Competition: Flowery Words and Broken Hearts

New Tython, I fear we’ll never meet again,
We were so cruelly separated by the Grand Master,
He proved the sword is mightier than the pen,
And we’ve been forced to replaster.

Over and over I recount the screams, the tormented cries,
I remember turning my back on you and fleeing,
The betrayal as I walk past a man rebelling; he dies.
Resigned, I let you burn and all without pleaing

for mercy, for forgiveness, for another chance.
You see, I left to survive, but you were taken
from us, razed so that a worse man could dance
on the graves of his doubters; saving his bacon.

You were sacrificed for our future; is that selfish?
Your life is extinguished, its valour vanquished.
But, hope remains, in the small life, the shellfish,
Despite the continuation of your life, I’m anguished.

I stood and watched as the fires came, and the blasters fired.
I walked past the dying, the scared, and those in need.
I disregarded everyone I vowed to protect; I’m tired
of feeling like this, but it is the burden of those who have leaved.

I am sorry. I am so, so sorry. We cannot see each other again.
I will remember you, and your forests,and your Seherob pie.
This time, their hateful sword has beaten our caring pen.
But, in time, our sword will overcome theirs. My love, Goodbye.

A fight upon the night

A cold night.
In the distance hear a clash.
Pondering towards the sound.
Heart races in anticipation of what is to be found.

Just at the end of the trees,
you see what you have been seeking.
Concealed behind a tree peeking.

A red saber clashes with a blue saber.
Sabers buzzing loudly as the blades press together.
The attacker with the red saber grins.
While he kicks his opponent in the shin.

Cloud of snow as his opponent rolls away from the kick.
He grasps his hilt tightly.
Facing his attacker slightly.
With a focused stare.
Prepared to make his move.

He springs from his stance.
Just like he was about to dance.
Swinging right then left.

Catching his attacker off guard.
He strikes him across the back.
The assilant yells out as he backs away.
Shouting "This is not the last you have seen of me!".
As he ran away.

With eyes wide open, and heart still racing.
You've heard about jedi but never to come upon one.
Falling in love.
A jedi you want to become.

I fight for balance in the Force between the Light and the Dark.

I fight with House Hoth and I'll stand with them against the dark abyss

Through Trial and Tribulation I will help them reach their goals.

I know no finer way to live and die but by being surrounded by my brothers and sisters in arms.

I fight for their renown and glory.

For only together will Hoth be Strong,

Only together will Hoth Succeed.

We will fight evil wherever it is lurks.

Through the fire and the flames will we push the enemy back!

During the darkest hour of the Clan, the warriors of Hoth stood firm.

During the Fall of New Tython, it was Hoth that bought the civilians time they desperately needed.

It was then we stood as one and fought the Grand Master’s Wrath.

Though we have lost so much, Hoth Remains and we shall wait.

For one Day, it will be our boots to hit the ground first,

To riposte against the Dark and bring peace to those all we lost on that fateful day.

The day that will never be forgotten

For one day, the Grand Master will pay dearly for this transgression,

He will pay for the blood of the billions on his hands.

On that glorious day Grand Master Pravus will feel the fires of retribution surround him.

On that day he finally will feel the full measure of recompense for that great day of the sorrow!

I am writing a poem
So don't judge me
Edgar is a dragon
Who wants to sell him

I am having a hard time
Keeping count
Why did I say I would do this
It's worse than writing a paper
