<p>Since the day I have joined the Brotherhood and at least Taldryan there have always one Leader besides Shazâair Taldrya, Krath Epis Vodo Biask Taldrya.
Vodo Biask Taldrya was the current Aedile of House Ektrosis when I joined the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and the first Person I have made contact with, giving me advices on how life works within the Brotherhood. From that point on he was the person I have talked most with when I got problems or needed advice until he stepped up to the Position as Aedile of Taldryan.
During the time as Consul of Clan Taldryan he managed to keep the members active with various Competitions like his âWho got the skillzâ competition (a 4-week long competition where he gave us tasks to fulfil in different fields of actions like connecting dots in the Clan-Wiki or flash-gaming) and lead the Clan through the last Rite of Supremacy as well as the AWOL-check this summer together with the rest of the Clan/House Summit.
After the downgrading of the Clans to Houses he stepped down from Consul of Clan Taldryan to the position of Aedile of House Taldryan and just now stepped down from the Summit to a regular member giving a âfresh-bloodâ the chance to make his place as leader of this great house.
Overall I can only tell that Krath Epis Vodo Biask Tadrya is one of the greatest Persons I have ever met within the Brotherhood. And I hope he will stay within the House for as long as possible as a member who can advice all future leaders if there is a need for it. --- DJK Rian Aslar, Tetrarch in Taldryan --- <br>
Every member of Taldryan, new and old, has met Vodo at some point. He's a hard guy to miss with all the work he does, and he's one of the hardest workers Taldryan has ever seen. He has shown tremendous loyalty to both Taldryan, and his duties as a whole these past six years for the Brotherhood. When I first joined Tal three years ago, Vodo was my Aedile. He served in leadership almost constantly up until his recent retirement. Three years? That's a long time to lead. He got me started, and made sure I was more then welcome in the House. While I wasn't the... best, member back then, I appreciated every little thing he did for me. When I left, he continued to be friendly when others weren't. I made some pretty bad choices in the Brotherhood, but instead of putting me down Vodo was always kind. Sincere. When I came back to Tal the first time (yeah yeah. :P) and took on Battle Team Leader of Hex, Vodo returned to mentoring me on what to do, what not to do, how to handle situations, what was expected of me. Everything vital that a leader should know. But it wasn't just me that he mentored, no. Instead, he also helped along other members of his House, and Clan as a whole (while we were a Clan, that is); Sidarace, Tirano, Zasati, and even Lokasena. Hell, he even served on the Shadow Academy staff for at least a year. Vodo had an impact on us all, and helped shape the members we are today. While some of us aren't around any longer, those that remain are great members. When I came back... Again... Almost a year ago, Vodo was there again. This time serving as Consul. It didn't surprise me in the least. When I took on Aedile of Ektrosis - a position he himself held when I first joined - he was one of two members that I looked up to for advice on everything leadership, and he was more then happy to help me. We worked closely on a couple projects, including the re-haul of the Kr'Tal System; Taldryan's Home. I talk to him every time I see him/have the chance. If anyone should be considered my 'master' within the Dark Brotherhood, it's Vodo. I wouldn't have made it these three long years without him. Therefore, it is my greatest privilege to be one of the several members recommending Vodo Biask Taldrya for a Ruby Scepter. Congratulations, Vodo. You've earned it buddy. --- SW Zaren Morgoth --- <br>
Vodo rocks. thrust --- <3 Shad --- <br>
Vodo joined Clan Taldryan a few months before I took over as Consul. At the time, Taldryan was in a major slump, and it was going to be my challenge to boost the Clan back to it's former self. Luckily, I was surrounded by active, motivated, and talented members who were eager to help the Clan in any way they could. Vodo was one of those members. Over his years in Clan Taldryan, he has been a constant active force, first seeking to learn, then to participate, and finally to lead. During his time in Taldyran, Vodo has successfully served as Tetrarch, Aedile, Quaestor, Proconsul, and Consul - literally every step of the leadership ladder, a feat few people can match. During his time as a leader, he instructed countless new and existing members in the ways of the Brotherhood and Clan Taldryan. He lead the Clan successfully through both major competitions and normal day-to-day activities, always seeking to educate and motivate his members. The Ruby Scepter is given to Brotherhood members who have demonstrated excellent abilities as a mentor - Vodo has spent years mentoring innumerable members of Clan Taldryan as he moved through it's leadership ranks. I can think of no one who deserves this award more than Vodo. --- JST Kir Katarn --- <br>
Vodo was brought onto the Clan Summit by myself after having served with distinction in Ektrosis. I needed someone who knew the Clan and would be able to work with everyone, as I knew I would not be in the position for any extended period of time. As such, he was a natural selection to take on the Consulship during what would become a trying time in both the Clan and the DB as a whole. Although things could have completely fallen apart, Vodo managed to keep the Clan together and push everyone to within a hairs-breadth of claiming the last RoS after we had been written off as past our prime. On top of that he continued to be a figure to look up to, an example of the changing culture that tried to be inclusive, rather than exclusive. The job of Consul is in many ways a thankless one, but Vodo did it with aplomb, the Clan (and now House) still going strong and a vital part of the DB. He has continued with Taldryan legacy of excellence and has passed on the baton to a younger generation that he has helped mold into productive members of the club. Congratulations Vodo, and well deserved
--- DJM Halcyon Taldrya, Voice of the Brotherhood --- <br>
If there were to be one member that embodies what Taldryan stands for in its ethic of how hard work and respect always come first, how building relationships with members in Taldryan and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood should be first nature, how mentoring a younger generation in the ways of this same ethic and training future leaders should be your goal no matter how much work it takes, that member would be embodied wholly by Vodo Biask Taldrya. Rarely are there members who serve from the ground up like Vodo has; starting at Battleteam Leader followed by Aedile (which he did twice), Quaestor all in House Ektrosis, and then branching out from the House Summit into the Clan Summit as Proconsul and finally serving as Consul for nigh-a full year.
All of these positions spanning the amount of over three-years, only a short time in between these positions did he ever take a break from leading. Vodo took the idea of leading %100 serious, never letting something slow down his pace, and there was rarely a time when I saw him slow down from his laborious duties â duties which he considered normal and completely unquestionable. These duties are compromised of in his three years of service; running competitions for his unit, reports ranging from 2-3 a month, announcements to his House/Clan in between reports, running Run-Ons, planning and allowing members to work on projects for their promotion requirements, working with members on their promotion requirements, keeping morale in his Unit on the high, mentoring members to eventually be in the shoes he was in, working on projects for the House/Clanâs back-stories as well as his own character fiction in which he aided members in developing their own characters. The list goes on, and were it not for formalities sake I would elaborate even further.
This member has served as not just a leader, but a personal mentor to many in Taldryan, and that same mentorship reaching out to others in various units. Within Talâs grasp Vodo took many members under his wing, ranging from Zaren Morgoth (Anubis), to Tirano Yamayura, and Myself. Each of the members stated have held positions in leadership and have given their own spin on mentor-ship to other members. On a personal note, I myself was trained in the ways of REAL Leadership by none other than Mr. Biask. Were it not for his strict and well thought out training on how to lead by example and with integrity, I would not be where I am now: Leading Taldryan as he has done himself.
Average Merit medals are not so hard to come by with a little push and some gumption to get things done, but a Ruby Scepter is another matter. This awards does not come into the hands of those who have not slaved effortlessly for an extended amount of time and through many eras of slow/busy activity. Nor is it even considered plausible to be given to a member of average or even above-average standard in leadership and what it truly means to be the leader of a Clan/House by being that Mentor and Guide that is so lacking in most leaders today. If I had one inchon of doubt that Vodo was opposite of those things I just mentioned, then I would not be writing this recommendation right now. Having served for a small time myself and now in the seat of Quaestor of Taldryan, I have an understanding of what it truly takes to do what Vodo did so effortlessly and flawlessly for so long.
It is not enough to say that Vodo was a great leader or a great mentor or a great friend; as he was and is more than that. He truly is one of the few deserving of the title as a Son of Taldrya, along with the greats: Duga, Kir, Jac and Alanna. Vodo shares something with the members just mentioned and that is the need for quality and excellence in everything he does, whether it be personal or at a large scale for the DB. Stepping down from Consul showed his maturity in realizing his time was not to continue leading at the forefront, rather to take a seat back and let others take over where he had so loved to be.
I would issue for Vodo to take a step back and view the vast and imoveable amount he has done for Taldryan, and ultimately the Dark Jedi Brotherhood; but that is not Vodo, nor will it ever be. He saw mentoring and passing on the torch from the day he stepped up into leadership as part of his job â which should be the inital attitude EVERY leader should take. Anyone striving to have an impact on their surrounding and the DB should look no further than Vodo Biask Taldrya, Krath Epis and standing Son of Taldrya, former Consul, Proconsul, Quaestor, Aedile, Battleteam Leader, Eclectic Pedagogue, holder of 3 Seals of Loyalty, and friend to tons within the DB, mentor to dozens. If Vodo is not deserving of this Ruby Scepter, then let myself and everyone else who wrote up these recommendations throw in the towel as the worst judge of character EVER.
Vodo, you're truly an inspiration, and I'm glad to say I was around for the Rein of Vodo. I hope this is a good enough award for your efforts, it will be near impossible to put a dent into what you've accomplished, lord only knows how much you've really done. I only hope to aspire to the amount you have done in the past 3 years.
--- Quaestor of Taldryan, Shazâair Taldrya, 9193</p>

