Primary reason: The position of Battle team leader is in some ways, more difficult than that of an Aedile or Quaestor. The responsibility of a BTL to guide and mentor the members of their team from their first days in the DJB to the rank of Knight is one of the most important roles in the club. Over the past two months, Kalon has shepherded the members of his team, providing weekly emails outlining their promotion requirements, and taking the extra step to help focus his team members on activities they might actually do. He also provided an example for his members to follow through his consistent level of activity. Kalon helped to produce events for his team by organizing a fiction competition and bolstered his team's activity by taking part in three additional competitions. Kalon took his role as a leader seriously, and was an absolute joy to have on my House staff.

In addition to all of his efforts as my BTL, Kalon has been an extremely active member over the course of the past year. Since his last merit award, Kalon has participated in 19 competitions. He has won five crescents, 18 clusters of fire and 9 Clusters of Ice. He has passed nine Shadow Academy courses, and written over 4800 words of fiction, splitting his efforts between competitions and Run-ons. He also spent two months as a Quaestor, and one month as a member of the Wiki Staff.

This award is a small token of my appreciation and thanks for all of his efforts, as well as my wish for his continued success as he moves into the role of Aedile for House Karness Muur.

Additional reasons: The Dark Knight is our resident "darksider", and has proven to be a force to contend with. In a month alone received over 200 clusters of fire. While he is our resident super gammer, that is not all he has done. His presence as a member of the Knights is amazing and he is a strong Force in telegram. He is a pleasure to work with offering advice and willingness to participate.

Jalen Ramz is a star. When I first met him in Tarentum, I knew he was a good dude. He was very social and interactive, and just had a good attitude. However, seeing his involvement in SWTOR, I know he's an asset to the Brotherhood. Jalen is around playing the game several hours a week, is always active in the SWTOR Telegram channel, and is a helpful player. He works to grind daily, to bring in assets to our Guild bank on the Impside, but has also been a solid presence and assistant on the Pubside, trying to take care of our Guild there. Recently, he donated more than 20M credits of his own funds, that he grinded out over many, many hours of hard work, so that the Impside could finally purchase our Guild Ship; 20M+ credits is no easy feat, and literally took him hours and hours of play and grind time to accumulate.

Jalen is an asset to our Guild and our Club, and I am happy to see him awarded. Congrats, Jalen. Thanks for all of your hard work, pally!
