Strategos is the type of member that can be difficult to reward. He’s already an Elder, and so the thought of promoting him for general activity never comes up. He doesn’t much care about medals or rewards - he competes for the sheer joy of it. He seldom draws attention to himself or his accomplishments, preferring to stay quietly in the background unless he’s specifically needed. Despite that, though, he’s a powerhouse of activity.

He was last awarded a Steel Cross six months ago. Since that time, he has been more active than many Battleteams. Over the past half year, Strategos has competed in 49 competitions, earning a staggering total of 31 Crescents for placement. Four of these were Diamonds and nine Rubies, evidence of the sheer number of members he beat out to earn them. In addition to his mountain of Crescents, he has earned over 1100 Clusters - nearly all of them Clusters of Fire, two Pendants of Blood and a Legion of the Scholar. While his achievements may not be as flashy or showy as leadership or projects, he nonetheless continues to raise the bar for what an active member can accomplish. He sets an example for his fellow Qel-Dromans, one that they are constantly striving to surpass - and I mean that quite literally. He consistently tops the ongoing leaderboard of Qel-Droman Crescent earners, and our Battleteam Leaders point to him to show new members just what is possible if they put forth the effort to compete. Moreover, he was instrumental in the formation of Arcona’s newest Battleteam, Styx - it was with his assistance that Mks and Zakath created the team and recruited the membership necessary to get the Summit’s approval.

It wasn't that long ago that I was writing a recommendation for Mako Henymory for an award, but he has surpassed my expectations once more. And is due recognition appropriate for blowing me away with the level of his activity, his tenacity to see Galeres dominant, and his peer leadership to the members of his Battle Team, House, and Clan. Today, I award Mako an Anteian Cross for his efforts.

Since his last award, Mako has submitted to 18 competitions, co-organized 2 competitions, submitted 8 PvP Matches, logged 57 PvE Activities, and penned 1 Fiction Activity (614 words). He has also acquired 2 crescents (1 Cr-S, 1 Cr-E), 5 Pendants of Blood, 1 Cluster of Ice and 1220 Clusters of Fire. And he did it all in less than a month. I cannot say enough good things about his individual activity. He has an exceptional motor and is well on his way towards his next elevation. Thank you for everything, Mako.