What can I say about Manji that many haven't already passed over? During my time in the Brotherhood, Manji had been my Consul and had done an excellent job keeping the Clan in excellent shape and a friendly nurturing environment for any new members. Manji's performance and dedication to the Clan ran rampant during his tenure as he repeatedly released competitions and ensure the activity within his Clan even while trying to compete his Masters. His dedication even proved to shock me when he put all his focus, time and efforts into ensuring Naga Sadow performed admirably in the Spoils of War, going so far as to lead our Clan to a Third Place victory in the Brotherhood. For his almost insane amount of dedication while completing his Masters, excellent duty as a Consul and leader to the people of Clan Naga Sadow and his exceptional efforts at helping the Clan achieve Third in the Rite of Supremacy; I recommend Manji to receive this merit. - Methyas Arcturi L'eonheart
When asked to write this recce I was a bit hesitant, not because I didn't think he didn't deserve this award but because I didn't know what to say. Manji is a wonderful person and a fabulous leader. He worked hard as Consul of Clan Naga Sadow to keep the clan engaged through whatever it took. A few months back he took the time to look over my writing and give me tips to improve on. There aren't many people who are willing to do that and to do so quickly. I fully support Manji getting this award, he's earned it. He's a superb person and a good friend. -Teu Veld
Manji is by far one of my favorite members of the Brotherhood. He has done an incredible amount of work - quality work that has made everything he has led noticeably better. For a long time he has been a part of the Shadow Academy, always grading membersâ quizzes quickly and writing interesting courses. On top of that, he was an amazing Consul to Naga Sadow for a long time. He is a fair person, always looking to help other people any way he can. Every time I came up to him with a problem or question he always focused on helping me immediately. When it came to trying to make the clan better, Manji always seeked out input from as many members as he could, always listened to their ideas and concerns, and was able to put them all together cohesively and make the clan better than before. One can only hope become half of what Manji is, and that is why I believe he is deserving of a Ruby Scepter. For all that he has done and continues to do, he deserves the award. - Ekeia Iclo, P:DGM
Manji.. The man behind everything in CNS, a lot of the ACC, and the Shadow Academy's History program. I can't begin to explain how much of a mentor he has been to me personally. When Zaxen stepped down as Aedile of HMR, I was appointed to become his successor. More than likely every day I would ask Manji, "Am I doing this right? Should I be doing it this way?" His answers were always, "You're doing just fine." When I stepped into the Quaestor position, Manji had told me that he was monitoring me, making sure things where done right. And he did just that. Up until he stepped down as Consul, I was always asking him about different ways of doing things, and without a doubt in his mind he would support me or teach me how to do something. But putting that all aside, Manji has been a great leader to us all. He earned the respect of the members of the clan, and over the past 10 months made a serious push to make CNS the awesomeness that it is. He saw to it that the CNS website would go through a serious change, where it would be a holocron of information that different levels of access would be given different ranks. He pushed his clan through the Rite of Supremacy, helping us earn 3rd place in all the clans, something that hadn't happen in over a year. And despite all of this, he was a major addition to the Shadow Academy, creating and editing the different history courses that are there. He pushed the DB History course, and penned the DB History course part 2 not too long ago. He constantly would be grading each test that would be sent to him, and I only saw a fraction of the amount of tests he graded because it was one house out of about 15 houses, and even then it was a lot. On top of all of that, he was an ACC operator, always getting challenges for training matches, or qualification matches, or just regular combat center matches against anyone and everyone in the DB. I can't fathom how many training and qualifying matches he had to write, and how many matches he had to grade and teach new members the ways of the ACC. With this recommendation I fully support Manji, my Consul, my mentor, and above all else my friend, to earn a Ruby Scepter. Congrats Manji! ~Fremoc Pepoi, M:FIST
Manji Keibatsu Sadow was one of the first people I met in the Brotherhood five years ago when he was a Quaestor and Envoy. Since then I have always known him as a friendly helpful member and leader who has always had a natural ability to get on with other members with a calm, patient and authoritative manner, a passion for the Brotherhood's activities and a commitment to the future of the Brotherhood by helping new members become future leaders. I think for that he deserves the Ruby Sceptre, as well as working in leadership positions around developing new members and activities in this Clan for them he has worked in the Sadow Academy for a considerable length of time and has also had many of his past students go onto leadership positions in the Clan and in the wider Brotherhood. He is one of the Brotherhood's recognizable mentor's and is fully deserving of a Ruby Sceptre. - Malisane Sadow, RM of HNS
Manji has done more than the lion's share (no pun intended) of work required to garner a Ruby Scepter. In what will surely be remembered as one of the most interesting periods of HNS' history, Manji ably stepped up to the leadership plate at a time when our beloved House experienced a mass exodus of arguably some of the most influential members our House had, and pulled us from the brink of mediocrity. His clear head and infectious energy spurred us to a respectable third place finish in the Spoils of War Vendetta, and he inspired not only myself, but other relatively new members to seek leadership roles within the House, so as to emulate his shining example as Consul. Without members cut from the same cloth as he, this Club would surely falter at the first sign of difficulty. Manji, thank you for quickening not only the younger members who were fortunate enough to witness your reign, but me as well: without your support, I for one may not have been long for both the Club and House. Thank you for reminding me what it is to be a leader, and for what we all should be here for. I hope that you see this award for what it is supposed to represent: our undying thanks, which, in my estimation, will never be enough for all that you have done for us, your brethren. Congratulations, Nekura-sama! - Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow, AED of HNS
Manji. If you don't know his name in the DB, you must be living under a rock. My first Master... Manji is one of those superstars within the DB. Although he works hard across the board, he never toots his own horn. Humility is just one of his many great aspects. His service in the Brotherhood extends across many areas. His work in the ACC is long-standing as an Operator, and enormous in scope if you consider it over time. Just how many battles has he fought in that trained people? Or judged? Or fought because someone challenged him in order to better their own skills? You'd have a hard time counting them all. I couldn't do it. His service in the SA is often overlooked- and it shouldn't be. Besides working grading many tests, his overhaul of the DB history course and creation of the DB History II is good service. His service as Consul was impeccable, leading his Clan to a hard won and closely fought 3rd. His leadership in helping our club members grow in every area he touches has (and continues to be) a huge boon to our entire group. The Ruby Scepter is for service across the entire DB. Manji has certainly done just that, quietly, for a long time. It is time his efforts were recognized officially. I fully support Manji being awarded the Ruby Scepter. ~Macron Sadow, HNS Quaestor
I was Manji's right hand man for over six months. A time of my DB career I wish I could have explored longer. The RoS was a huge victory for Naga Sadow, though I'll let my former clansmen above speak for his clan work. For over a year, Manji has been the Professor of General History in the Shadow Academy, and one of my closest advisers. Professors often times get over looked for their jobs of grading, but I would like to bring some attention to one of my top Professors. A Professor doesn't just look at an answer sheet and mindlessly grade exam after exam (at least I train them not to). But rather an individual who is dedicated to excellence and knowledge when training our members. Manji came to me a year ago, wanting to write the DB History course. A History major (going for his Masters) in real life, Manji wasn't hard to place in the position. On top of grading his usual 4 exams, he took it upon himself to delve into the rich history of our club and bring it to the Academy when new vigor. Just recently, he penned the DB History 2 course, which is slated for release later this summer. On top of all of this, he temporarily took over grading for all of the Clan History exams, bringing his total number of exams under his control to almost 10. For being one of my greatest friends, and for being a great asset to the Shadow Academy, I'm recommending that this Ruby Scepter be awarded to Manji Keibatsu Sadow. Congratulations. ~Taigikori Aybara Dupar; Headmaster of the Brotherhood

