He joined in the tumultuous days of the Dark Crusades, and I feel like much of the frenzied nature of those early months have helped define his existence within the Brotherhood. Never short of activity online, Nero is one of the few constant presences within our chat channels and email chains, and he’s constantly gaming. His near omnipresence on steam has led to the direct resurrection of at least one former member’s career in the Brotherhood as well. But in the end, Nero’s dedication to the DB is what sets him apart. Previously a stalwart Xbox supporter, Nero grew tired of not having people to play with in Star Wars Battlefront… so the crazy bastard went out and bought a PS4. He wants to game with other members of the DB that badly, and his dedication and devotion to Taldryan is just the same. Howie will expand on the details more, but since his insane purchasing decision was made, Nero has participated in over 90 gaming activities, earning nearly 900 combined gaming clusters. I've suffered a few things lately that has decreased my ability to preform my tasks. Nero has stepped up in a tremendous way, catching the loose ends. He has preformed admirably as an AED, and continues to impress me every day. I've asked him to run competitions; and he follows through; I've asked him to submit reports; and they get done. I know that no matter what I ask of him; it'll get taken care of. On top of that, he recognizes when I can't tell him to take care of something. It gets done. Since his last merit award in Taldryan, Nero has organized/co-organized 12 competitions, participated in 29, earned himself seven crescents, six Pendants of Blood, 58 Clusters of Earth, and a damn impressive 823 Clusters of Fire. I am honored to award his first ever Grand Cross of the Dark Side for his continued leadership both as a hyperactive member and Battle Team Leader of the Nighthawk. Since his last recognition, he has participated in 57 competitions, organized 4 competitions and co-organized 3 competitions. He has submitted 21 PvP Matches, 227 PvE Activities, completed 2 Fiction Activities (779 words!) and 3 run-on posts (1553 words!). He has also passed 5 Shadow Academy courses and 1 Dark Side Degree. In addition, he has collected 24 Crescents (1 Cr-D, 6 Cr-R, 10 Cr-A, 3 Cr-S, 2 Cr-E, 2 Cr-T), 7 Pendants of Blood, 3240 Clusters of Fire, 1388 Clusters of Earth, 4 Clusters of Ice, and 1 Scroll of the Master. Warp has also been a very diligent Battle Team Leader. He took the mantle of leadership not for personal gain, but because he wanted to make the experience in House Galeres better. He is a servant leader often putting his members needs ahead of his (yet somehow finds time to be First Overall in the GMRG in Q4 2015). He continues to assist our House in its progression, recently volunteering to participate in a BTL Training Program and nominating one of his own members for the initial class. When Nighthawk needed a new Battleteam Leader, I was surprised to have seen Warp apply and become the new Captain, but after seeing what the team has become, I am proud to be a part of the same Clan as him. His dedication to the gaming community and boosting the abilities of his fellow members is something admirable and I hope to see him pass that sort of attitude up and down the chain.
