As with most Elders, Timeros cares little for rewards. Despite that, I think it’s important to take the time to recognize just how much he continues to contribute to the Brotherhood as a general member.

Since his last merit medal in April, Timeros has shown a consistently high level of activity. He served as a Judge in the ACC from March to August 2015, earned 13 Clusters of Ice for his ACC battles and nearly 5000 words of fiction, and garnered two Scrolls of Foundation for his work grading courses for the Shadow Academy. In addition to these accomplishments, he has participated in 25 competitions and placed in half of them, earning 12 Crescents (2 Ruby, 5 Amethyst, 3 Sapphire, 1 Emerald and 1 Topaz).

Beyond these simple statistics, he has been instrumental in helping to train and mentor a new generation of leaders in House Qel-Droma. He has consistently worked with our Battleteam Leaders - first K’tana and now Mks Ehn - to teach them how to be better leaders, how to motivate their teams, and how to juggle the many responsibilities that Arcona places on leadership of all levels.

For his consistent service to his House and Clan, I am pleased to recommend Timeros for the Steel Cross.

Though Marick was just awarded a Steel Cross for his work as Combat Master and a Dark Cross for his assistance with the ACE Piloting Initiative, as well as an Amethyst Kukri in September for his work on CS 2.0, I want to take a few minutes to talk about his personal activity as a member of House Qel-Droma.

In addition to his many duties to the Brotherhood, he still manages to find time to be one of the most active members of Arcona. Since being awarded an Emerald Dagger in February, he has competed in 51 competitions, earning 17 Crescents. In that same time, he has garnered three Pendants of Blood, 68 Clusters of Fire, 178 Clusters of Earth and 30 Clusters of Ice.

By any metric, Marick would be a highly active member. The fact that he can manage so much personal activity in addition to his job as Combat Master and work for the Voice is nothing short of astounding.

For his enviable level of activity and his ongoing dedication to House and Clan, I’m happy to recommend that Marick be awarded the Steel Cross.

Lonewolf is the rarest sort of Journeyman - the kind you don’t have to push to meet their promotion requirements, because they so eagerly and effortlessly exceed them. Though he still has a week until he’s eligible for promotion, he has completed every requirement necessary for Knight status. However, I’m not here today to talk about how deserving he is of promotion. Instead, I want to recognize those things he has done above and beyond his promotion requirements. Since his last elevation only three weeks ago, Lonewolf has participated in four competitions, garnered three crescents for competition placements and written nearly 2000 words of fiction - earning him three Clusters of Ice. All of these are above and beyond the requirements for Knight. In addition, he took it upon himself to make vital contributions to Arcona’s wiki revamp, tediously going through the dossiers and Operations history of each member of Arcona to determine at which rank they fit into our Shadesworn program. In addition to his tangible activity, his consistent presence and excellence pushes those around him to do better and strive for more. We are truly lucky to have him in House Qel-Droma, and it is my pleasure to recommend him for a Dark Cross.