What does one give a member of the Brotherhood who already has its highest honor? In the case of Sarin, the quintessential collector, find something he does not have and give him that. In that instance, we of Revan would like to show the Grand Master our appreciation in the form of the Ruby Scepter.
Not long ago when we heard about the return of Independent Houses, Sarin and I had the idea to carve a niche into the Brotherhood based on a slightly different philosophy and methodology. We had the extravagant notion that if we created an environment within the club where mature, working professionals, students and others could collect to express themselves and share a good time, we would have something special on our hands.
At this point, that idea is a reality and an obviously successful one. For that, we of Revan are very grateful for our own private corner of the Brotherhood to call home. Though Revan's success has been dependent upon many, we are able to single Sarin out among them and show him our specific thanks for the work and ideas he has contributed to this endeavor.
It may easily be said that without Sarin, there would be no Revan. Going it alone, if I even would have tried, I would have sorely missed the motivation, inspiration, and companionship Sarin brought to the table. And this is nothing new. Sarin has always brought these qualities and more to every table at which I have had the pleasure of his company. Revan would undoubtedly be different, if extant at all, and not as fine a place as it is now were it not for him.
Over the last 11 months Sarin has earned 7 Seals of Unity, 2 Seals of Loyalty, 2 Scrolls of Foundation, Crescent with Ruby Star, and the Golden Lightsaber. He has made time to help me found Revan, serve as its Aedile, act as a Docent of the Shadow Academy and as a member of the Wiki staff.
During the recent Rite of Supremacy Sarin made the time to submit to nearly every event including Round 1's Fiction and Poetry, Round 2's Fiction and Graphics, and the Finals Fiction and Graphics events. He helped us to win both rounds involving the ACC which lifted us past our opponents. He also placed 4th in Round 1's Fiction event helping us to win that event.
In Revan we talk a good deal about Sacrifice. We believe it is how one achieves anything worthy of doing. Sarin has set this example of Sacrifice time and again, not only for Revan, but the entire Brotherhood.
This small honor is the least we can do.
Raken, Independent House Revan
Sarin is the consummate leader. His ability to inspire others, and me personally, has been nothing short of unwavering. Look at Revan. Sarin and Raken have created a haven for those looking for something different. The sheer amount of energy needed to craft a thoughtful, focused vision, and then realize it through the charter, application, and implementation of Revan is a testament to Sarin's ability to attract, guide, and lead others.
Look to Revan's first public test, the Rite of Supremacy. At the time of this writing, Revan has advanced to the finals, knocking off two established clans and so far meeting its final competitor blow for blow. While this may seem surprising to those on the outside looking in, let me lend some context: I knew Sarin when he was the commander of Avenger Squadron in the Emperor's Hammer. He led the squadron to compete in a fleet-level event, and win, besting superior numbers with quality.
Sarin showed the quintessence of sacrifice during the event, asking no more from his pilots than what he did himself. And really, this trait has transfered along with Sarin into the Dark Brotherhood, where his stints as GM and now in Revan are a model for commitment and quality. Sarin, never one to follow, has led headfirst into positive territory, and most importantly, caused others to want to be around him.
Tek Cicero Dantes
Esteemed members of the Brotherhood;
When my Quaestor Raken had asked me to say a few words concerning the possibility of awarding him a Ruby Scepter, my initial words were to be, â[CENSORED] YEAH!â
However, as from the gut and emotional a response as that is, I know there must be a logical reasoning behind this award.
According to the standards set forth for this award, it is said that the persons that have been given this high honor are those that are counted on within the Brotherhood as a great mentor, whose work touches and influences a wide range of others. These persons have contributed much in the areas of instruction, invention, and mentorship.
Grand Master Sarin is guilty on all these counts. =) I can speak on these actions both as an observer and as a person who has benefitted from his wise mentorship. As an observer, I have seen the tasks and the guidance that he had given his prior Student, the now DJK Anarya Elvendar. The Knight had challenges when it came to writing, but with the patience of a master teacher, Sarin had markedly improved her writing, making her a stronger member in the Brotherhood as a result. It was such good guidance that she was recommended for and approved to become a DJK, Revanâs first in their short history.
Personally, Sarin has been of great inspiration and help to me. We had often discussed what I can do to further my DJB âcareerâ, often inspiring me to push myself to help out the House and Brotherhood. Iâm not ashamed to admit that Sarin to me is a role model, and although he doesnât have a big âbarkâ, his dedication to ignore the guano and concentrate on whatâs truly important in the Brotherhood, and passing those ideals down to others is a true mark of a mentor. Through Sarinâs quiet advice, I personally had taken the big step from Epis to Pontifex, a feat that I will forever be grateful to him for. Furthermore, he has not stopped there, as he already has plans for what to do next after our current RoS is complete and what we can do to make Revan and the Brotherhood in general stronger and more awesome. By doing so, he is also working with me to take the next leap, from Pontifex to Dark Adept, which is one of my goals.
In all, the name âSarinâ conjures up a lot of memories and feelings. A true leader, a gifted and master mentor, I can think of few that have been as effective in these requirements as this member. Thereby I humbly support the awarding of a Ruby Scepter to our fine leader, Grand Master Sarin.
To Sarin, thanks for all the smacks upside the head to motive my lazy butt. =)
KPN Lambow
What can you really say about Sarin that hasn't been said before? Through my entire career in the brotherhood Sarin has been here always at the forefront of the brotherhood being an amazing guide and leader in the club. All you have to do is take a glance at the History of the Brotherhood and you will see Sarin's hand in things. However I would like to say a few things about the recent work he has done within the new Independent House Revan.
It started as something unique for the modern Brotherhood, an independent house, it could have been a disaster a clusterfuck if you will, but there were several people who would not let that happen. One of them happened to be Sarin. Knowing that one of the most prestigious and decorated members of the club was on the side of the House gave it instant credibility and standing. His experiance and knowledge, has given me personally a great desire to continue to preform and not let myself get overwhelmed or burnt out. Knowing that if something happens I have a solid member like Sarin to fall back on gives me a great deal of comfort.
In all honesty there really aren't words to describe Sarin, he has been a long term fixture in the club, and hopefully will continue to be for a long time yet. Congrats Sarin, and thank you for your selfless devotion to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.
~CBO
I'm not much for words these days, but when asked if I had any comments concerning an award for Sarin, I couldn't resist. My interaction with the Grand Master has been limited, but poignant, and he has a number of remarkable traits which I could take the time to cover, but I won't. For me, and the purposes of the award, only a few need to be noted. The Ruby Scepter text includes these points; "Their work will have touched a wide range of others within the Dark Brotherhood as they will have contributed significantly in the areas of instruction, invention and mentorship.".
Concerning his traits specific to the awarding of a Ruby Scepter, Sarin has a core trait which exists as an undertone to the three mentioned - he knows people. To be a successful instructor, one has to know their student. To be successful in the areas of invention, one must know what their people want, don't want and don't know they want. To be a successful mentor, one must be able to gain trust and know their people enough to be able to influence them. Sarin is all of these things - and excels in all of those traits.
To keep this current, lets look at Revan and their recent success in the Rite of Supremacy. As an instructor, Sarin was a key-player in the strategy of IHR. His experiences in the echelon of the DB, especially where Vendettas are concerned, taught IHR the mechanics behind events and how they might pan out when compared to other Clans. This was an invaluable resource to have for the young House and played a large part, I believe, in how IHR approached the RoS. Invention.
While I may look at this a bit differently, sociologically, Sarin's 'invention' came to fruition in the re-invention of himself. While it could have been very easy for him to go 'GM' on the House - he submitted to interacting with the House as any member. He shared his desires for the House and approached it as any other hopeful - knocking himself down to 'our level' and becoming 'one of the boys'. This had a huge effect on the younger members of the House because it instantly made him approachable and brought in a 'fearless' nature to the House. People could do the best they could and knew that, even if their best wasn't that great, there'd be no GM to berate them but only support their efforts. This also solidified his ability to mentor, without question.
Through each phase of the competition Sarin was there to guide, influence and advise. He chided members who were disappointed by outcomes, diplomatically and influentially turned IHR to the same mind of honor, breaking the clan-esque habit of complaining and screaming 'bias!'. He responded to requests for help and offered it across the board. As for an impact on the Brotherhood as a whole and the scope of this particular snap-shot? Sarin was pivotal in IHR's victory over all the other clans of the Brotherhood -- if that isn't a large scope effect, I don't know what is. While this is my snap-shot of a single moment in time, it is indicative of his career in the DB, and serves to show his worthiness for such an award. Thanks Sarin.

