Event History

Aleister is one of the old guard of Plagueis, continually making contributions to our clan at a steady pace. His work over the years lead to him having a large bank of experience points when our new system launched, but it also left him in a bit of a no man's land: Well beyond the level of a Sapphire Blade (one of which he already possessed), but still short of an Amethyst Kukri. Knowing that Aleister was always one to continue to make progress, I knew in my heart that he would reach that goal before too long.

Since his last award, he has entered 28 competitions while hosting another 24. The competitions he hosted were not simply one-offs, either. He has put together and run his Grand Prix puzzle events both last year and this year, a significant undertaking for one not in active leadership. It shows that he continues to go above and beyond! He also has 36 gaming activities and a total of 373 Clusters of Earth amassed as well, but yet again the numbers don't tell the whole story. He was a major driving force in organizing casual gaming across Plagueis during our recent Clan Feud vs Taldryan, setting up and organizing gaming events almost every day while the event was in progress. His efforts in that arena were very much responsible for Plagueis taking 14 of the 20 available top 10 placements across the two gaming competitions and seeing 23 total entries to those competitions. His work as an activity driver for his Clan has not gone unnoticed. But, even more importantly for this recommendation specifically, is the number 2,221. That represents how much experience Aliester has earned since February 1st when the XP system went live. That means Aleister has 9,218 experience worth of activities on his record that has not been accounted for with his medal recommendations in the past. His work as a leader of our Opress Battleteam, his activity over the years, probably even his efforts stretching back to his time in Clan Tarentum have all been under-recognized over the years, and I'm very pleased to be able to put him forward for this award for all of that work.

As such, for his work for the Brotherhood and its clans, both past and present, I recommend Aliester Mavros for his first Amethyst Kukri. His continuing efforts to support our organization while battling through difficulty warrants this recognition, overdue as some of it might be. Thank you for what you have done, sir. Dr. Kadrol Hauen has reached the required 11533 Medal XP to earn their first Amethyst Kukri.

Dear Doctor Kadrol, it was with great pleasure that I received your latest artifact and correspondence. It's clear that you've puzzled through quite a few situations as of late and returned to your basic studies within the Shadow Academy. While your conclusions on this particular artifact, an Amethyst Kukri I believe you called it, were inspiring I confess that the Scholae Palatinae museum has no need for this type of bladed exhibit at this time.

As such, I return it to your possession and caring knowing that you will continue to strive to unlock more insights into it's mysterious origins.

In the interim of those studies I commend you for all you have sought to accomplish in your contributions to the Brotherhood as a whole.

Nobody is more deserving of recognition than Aura. Having held multiple positions over the year, such as SWTOR Tribune, Magistrate to the Grand Master, and currently Magistrate to the Seneschal and Proconsul, the amount of work she puts in and her drive to make the Club a welcoming home for its members bleeds into everything she does.

It's been a little over a year since I pulled her back out of retirement to reprise her role as Proconsul and has been dutifully aiding me in carrying out my vision for the Clan, contributing multiple ideas on fictional elements such as the Locus Vera Farm and Siji Sing Dipengini and how to incorporate and use them in our story arcs as well as where to take the Clan after each large event. She's run multiple roleplays, gaming sessions and hosted events such as the current Seven Pillars. She willingly devoted hundreds of hours both in running 25 Community Events and participating in an additional 27, pulling members out from the shadows, getting them active, and giving them the best DB experience she can. Aura is a welcoming and positive presence whose impact is felt by every member of Odan-Urr.

Since her last recognition, she has participated in 87 competitions, earning her 2 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 14 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 6 Crescents with Emerald Stars, and 1 Crescent with Topaz Star. Her 110 gaming activities have netter 306 Clusters of Fire and 953 Clusters of Earth. She has also written a total of 9,601 words of fiction for 27 Clusters of Ice and her stick figures have earned her 20 Clusters of Graphite. Additionally, she has received 2 Seals of Loyalty and 16 Seals of Ascension for her efforts during the last Club-wide event in which she also was awarded 1 Silver and 2 Bronze Nova. Lastly, she ran 7 Competitions, Co-Ordganized 17, made 1 News Post, and posted 9 Comments.

