the Fluff Be with You
Members of the Dark Brotherhood love showing off their animal companions. They say pets take after their owners, is your pet as big a Star Wars fan as you are? Do you make them wear costumes? Do you give them Star Wars theme'd chew toys? Do you imagine them as Sith Lords and film them giving motivational speeches to your Clan?
Well here's your chance to show off your furry (feathered, or scaled) friends!
Submit an image or multimedia of your pet (or someone else's you know) "Star Wars'd" up either with props, costumes, backgrounds, etc. Valid entries must have some sort of Star Wars or Brotherhood theme present.
- Entries can be photographs, traditional drawing, digital artwork, photoshop'd images of actual photographs, or even multimedia. "Darth Sheba" by Orv is a good example of traditional artwork and "Sheba's War Speech" by Wally is a good one of multimedia.
- The subject of the piece does not have to be your personal pet but the picture, video or drawing that forms the basis of the piece must be one you personally have created. So, if you wanted to draw your best friend's cat, or use an old picture of a childhood dog who passed away, the sky is the limit so long as you personally created the image.
- Any photographs used in the entries for this comp must be one you have personally taken previously or for this competition. The use of stock images for this competition is not allowed. The photography, drawing, digital graphics, editing, etc for all entries must be 100% your own work. Any images submitted from the internet as your own work will be disqualified and referred to the Chamber of Justice for plagiarism.
Entries can be in any standardized graphics or multimedia format with no restriction on resolution, length or file size. However, the competition organizer may contact you if he cannot open the file or needs the file placed somewhere where he can access it (googledocs, youtube, etc.). Failure to respond to such a request in a timely manner may result in disqualification.
Entries will be judged on creativity, humor, cuteness and complexity graded on a scale of 1-5 and weighted 25% each.