Praetor to the Headmaster. Proconsul. Consul. Headmaster. Stepped down from Headmaster to lead his clan again, as Consul. More than 10 years in the Brotherhood.
Below is a list compiled by members of Tarentum, which I fullheartedly support. Anshar left his position as Headmaster when Bloodfyre stepped down as Consul, because there was no-one to replace him. That is not a decision to be made lightly, but Anshar did it. Since then, he did his best to keep the clan running to the best of his abilities, and I applaud him for that. He kept the clan running when there was no other way to do it, which is something I admire. He deserves some recognition.
Korras, Master at Arms.
Some of Ansharâs achievements:
-Anshar has provided two years of administrative leadership for Clan Tarentum.
-He has run many exciting and wonderfully written storyarcs over the years:
-Settling Home for which there were many competitions and an RO.
-To the Core for which there were also comps and an RO.
-Of the Past also many competitions and an RO.
-Broken which had many gaming competitions and an RO.
-He has spent time working with the clanâs newer members to get them up to speed and integrated into the clan.
-He has revamped the Clanâs fiction while making sure not to exclude other clan members. Said fiction includes:
-Physical geography of the Yridia System.
-Clan powers.
-Clan system of aristocracy and land grants.
-Clan military.
-Although Tarentum lost the GJW any event in which Anshar participated we scored highly, particularly our RO. Due to his leadership the war was an enjoyable and rewarding experience for those who chose to participate.
-He used the clan forums and IRC to effectively and continually keep in contact with the members of his clan as well as utilize their input in the day to day administration of Tarentum.
Adien:
Anshar has been an inspiration to both Tarentum and the DB as a whole! He is been a example to me since my joining the DB as well as everyone in this club that has also been influenced by him. He excels at keeping members going and is there to help whenever possible. His work on the Obsidian blade completion was astonishing He will be sorely missed as Consul of Tarentum, and I am grateful to have met such an outstanding person and hope he is around for a long time to come, Thank You Anshar!