Odan-Urr wouldn't be the same without her guidance, leadership, and love of community and friendship. Thank you, Aura for everything you've done for me, the Clan, and the Club as a whole. Congratulations on your Amethyst Kukri!

I miss Aldaric, though I know he's focusing more on real-life he's continued to be a pillar within the DJB. He has engaged with Caliburnus and helped encourage activity and he continues to maintain a fantastic turn-around time with his Shadow Academy courses being graded.

What is represented here, beyond the recent activities, is the backlog of experience he's gained from his time on the Fist's staff, to gaming, to contributing with the DJB as a whole. If he had not had an AK already he'd have received this at the onset versus during our periodic awards sweeps.

I hope he knows that we recognize him for all he's done and look forward to the time when he can contribute at the same levels again.

Warlord Rayne Palpatine has reached the required 11533 Medal XP to earn their first Amethyst Kukri.

I legit just said I was going to stop handing out shiny stabby thingies to my clan because they all want to use them to stab me. Yet, here comes Rayne, knocking out more and more XP to get the awesome purple shiny stabby thing!

Rayne has recently joined the Scholae Palatinae summit and I couldn't be happier. She has demonstrated what always existed; a drive to improve the clan and to create opportunities for our members. I imagine she's the type of person whom in real life someone says "I might be willing to go surfing" and Rayne grabs them by the arm and says "that's awesome, I'll do it with you!"

She always appears open to game, chat, work on character development, role-play, she's a constant companion to anyone in the club. In her new role she's taken on a more formal guidance of our newer members in the clan and I can see her hand in helping to shape them to be amazing new members.

Where to start with Juda? He has a hand in everything that happens in Clan Vizsla. From the day-to-day running and administration stuff to wiki work and mentoring new members. It is simply amazing the number of things he gets accomplished on a nearly daily basis.

I will start with something that has become the priority in Vizsla. Recruitment and retention, Juda has developed a system to help us retain new members that include one on one emails and chats at weekly intervals. He instituted weekly emails for competition reminders and revamped how we handled the master-apprentice program, and how we recruit new members. Has it worked? Vizsla at the end of the last Vendetta was the smallest clan in the brotherhood and it had been years since we had someone reach JM4. Vizsla is now the second largest clan and we have had 2 knightings this year as well as some promising candidates moving up the ranks now. His focus and work on this have been nothing short of amazing and this alone is extremely noteworthy to have a clan growing when the brotherhood has been in a steady decline for a while numbers-wise.

While the sheer amount of work Juda has put in on the member retention side of things probably has earned him this AK I would be remiss if I didn't mention his leadership as PCon. The day-to-day things that make a clan function are often overlooked but are essential to having a successful and fun clan. Discord has become where he lives. Constantly on the chat interacting with members. Most mornings start with Juda greeting the clan and end with him still chatting with people when I turn in for the night. These interactions with members are essential to getting people to stay engaged. We all may like the awards and promotions, I love the credits. But we have all stayed here because of the friendships that are primarily built-in chat. Nearly everything he does and the decisions he helps me make are tied back to member experience and retention.

Quite simply put, Vizsla would not be where it is today if Juda was not working so hard to make it successful. His work and continued effort for this clan are nearly unmatched. I am honored to award you this AK for the sheer amount of work you have done in making our clan what it is today. Congratulation Juda

I want to echo Shimrahs recommendation. Occultan (Mako) is a workhorse for Vizsla and his assistance in building out the planet of Korus wiki has been a considerable boon to completing it. Koda isn't just a fantastic member of my summit, he's a fantastic member of the club. I'm lucky to have him in Taldryan. He's the type of guy that will throw himself into whatever you give him, no questions asked.

My case in point is the recent work He's done on the Taldryan Tallies, having updated the images as part of his summit work.

He's also hosted 17 competitions, many of those were from the Crusader's Comical Comps which he recently ran for Taldryan.

In total, he's participated in 29 competitions and has earned the following awards;
