Primary reason: Over the past three months, Rulvak ‘Warp’ Qurroc continues to shine as one of Clan Arcona’s most decorated, active members. I am honored to award his first ever Grand Cross of the Dark Side for his continued leadership both as a hyperactive member and Battle Team Leader of the Nighthawk.

Since his last recognition, he has participated in 57 competitions, organized 4 competitions and co-organized 3 competitions. He has submitted 21 PvP Matches, 227 PvE Activities, completed 2 Fiction Activities (779 words!) and 3 run-on posts (1553 words!). He has also passed 5 Shadow Academy courses and 1 Dark Side Degree. In addition, he has collected 24 Crescents (1 Cr-D, 6 Cr-R, 10 Cr-A, 3 Cr-S, 2 Cr-E, 2 Cr-T), 7 Pendants of Blood, 3240 Clusters of Fire, 1388 Clusters of Earth, 4 Clusters of Ice, and 1 Scroll of the Master.

Warp has also been a very diligent Battle Team Leader. He took the mantle of leadership not for personal gain, but because he wanted to make the experience in House Galeres better. He is a servant leader often putting his members needs ahead of his (yet somehow finds time to be First Overall in the GMRG in Q4 2015). He continues to assist our House in its progression, recently volunteering to participate in a BTL Training Program and nominating one of his own members for the initial class. In addition, he continues to serve as the Destiny guru for Clan Arcona (and the Brotherhood) teaching people how to level and raid end game content. Thank you, Warp.

Additional reasons: Rulvak has grown from a fledgling Gamer whom enlisted to find more people to game with, to effectively leading one of Arcona’s most active Battleteams. He has never failed to rise to the occasion however, when asked to take over Arcona Gaming Dominance he never hesitated to do so, working alongside his fellow BTL Celahir, they have helped to grow AGD to new levels, running new events and pushing members to continue growing and building activity.

On behalf of his Battleteam he continues to contribute to competitions on a personal level, while driving his team to compete in various events that meet their unique skillsets. He has identified what members he would choose to work in his stead, already helping to mold and train the next generation of leaders for Arcona.

I’ve known Warp, or Rulvak within the DB, for a few years now, and the dedication that I’ve experienced from him outside the DB has definitely not been squandered. When Nighthawk needed a new Battleteam Leader, I was surprised to have seen Warp apply and become the new Captain, but after seeing what the team has become, I am proud to be a part of the same Clan as him. His dedication to the gaming community and boosting the abilities of his fellow members is something admirable and I hope to see him pass that sort of attitude up and down the chain. Even more so, his skill in promoting run-ons and getting his crew to write together is top notch!

Warp, you’ve definitely impressed me having gotten this far in your DB career and I cannot wait to see what else you have up your sleeve for the future. Primary reason: I am honored to lift up one of my Battleteam Leaders, Celahir Erinos Arconae, for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. He serves with distinction as a leader and heart as a member of House Galeres and Clan Arcona. Today, I award him for his continued loyalty, dedication and effort.

Since his last recognition, he has organized 12 competitions, co-organized 4 competitions and participated in 51 competitions. He submitted 26 PvP Matches, 107 PvE Activities, 4 Fiction Activities, 2128 words of fiction and passed 1 Shadow Academy course. In addition, he has collected 10 Crescents (2 Cr-D, 3 Cr-A, 1 Cr-S, 4 Cr-E), 4 Pendants of Blood, 2424 Clusters of Fire, 169 Clusters of Earth, 4 Clusters of Ice and 2 Legions of the Scholar.

Last, but not least, he serves as one of the pillars of Clan Arcona and House Galeres. As a Battleteam Leader, he organizes competitions for the Battleteam, House and Clan. The way he handles his workload, relationships with members, and personal involvement is a testament to why he has served as Consul of Arcona and is a named Arconae. He serves as a mentor in the Post-DJK Program, assists in the fictional development of Galeres, created an entire sticker pack for Telegram from our “My Little Brony” competition (over 16 images), and helps his peer Battleteam Leader in his development and progression. Additionally, there is no reward for rejuvenating a family or a Battleteam… but Soulfire is full of happy, active members and I have more Erinos recently returned to activity than I know what to do with. Additional reasons: Celahir, or Irfan, we all know him as both but he has truly set the example in recent months for activity within the Club. Not only does he manage to participate individually, competing regularly, but he puts his all into what he does as can be seen by how he has won a crescent for every event he has participated in since his last award.

This mentality melds into everything Celahir does: when he offers to tackle a project he does so with gusto, and he has frequently provided information, write-ups and built tables for use in reports, emails and the like. But he also acts as a personal advisor to his Aedile and a constant voice of experience for the Galeres summit.

I will allow others to speak further of his influence throughout the Clan, but speaking on behalf of House Galeres, we would not be the same without him.

Celahir is a prime example of a member who can accomplish quite the mind-boggling amount over the course of a few months. In the last three since he received a promotion, Cel — or Irfan — has been a bastion of personal activity, both in his creation and consumption of competition content, his administration of his Battleteam, and his assistance to his summit as one of Arcona’s longtime advisors and now-title bearers. As his Quaestor will tell you, he’s (co)organized 16 competitions and participated in 51 total, while placing in a multitude of them and encouraging his clanmates to do the same. He’s been an integral part of promoting the last few Clan events in leading by this same example, and has done so while attending to his duties as Soulfire’s Battleteam leader, writing emails, a report, and several recommendations attached to members of his team and House, as well as performing extraneous and often unnoticed tasks to encourage all our members, from simple chatting to Telegram sticker creation to helping revive old members of the Clan.

His exemplary activity, and of course, his exemplary attitude, since October are reasons aplenty, I think, to congratulate Celahir for earning this Grand Cross. Well done, Arconae.