Ronovi:
Working with Anshar has been a very refreshing experience. Too often do we hear of leaders who will ignore others' advice and contributions, instead choosing to inflate his own ego and parade his ideas as better than anyone else's. These leaders are notorious for their arrogance, stubbornness, and unwillingness to work as a manager type rather than a dictator type - which is the worst kind of leader to work with, or more accurately, attempt to work with. Not only is Anshar a leader who can take advice, but he also knows when and how to use it, making Tarentum a more interactive and involving clan.
Appointed Consul in 2007, Anshar took on the position as a favor from Sarin, stepping down as Headmaster in order to help out a clan that was in need of a strong, charismatic leader. Almost two years later, he has proven that his decision was not in vain. He has been able to rejuvenate the clan in terms of RO writing, which was a weakness of the clan as many ROs were often left unfinished and were subsequently scrapped. His outlining of storylines has helped the clan greatly in achieving a direction in its fiction and its motives, and as such, more members have become more involved in Tarentum's activities which has helped greatly in making the clan less of a "retirement home." Anshar, subsequently, knows how to properly recognize and reward people - he is not stingy with offering gratitude, though like me and others, he is a strong believer that medals are not everything. His emphasis on hard work to ascend in the Brotherhood, not favoritism or nepotism, has forced people to get their heads in the game, which is always good.
For a guy who first took on the job as a favor, Anshar has left a lasting impression on the clan. Despite its poor performance in the ninth GJW, he pressed on, even taking some of the blame for our standings. He may be humble, but Anshar is a natural-born leader and a hard worker. His contributions to three major clan-wide competitions and to the recent GJW have added much to the clan's structure and fiction, and he readily accepts advice from other leaders such as myself. He has held the position much longer than any of us ever imagined, and, like any good leader, he knew when he had to step down. As he continues his work as Praetor to the MAA and as a member of Tarentum, I can only thank him for all his work. He has helped me personally as well as others to become strong leaders, and in short, he has proven to be one of the best mentors and contributors that the Brotherhood has to offer. I truly feel that he deserves this award for his years of dedication. Thanks, Anshar. We owe you one.

Frosty:
Anshar is a great guy and I'd love to see him get some rewards but I've only been recently made QUA and it was at that time that Anshar's home state got flooded and he's life started to get busy. So I can't think I can add something to what has already been written from a Quaestor point of view, all I can do is write from a member of Tarentum's position.
Starting with GJW... Yeah, we failed at that one but I don't think it was Anshar's fault, he was constantly active as a leader and he pushed as much as he could but you can't mold anything if the clay is bad. I myself tried to compete in as many gaming competition I could possibly participate in, but I as I discovered with each GJW, the efforts that are put in this kind of vendettas grow more and more and it's insane if you think about it. Some people can't be around 24/7 to game for a fictional club, and maybe that's what happening in Tarentum. Anshar's creed was always about real life coming first and more then pushing us like slaves he cultivated a friendly atmosphere, you know that atmosphere that no other clan has it. I think our members would rather be in the Ale Pond than fighting for Sarin or Muz. Sorry Muz, sorry insane score points, sorry pompous awards and titles, I'll stick to my Anshar.
Anshar buddy you are one of those Consuls that remain in my mind, a real Emeritus Consul an Elder of the clan. And on that list I only have Bloodfyre, Spears and you. If you think about it, so few people remember BF for taking second place in the GJW with Tarentum and so many remember him for being such a nice and helpful guy. If you could get a Cluster of Fire for every time you helped the clan I'm sure you'll beat my numbers of CFs by far. Thank you for all your hard work, Anshar!

