Seer Aru Law has reached the required 11533 Medal XP to earn their first Amethyst Kukri!

In the mere four years since he joined, Aru has torn up the proverbial court whenever things got hot. In the four Vendettas he's participated in, he's all but maxed participation in each one, and his greatest complaint was that he couldn't do more. He is the master of stick-figures and avid consumer of graphics; and between normal fictions and RPs, has churned out over forty five thousand words of fiction since he joined the Brotherhood and Arcona. His leadership in Qel-Droma spanned over a year-and-a-half, as did his work as Magistrate to the Headmaster, both of which he applied to and started working within a year of joining; evidence of his ambition and drive that doesn't flag when there are metaphorical fires to put out or fights to be won. It's been said on many a recommendation, but that doesn't change the fact that while these awards are XP driven, the recognition that they generate is still well deserved. Thank you A-Aru. Congratulations Qor on this life-time achievement. With the recent roll-out of the XP system we are taking a long look at our members and the contributions they've contributed to the DJB since their join date.

This is a great approach as not everyone performs 10+ competitions within 3 months to qualify for a Dark Cross under the previous system and, even with that system, may have found themselves being awarded numerous smaller awards.

As we look at your total accomplishments, 381 unique competitions, 105,519 words written, 15,808 words of Run-on/RP fiction, nearly a hundred courses passed, and a lifetime of service in multiple roles, this is a well earned Amethyst Kukri.

I hope this encourages you to rejoin the DJB as time permits as Scholae Palatinae has an exciting new arc starting this year!

Reaver Diyrian "Diy" Grivna has reached the required 11533 Medal XP to earn their first Amethyst Kukri!

Zuji, Diy, and Kobign (who is supposed to be a human but I always imagine as a kobold); whichever character she is bringing to the forefront, she does so with gusto. Zuj has been a staple of Arcona for over half a decade now, holding positions in House Qel-Droma first as the BTS and BTL of Shadow Gate prior to its transition to Voidbreaker, then as Aedile and Quaestor of the House, and then as Rollmaster of Arcona, all in an almost unbroken chain starting within mere months of her joining the Brotherhood. She is a powerhouse competitor, a positive influence, member developer, and great leader even when not in an official leadership position. We owe much to her simply doing her day-to-day, and even more when she kicks it into high gear. So while this might be generated by XP, this faux-Zelosian deserves every ounce of the official recognition from our summit. Thank you Zuji.

Seer Sera Kaern has reached the required 11533 Medal XP to earn their first Amethyst Kukri!

Sera, or Orion/Ori depending on the day, came into the Brotherhood three-some years ago, and the "horny" Zabrak jokes haven't stopped since (because they have horns). Since his last promotion alone, he closed out his tenure as Magistrate to the Voice, and burned through over fourteen months of leadership split between Aedile and Quaestor of House Galeres. Ori ori-ginally tackled the task when the spot opened up while he was still in House Qel-Droma, and he came at it with an amount of energy that no one expected and, at times, could not be contained. He fits (w)right in too, given his avid love of fiction and roleplaying, being one of the testbed audiences and early curators of the activity in Arcona. Even more, beyond simply creating scenarios of activity for the members to digest, he was also one of the most avid cheerleaders in the Clan, and could be counted on during any major event to motivate and/or prod the people around him into action. I believe all this is sufficient pun-ishment for Sera, so while he burns through his real world obligations, hopefully this will add a little something to it. Thank you, Ori. Adept Eleceos Araave has reached the required 11533 Medal XP to earn their first Amethyst Kukri!

Eleceos or Ele, Rhylance or Rhy (the Science Chiss), has a long history in Brotherhood that would fill a proper promotion request for his list of accomplishments. His his last promotion just last year, he's spammed out 171 competition participations, collecting a stunning number of Crescents and Novae along the way. But this award comes on the wings of XP, so stats are almost redundant save to point out how much of a powerhouse competitor he is. Rhylance's achievements also include a good chunk of time as Consul, and one of very few who can likely boast the appointment in two Clans! During his leading time in Arcona as Proconsul then Consul, he was instrumental in carrying the torch from the ongoing Clan plots and keeping his people motivated through almost three years of Vendettas, events, and the drama that is ever-present in organizations like the Brotherhood. Some of these achievements are easily captured in numbers like XP, others are more esoteric and are carried only on the backs of memory and the odd saved chat log. So for what it is, thank you Rhy. Keep doing all the good things that you continue to do. We appreciates it.

Agate has reached the required 11533 Medal XP to earn her first Amethyst Kukri!

Nothing less can be said about Agate than how absolutely talented she is and how much of a pleasure it was to have her in Odan-Urr. In her time with us, she not only gained our utmost respect and gratitude but has earned multiple promotions as well as various awards for all of her contributions. Not only that but she still remains a powerhouse in the Rogues. One who I’ve seen pop up in numerous 1st place finishes in competitions.

Agate has populated many of the images on our Flora/Fauna page, most recently the Mire Kraken.

Additionally, she still comes out to participate in Club-wide events as shown by her 6 Seals of Enmity, and 7 Seals of Ascension earning 2 Gold Nova, 3 Silver Nova and 1 Bronze Nova.

Agate, you’re one of the most talented artists we’ve seen come through here in a long time. We appreciate everything you’ve given to us over the years and all that you continue to do. Thank you and congratulations on your Amethyst Kukri!
