Arron Saylos, since reaching Guardian 4 months ago, has been in constant communication about what he'd like to achieve in fictionally developing his character. He has been active in 5 different competitions, winning a pair of Legions of Scholar and a crescent. He even just wrapped up running a fiction topic competition for the unit creating opportunities for others. These things are easy to see, what isn't are the lengthy character fictions he's written for me to review as his Master, the wiki page he's been developing for his character that have come from many email conversations. He has achieved a lot in developing his character, so much that isn't seen, that I'd like to award him with this Dark Cross in appreciation for his accomplishments on his path towards Knighthood.

Rod is one of those one in a hundred members that comes in like, well, a wrecking ball to borrow a popular phrase (that song is in your head now). He is an absolute machine who has demolished everything put in front of him and still asks for more. Since joining Rod has completed thirty courses and three degrees in the Shadow Academy, earning recognition from the Headmaster in his report as the top exam taker for the past month with 29 exams. He has also accumulated an impressive thirty eight Clusters of Fire from gaming and already posted his first ACB contract which clocks in at 1844 words. All of this was accomplished in the mere four days since joining.
Rod has already made himself known in the clan IRC channel and his enthusiasm for all the club has to offer has become infectious. It is my honor to have Rod as a student, a member of House Qel-Droma and to present him with this small token of our gratitude. I’m sure this is the first of many and I look forward to presenting him his Knight’s saber in the near future. Keep up the amazing work!

What can be said about Rod other than the man is a beast. In the four days since he has joined the Brotherhood he has done more than most Journeymen ever do, and he shows no sign of slowing down. I could talk about the Clusters of Fire he has been racking up, or the ACB contract he has already completed, or the fact that in 4 days he has passed 29 SA courses, more than any other member has this month and got featured in the Headmaster's report. What I will say is he shows a drive that is rarely seen in Journeymen or even those who have reached Knight. Seeing his accomplishments flood my inbox day after day is quickly becoming one of my favorite things.
Rod keep up the good work and even the sky will not limit you, and I for one can’t wait to see what you will do.