Severon:
Anshar has always been the most helpful person he can be. When members needed direction, he gave it to them. When they needed help, he took the time to help them. He did this not only during his time as Headmaster but especially during his time as Consul of Clan Tarentum. He devoted his time to the well-being of the Clan's members even when it wasn't convenient. He was a true Tarentae.
Anshar gave us guidance during the GJW. He motivated the Clan to work harder than it ever had. He also unified the Clan, turning it into an effective fighting force against the Jedi. When the war grew long and wearying, he pepped us up by going before us and taking the most of the war. He is strong and wise and loves his clan dearly.
I have only recently become the Rollmaster of House Gladius so this is a large step for me but serving under Anshar as only a regular member of the Clan was inspiring. When I needed him, he was always there to give me advice. If anyone deserves this award, it would have to be him. Thanks Anshar, for being a true friend and leader to all of us.
Severon Vercingetorix
Raiju:
For almost two full years, Anshar has been actively been involved in a long time volunteered committment to Tarentum that continued since his resignation from Headmaster. At that time, Anshar had been the Headmaster of the DB and was a great success for the DB in that role. However, the loyalty Anshar has for Tarentum convinced him to give up the position, which many in the DB hold as their career goal, and returned to Tarentum as Consul to replace the resignation of Sith Bloodfyre. I've spoken to Anshar many times regarding this, and when discussed Anshar always repeats the fact that the reason he took the position of Consul was because of the situation Tarentum was in. Hurting from a lack of skilled leadership and no replacements for Bloodfyre and coming from a 4th place positioning from the last GJW; Tarentum was in a state of hurt and Anshar believed it was his duty as a son of Tarentum to return to help change things around.
And change things he did. After Anshar took over as Consul of Tarentum for his second reign he was commited to two things: 1) Creating a strong,structured leadership that could take over from him and continue on building from inside the clan and 2) Preparing for the next GJW and making a better placing then last time. When it came to the first objective, Anshar was effective. Working with the Tarentae, Anshar was able to get a number of veteran members to step up and mentor the new membership and begin marking potential leader candidates. Having members like Oberst, Doni, Rekio, Telona, and Dranik all return and take an active part in the campaign, Anshar worked with these veterans for almost a year mentoring and developing the skills of the new generation of leaders to slowly take their places at the heads of each of the houses. After this time, the House all began to emerge with strong figureheads for each House with people like Scion, Apollo, Ronovi, Odin, and Elols. All from the campaigning, mentoring, and leadership of Anshar.
Following the development of new leaders for the clan, Anshar's shift was then towards preparing the Clan for the next GJW. While a last place ranking was the result of Tarentum's participation in the competition, it was far from a failure. While we didn't meet our goal, Anshar's preparations for the GJW still had an impact. Running two clan "wars" and specifically this included runons, Anshar helped many members perpare for the GJW by developing their skills and work. This resulted in many of the placings our members had throughout the various competitions and especially with the 3rd placing for our clan runon. Additionally, Anshar himself did very well in the GJW participating in 11 events, several times placing within the top 10, and continued his strong leadership by encouraging many to participate and motivating the summits to do so as well.
Anshar deserves this award more than most do who earn it, due to his dedication, leadership, activity, and scarifrice. As mentioned above, Anshar gave up something many wouldn't proving his loyalty and selflessness. He developed key aspects of Tarentum that impacted the successes our members had through the development of a solid leadership structure that help oversee all of the Tarenti for their skill development. Likewise, he didn't shell out the duty of participating like many leaders do and lead through both voice and example. For all this and whatever may have been missed, I believe Anshar deserves this as a thank you from all of the clan.

Kyra:
Since taking over as Consul of Clan Tarentum, Anshar has been a constant presence and driving force in the Clan. He had dedicated his time to one strengthening the clan, two motivating members of Tarentum to be active, and three adding a significant amount of new fiction to the Clan's story. During the ninth Great Jedi War Anshar made a huge effort to get out weekly updates to the clan letting members know what was happening and where the clan was and what can be done to improve our standing. He also encouraged members, despite RL obligations for many, to do as much as they could to participate in the War even if it was only one or two activities.
Anshar gave Tarentum several major clan story competitions that featured multiple events, and the story arc "of the past" included a well written run-on by the clan leaders and many members of the clan. It was due in part to the hard-work and motivation inspired by our Consul, Anshar, which kept us writing, gaming, and competing. After the GJW he ran another clan competition featuring more parts that added significantly to Tarentum's history. Despite RL obligations and balancing his duties as P:MAA Anshar managed to add chapters to the "Broken" story, with the help of his summit. From personal experience, Anshar always replied to my queries and was there with help and advice, and gave Tarentum members opportunities to stay active and advance within the Clan. He also listened to the leaders and knew their input to the clan's fiction and overall success was paramount. A true leader in the DB and one that would be missed.
Anshar moved the Clan forward and left a legacy that other leaders can aspire too, that said he deserves and has earned this award. It has been an honor to be under his leadership and guidance, and serve as a house leader in Clan Tarentum. Thank you Anshar for a job well done!

Vai:
Rarely in the brotherhood do you find someone who gives their all for the good of the brotherhood. This level of devotion takes sacrifice of ones personal life to a level that notice must be made for it. Anshar, former Consul of Clan Tarentum, is one of these people who truely care about the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. This level of dedication is noticed in which empowers growth which is crucial to an organization such as the DJB. From the day I signed up for the DJB I have been learning more about Anshar. His professionalism, his knowledge and his care for every member stands out. Looking at who I am now as a Knight, I can see the impression that Anshar has made show in what I do. Thank you Anshar, you were an outstanding Consul and thank you for continued devotion to the DJB.

Ji:
Anshar has been the Consul of Tarentum since I joined the Brotherhood almost two years ago. In that time Iâve gotten to know him as a Consul and a friend and I donât think anybody has done more for the clan in the last couple of years. From his devotion to the members of the clan to his exciting and very well written clan fiction my time under Anshar has been highly enjoyable, something I attribute directly to him and his hard work. However, in spite of all these things Anshar has done for Tarentum, I feel his greatest contribution is his encouragement of the clanâs entire membership (from our numerous Elders to the newest Journeyman) to participate in clan activities. Even as a Novice while participating in an RO Anshar helped me solidify my understanding of clan fiction and ensured that my participation was valued and utilized in the greater storyline. We could not have asked for a better Consul Anshar. Youâll be greatly missed.
Ji Kâawiil
Saitou:
Although I am still a relative newcomer to Tarentum in the long run, I can honestly state that Anshar has been a pillar of the clan for the entire time I have been included among its membership. Anshar kept the fine balance that so many summit strive for when dealing with their fellow clansmen: order and respect. I'm not sad to see him step down as he deserves time away and a fine corps of summit are moving up to allow new ones to fill the lower echelon as it should be. A seemless transition without major crisis is the mark of a good leader. Thanks, Anshar.

