Since I rejoined Clan Odan-Urr there has been a consistent and dedicated member I have kept my eye on. That member is Waza Sunrider. Back when I was PCON, I tasked him with revitalizing the ToR Guild which he took on with enthusiasm as he is a regular player. He breathed life into the Guild and still pushes members to play which is evident by the event he recently ran where he invited and encouraged members throughout the Brotherhood to come and play. While the turn out wasn’t what he expected (which is sometimes the case for these things) he showed up and was there to play with whomever decided to participate. He didn’t let it get him down and he pushed through. His tenacity and commitment is one of the main reasons I hired him as the Battleteam Leader of the Proving Ground which is a BT geared towards showing new members the ropes. It is a role that he doesn’t take lightly as he consistently sends messages, reminders, and competition advertisements to the members of his team while guiding them through the ropes of the club. This includes checking in on them through email and discord chat on a regular basis to keep our newer members engaged and constantly moving forward. In working closely with him. I would consider him one of the better friends I have made, not just in the clan, but in the club. He is so important and has been a key player in the Odan-Urr’s success and I’m so glad to have him on my leadership team. In addition to his mentorship, Waza also actively participates and chooses to lead by example. He has participated in 31 competitions and organized 1 of his own earning himself - 1 Crescent with Ruby Star, 2 Crescent with Amethyst Stars, 4 Crescent with Sapphire Stars, 3 Crescent with Emerald Stars, 3 Clusters of Fire, 51 Clusters of Ice because where he has truly shined is in RP. He has amassed 16,594 words in just 3 RP activities, 7194 in 3 DM, and 1795 in 2 fiction entries. He has also earned 3 Clusters of Graphite, 1 Scroll of Indoctrination, 1 Scroll of the Master for mentoring a student to JM 4, and 11 Seals of Transcendence. The man is the epitome of ‘having fun’ and enjoying the club for what it was created for. The man is a workhorse who diligently works behind the scenes and is consistently earning Wikipedian of the month for his work on articles. Where some sit back and complain about doing work. This is what Essik does for fun, because to him, it’s something that needs to be done. This act is greatly appreciated and a task he takes on himself without anyone asking him to do it. On top of this, he remains one of Clan Odan-Urr’s elites in terms of overall activity. Nemo has recently seen a great resurgence. A newfound fire burns within him. I see him routinely on Discord and he's been actively engaging in our two most recent competitions series. Beyond the recent activity, Nemo has been a constant in CSP over the last year. He's participated in 82 competitions, passed a slew of SA courses, and has even reached out to me to assist on some behind the scenes work. While that work is on-going, the excitement Nemo shows to be engaged with the Clan's new direction is welcomed.

Reiden Karr, aka the Puzzle King, aka the Queueueueue Master, is in desperate need of correction on his non-site tracked XP. I did a screw up and didn’t realize that his last several major awards (despite having me write reccs) didn’t include points for his non-site work. So let me rewind the clock a bit to the launch of the XP and the important stuff Reiden has done over the last year(ish).

Over the last year there has been 1106 non-auto character sheet approvals. Of those Reiden has covered some 60.3% (668) of them, most within minutes of hitting the queue. (I don’t have a metric/ability to track time in queue to give average time there, so you are just going to have to take my word on it being that fast. It is incredibly difficult to see the alert pop up in voice-staff and get to the site before Reiden has already handled it.)

In addition to that I have counted 173 fantastic remands to character sheets handled by Reiden over this time period. Even in the instances where he is not the one writing the remand, he is nearly always the first to put comments in the thread about issues in our threads about the sheets that come through.

Reiden is also incredibly detailed oriented, frequently going through our feats and skills to make sure when there are major changes, everything gets caught. This includes the recent Charisma skill changes where there were multiple feats related to species and disciplines that didn’t have the wording corrected to the new skill terms. With hundreds of feats in our system, this is no easy task to catch the ones that have been missed.

Reiden has also been documenting many of the CS changes, and taking notes on common issues seen. These have been pushed out in some excellent reports.

Reiden, I can’t apologize enough on the fubar here. Congrats on the new drop of XP and stabby, and I look forward to more correctly rewarding you going forward.

Aiden has accumulated a lot of medal XP. His assessment belies the fact he most assuredly earned this medal through the years. While most of this XP is from before the XP policy since his last recognition he has completed 3 competitions. 3 gaming activities and earned 25 clusters and one seal in the recent GJW. He has been a consistent member of Vizsla and contributes where he can. This includes regularly being a member of the clan chats and contributing to clan discussions since his last recognition. Chat activity is an essential part of clan life and his being in those conversations contributes to the health of not just the clan but the entire club. Life is chaotic for most of us and I appreciate what Aiden does for Vizsla. Thank you, Aiden!
