He isn’t particularly talkative or flashy. He doesn’t care much about being in the front seats. He doesn’t ask for rewards when he helps out, and I don’t think he even bothers to check on whether he places in events. But he’ll happily, and quietly, participate in an astounding number of competitions from fiction to flash games without batting an eye. It’s the sort of persistent actively that is easily and commonly missed among the Brotherhood, much to our detriment. Since his last merit medal in February of 2014, Strategos has earned 37 Clusters of Fire, 35 Clusters of Earth, 3 Legions of the Scholar, and a massive 28 Crescents, 3 of them Diamond. In addition to this, Strategos has been available to offer advice when needed and to help Qel-Droma when it found itself Quaestor-less. He eschews the more traditional PvP gaming and fiction for which the Brotherhood is often known, but frequently dominates in flash games, puzzles, and other unusual competitions (such as Caption contests and the recent March Madness Bracket). Over the past six months, Alaris has earned seven Crescents, a Silver Nova, and two Scrolls of Foundation for his work with the Shadow Academy.