Impetus has been without a doubt one of the most active members of the DB I have ever met. Enumerating all she has done without ever asking for anything in return would be actually too long a task for a single medal request. As Fiction Tribune you already know that one of the major projects I was working on was the RPG Guide. This guide recently went live on the DB site, and Impetus is one of its largest contributors. Impetus is responsible for the creation of the entire Dice System section of the RPG Guide, which in itself was no mean feat, there were several Asst. Loremasters that worked diligently on the project with me, Impetus was on of the most active and prolific of the group.
It is without a doubt when I say that without Impetus continual support, activity and willingness to create part of the guide itself that the RPG guide isn't still in some obscure creation stage. For Impetus' work, leadership, and fellowship within the DB, I can not say enough. Impetus is a natural mentor, a hard worker, and enters into her duties with a devotion that can not be found in many areas of this club. It is with solemn honor that I recommend Impetus M'nar be granted a Ruby Scepter.
In Brotherhood Service,
~ Countess Eludajae M'Nar; Loremaster of the Brotherhood
Impetus came to us earlier this summer looking for ways to up his resume, and help the Brotherhood as a whole. He wasted no time in going to work with me on our fictional department, in which he helped write several fictional updates and brain stormed ideas up with the Headmaster and myself. As a Magistrate to the Headmaster, Imp was always on time, and never afraid to give his two cents on ideas regarding the Shadow Academy. It's a shame he had to retire, but his hard work has not gone un-noticed. Thanks Imp, you'll be missed.
~ Taigikori Aybara Dupar; Praetor to the Headmaster
Impetus has been an Epis for almost exactly a year and five months. In that time, Impetus has been arguably one of the most active members in the entire Brotherhood. To show for it, Impetus has accrued the following: a Grand Cross of the Dar Side, 3 Steel Crosses, an Anteian Cross, a Seal of Loyalty, 29 assorted Crescents, 25 Clusters of Fire, 11 Legion of the Scholars, 14 Seals of Unity, 9 Seals of Remembrance, a Silver Nova, Dark Mavens in Service, Writing, and Philosophy, a Dark Savant in Writing and Philosophy, and a Dark Side Scroll.
Impetus has served on the Wiki staff for over a year, is the current Clan Trainer for CP in the ACC, was Magistrate to the Headmaster of the Shadow Academy for about 5 months, and spent about a month as BTL in House Calliburnus in CSP. The recommendations from Eludajae and Taigikori give you an idea of the scope of Impetus' contributions outside the Clan. Quite simply, I don't think anyone in the Brotherhood realizes how much Impetus has contributed, due to the diverse nature of the work.
What all has Impetus contributed during this time of such varied service? Not more than a month after transferring to House Satal Keto from CSP, Impetus, with the help of Eludajae, created a fictional event series entitled Mirror, Mirror, spanning two message board run-on's and two IRC RP sessions, all of this done, by the way, without any help from, or even suggestion by, Clan Plagueis' leadership. During GJW IX, Impetus helped proofread and spellcheck ACC posts. As Magistrate to the Headmaster, Impetus wrote fictional Shadow Academy updates and helped with the development of two new courses. I can tell you that whether or not she has held an official position, Impetus has been a leader in Clan Plagueis since the day she stepped foot here. Be it the mentoring and helping of younger members, or the willingness to step up to the plate and do something when she saw an area that could be improved, Impetus is the very definition of a good leader.
~ Vivackus Kavon; Proconsul of Plagueis
A Ruby Scepter is intended for the mentors of the Brotherhood, and Impetus has been exactly that. Her work as Clan Trainer, M:HM, and Loremaster aside, Impetus has helped mentor me. As a relatively new leader to the Brotherhood, I have on several occasions asked her opinion. The description for the Ruby Scepter reads that a member will have contributed in the areas of instruction, invention, and mentorship. This describes Impetus perfectly. It was with great respect and honour that I request Impetus be granted a Ruby Scepter with the hope that she will continue to mentor me and the membership of Clan Plagueis and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood at large. Congratulations, Impetus.

Pontifex RevengeX Palpatine has served as a model member and leader in the Dark Brotherhood for his entire career. Over the past six months he has further established his reputation as one of our best while serving in the role of Tribune: Wiki. Revenge's constant dedication and vigilance has ensured our Wiki as one of the best in Star Wars fandom.
During the course of the last six months Rev has personally edited over a 1000 WIKI pages. This number alone is stunning if you do not count in all of Rev's additional contributions to the Wiki. Rev has constantly updated Wiki policy and provided mentorship to our new members as they struggle through the process of using the Wiki.
Revenge has elevated the use of his staff and has led them to make several outstanding aesthetic and content changes to our Wiki. His work has improved the wiki beyond anything I could have imagined.

Dark Jedi Master Mejas Doto is one of the few members of the Dark Brotherhood who has served in the club for nearly nine years. His dedication and effort to the Dark Brotherhood is an effort that very few can match. His recent one year tour as Consul of Clan Arcona is just another addition to the long list of accomplishments within his distinguished career.
Deciding on an award for Mejas has been a difficult task and required research into the work he has put forth in the last year. Of all his accomplishments, I believe it was his ethical approach to reforming the relationships within Arcona and external to Arcona that will leave the longest lasting impact. For years Arcona has feuded with CSP in an in character and out of character manner. This out of character manner began to take a nasty turn earlier this year, but the issue was solved by the strong leadership of Mejas. Mejas stopped the harassment of CSP members and utilized his position as Consul of Arcona to ensure respect and decency were a part of the Arcona mantra.
In addition to this mentorship, Mejas also provided a steady hand to his members. His consistency and effort played dividends as the Clan regained its role as one of the dominant PVP Clans and lost its reputation as being a pain in the ass (haha).
I am proud of the work that Mejas put in and proud of the efforts he took to ensure Arcona became a better place. Thanks Mejas!

Aabsdu has served as the Headmaster for a period of 8 months. During this time he has taken the procedures and processes of the SA and enhanced them with his personal style and touch. New courses have been added, old courses have been audited, and updates to coding and graphics have been released. In addition to the maintenance and improvement of the SA systems, Aabs has worked diligently to improve the ficitional background of the SA. This work has been an additional tasking that he has taken on himself in order to improve the SA.
Aabs works to improve our systems and processes that allow our new members to succeed in the Dark Brotherhood. He is the mentor of mentors and for this, I am honored to recommend him for a RS. Congrats!
GM Sarin
Aabsdu has been a strong and stable force on the Dark Council for going on two years now, his work in Plagueis to stabilize and create a sense of identity for our most fledgling clan difficult and critical, and his subsequent term as Headmaster of the Shadow Academy continuing the trends set by previous headmasters. Aabsdu is a steady hand in the Brotherhood, his actions carefully considered and tested in a time when many would rather just throw everything at the wall and hope that something sticks. It is a valuable trait to have, especially in the Shadow Academy and in dealing with our youngest and most uninitiated members, where consistency is most needed. Aabsdu has still continued to provide a top-notch service in the Academy, with a steady flow of new courses and some interesting events like the limited time 'retired' courses to help get some of even our older members interested in the SA again. It is for these efforts that Aabsdu is easily reccommended for a Ruby Scepter. ~Muz Sadow, DGM

Pontifex Braecen Kaeth Kunar: The Krath Order honors those scholars who seek knowledge and spend their days instructing their followers. It is in these Krath Ranks that we find Pontifex Braecen Kaeth Kunar. Determined to develop his Clan in the finer aspects of the Force, Braecen has set an example for all other Consuls to follow. His dedication to improving the understanding of those around him has paid off as Clan Scholae Palatinae challenged for the right to be called First Clan. Spending time and energy Braecen has reshaped CSP and has modeled the Clan after those Krath sects that succeeded in finding true understanding of the ways of the force.<br>

Braecens skill, dedication, and hard work have earned him the right to be known as a scholar and a mentor. His establishment of policies and procedures that have led to a streamlined and efficient Clan serve as an example for all to follow. The Ruby Scepter is awarded for significant contributions in the area of instruction, invention, and mentorship. I can think of no one who sums up these three key areas any more than Manesh Sadow. <br>
<br>
In Manesh's 11 months since becoming CNS Consul he has served with his members at the very front of his every action. Manesh dedicated himself to improving their experience in the Dark Brotherhood and ensuring they they enjoyed their time while in this organization. <br>
<br>
Manesh's style of leadership served CNS well through the last year and his dedication to his Clan as a whole will serve them for the years to come. His focus on the individual and on ensuring everyone had a say set his Clan up as one of the most democratic and well run in the DB. <br>
<br>
Congratulations Manesh!<br>
<br>
Grand Master Sarin<br>
DLOS<br>
---------------------------------------<br>
<br>
Manesh is one of the few people in the Dark Brotherhood who I doubt I'll ever really forget. He was my first Quaestor and one of the few people I really got to know properly back when I first joined the club. He stood by me during my run in with the High Court of Inquisitors and is probably one of the main reasons I'm still here today, for back then most people would have cut all ties with me and that would have been the end of that. It demonstrated the immense degree of trust Manesh places in people in that he was willing to not only appoint someone so new but someone with a shady record also to be his second Aedile. For that Manesh will always have my thanks.<br>
<br>
What is there to really say that everyone else won't already have said? Manesh is one of the few people in this club who I have known who I can truly say embodies what I believe to be the soul of the Dark Brotherhood: fun. He isn't one to care about medals or rank, it has always a surprise he ended up where he is, for there was a time long ago when he persistently turned Proconsul down because all he wanted was to enjoy his time as Quaestor. His desire to enjoy the Dark Brotherhood filters down onto those he leads and it is that influence that I feel has made firstly House Ludo Kressh and later the whole Clan what it is today. A lot of people like to, in my view somewhat mistakenly, give me credit for many of the Clan's successes, but it is people like Manesh who trained me, and it is people like Manesh who deserve thanks too. Throughout his time in the Clan he has fostered a sense of identity and spirit that has manifested itself in a family that extends beyond a mere online club. Most of the people who know Manesh know the man beyond the PC, not the make believe Dark Jedi. Both now and in the past when he has retired before those who know him have sought to stay in touch, which is testament to the kind of man he is.<br>
<br>
While Manesh will probably look back on his time as Consul and feel he could have done better what he and all of us need remember is the lesson he himself always teaches: that one man doesn't make a Clan. The past year has been hard, not just in Clan Naga Sadow, nor the Dark Brothehood, but for Star Wars as a whole. The franchise has had a slow year and that inevitably impacts on us. That isn't Manesh's fault, it isn't Sarin's fault, it isn't Muz's fault. I consider myself very lucky to have had people like Manesh, Muz, Sildrin, Manji, Macron and Malisane, just to name a few, active in the Clan when I was Consul. For a period when the Clan would have struggled no matter who was in charge, Manesh has done a tremendous job succeeding in leading it through its greatest ever victory in a Great Jedi War. Trev always likes to look back and say he was the best because the Clan came second when he was Consul, there is no reason now why Manesh cannot do the same. Irrespective of the future, Manesh leaves the Clan in the hands of a capable Summit, an achievement in itself given the challenges he has faced this past year with some of its members.<br>
<br>
History is a fickle mistress and it is all too easy to forget what people have achieved. Some of the greatest figures in history have fallen from grace but are nonetheless remembered for the way they lived. While the last few months may not have been the easiest for him, Manesh's career is one that has spanned the better part of a decade and it should be reflected on as such. The Ruby Scepter is the mark of a leader, a mentor, an instructor. If there is one thing I could say Manesh has been over the past decade to many it is a mentor and with the passage of time I am sure it is for that he will be remembered.<br>

Son of Sadow<br>
<br>
------------------------------------<br>
<br>
I usually don't write recommendations that often for major awards or<br>
promotions, much less for those outside Taldryan. It's hard to see<br>
everything someone does when they are in another Clan and you just interact<br>
now and then. Manesh is an exception to that. From what I've seen he's had a<br>
roller coaster ride in Naga Sadow since taking on Consul last year. After an<br>
impressive finish in the GJW last year he's tried his best to guide the Clan<br>
through that unsettled time between Wars, and from what I can see it's been<br>
tough. I know the road of a Clan leader is stressful, at times too much for<br>
anyone. Like someone said to me before, being a Consul is the hardest<br>
position in the Brotherhood, which I completely agree with much of the time.<br>
I'm sure some love him, others not so much, but you have to recognize and<br>
respect what he's done for the good of the Clan such as helped members<br>
develop and the Clan develop fictionally over time. He has my respect for<br>
efforts and loyalty to his Clan, knowing when it's time to move on, and for<br>
being an upright guy towards me. Thanks Manesh, and congrats on the award. <br>

Manesh Sadow was one of the longest-lasting CNS Consuls. His performance was stellar, and he devoted a lot of time and effort into making this Clan a better place. In particular, his kindness and willingness to encourage and back-up all the members was great. His length of time in the DB and experience made for smooth operations, and his efforts to lead us during the last Great War were exemplary. Manesh gave me an opportunity as Proconsul and showed me the ropes, and I hope to continue his good works as Consul. The thing I learned the most was patience and kindness. Also, Manesh is a paragon of humility; even to the point of suggesting he did not deserve his last promotion (even through it was long overdue.) His historical campaigns were great. One of the things that impressed me the most was the SA Challenge- he allowed us as a Clan to vote on what SA course he would take that week. That was a great idea, and one I intend to take up after the War. The job of Consul is not an easy one, and he held it for a long time. Manesh deserves to be recognized for his hard work and dedication to this Clan and the Brotherhood as a whole. <br>
