While on my staff, Turel brought real world experience and an old hat at member advocation to bear. To say this was appreciated would be an understatement. There's a level of steady handedness that comes with it that helps calm everyone involved in a situation. Can't get enough of that. In fact, it is his presence that is his greatest quality and one I could keep droning on and on about. But that's not what I want to highlight. No, the best thing about Turel is that he never turns his brain off. Even when simply reviewing the Covenant while eyeballing a potential case, Turel felt an itch. The itch of "something's not right here". For Turel, that was the swath of gendered pronouns throughout our documents. Quite a simple little thought, but a much more expansive one when you realize just how often (in the hundreds) we reference gender in the Covenant. Having identified the problem, he pushed for the solution, and an amendment was put in. It goes without saying that the proposal was smooth sailing.

That's lasting change. The kind of influence Turel has on the systems around him. I think that's pretty well deserving of recognition.

Turel took over as Pcon of Odan-Urr at a time many things began to change. His experience and hard work helped build the Clan into what it is today. All while maintaining a constant presence and keeping the membership informed and engaged on all things happening. These changes included creating and implementing our two currently running Houses, the Consular Conclave and the Guardian Corps. From this, he contributed significantly to making a new Clan villain who took form in the Illuminance storyline. To prepare for the Dominion update, Turel was the brainchild of many of the possessions, then added and organized them to present a clear picture of what and where the Clan keeps its toys. His event “Odan-Urr: What if…?” ran for a month and put the members into a peculiar predicament, the possibility of being able to alter past events in Odan-Urr’s or their personal history. The event was a major success, seeing 19 contributors and 32 individual entries. In addition to the significant changes, Turel worked on the Scimitar of Lord Hoth competition and Life Day events, promoted activity for the Rite of Supremacy: Escalation, ran multiple community events and broadcast them using the new Discord “events” feature.

Rajhin has been great addition to the Dark Council and has continued to provide great contributions his entire time. Seeing him take his incredible vision he had for the office when he applied, and improving the gaming community has been great. All his contributions both in his office and to the DC have been worthy of reward. Congratulations.

I was blessed to inherit Nora as a Magistrate when I came into the role as Fist. Her enthusiasm and knowledge proved invaluable during the Fist transition and the on-boarding of my first crop of hires this past summer. The office kept running smoothly thanks in no small part to Nora’s assistance. Her perspective as both a senior magistrate familiar with the existing procedures and a relatively young in the club equite contributed immensely to staff discussions and helped the office produce better policies and content for the club’s gamers. More directly Nora has reviewed 198 gaming activity submissions, ensuring that 68 members were awarded clusters of earth and fire in a timely and accurate manner.

Howie, I don't consider this a demotion, rather it's a promotion to something lesser...wait, this isn't a demotion rec? Oh...well...this is awkward.

Or is it?! Because if there's one thing I know it's that Howie does enough yelling, analysis, review, and administration to earn award after award. And he damn well deserves it. Don't let him convince you otherwise, because he will certainly try.

Now, of course, I'm not a man on the inside that sees everything Howie deals with day in and day out. However, I know the impact he has on the membership and I can just hop over to the Events page to see what all is travelling through his wheelhouse. What I do see, day to day, is the level of engagement he has with the DB. The sheer will he presents against any and all challengers. That, of course, includes the yelling. So much yelling. The problem is, he's not usually wrong and you can't even use that against him!

I would certainly like to.

Many of the current membership would be hard pressed to know of a time where Howie wasn't the man with the approval stamps. There's a reason for that. Take this and accept it in the spirit it is given, Howie. Back to the Bear Cave with you.

Awards, so sour, so great. The notion of it. He maintains just enough of a staff to keep the MAA office running smoothly. He's a great mentor to those around him. He cares about the community and keeps his eyes on the bigger picture. He makes MAA look easy, when in reality it's far from. Congratulations.

Qyreia has done an incredible job since taking the reigns of Arcona in providing a level of consistency in storytelling, world building and identify for Clan Arcona, and providing members with a fun engaging community. I look forward to seeing as he continues to develop the wiki, possessions, fiction, and future events providing an incredible experience for members of the Clan. He picked up going into a Vendetta and finished strong and I expect momentum to continue. Congratulations Qyreia and thank you for all that you do.

Appius has done an incredible job leading Clan Taldryan his his last award. Working on building up the Clan backstory and identity and leading them into and through the vendetta. When looking at awarding him for all his great work this year I was reminded all over again just how short a time he's been part of our community and already made such a great impact as a leader. I look forward to seeing what you continue to accomplish and the experiences and opportunities you continue to provide as leader of Taldryan. Congraulations.

I am a firm believer of making sure you always have a record of what a summit member or staffer of any kind has done under you and not rely on some shady memory when they leave your staff and any period of time passes.

Since my last recommendation for him, Slagar has been instrumental in the creation of any item images I was not able to fulfill myself or just generally assisting in speeding up the process, completing well over one hundred images for content we've released. In addition, he's proposed several items for our now regular booster releases, with the idea of booster releases being his in the first place. Beyond all that, the images alone being a tedious and sizeble amount of work in most cases and not just a simple cut and paste, Slagar participated in most Regent Staff discussions and was always there should I need to bounce ideas off of him - and for that, I am grateful and thankful.

Thanks for all your hard work Slagar, and I hope to one day see you rejoin the staff! Best of luck on your new endeavors, and enjoy the stabbity!

I don't know how many purple stabby weapons Slagar needs, but he keeps doing the work and earning them so we'll keep piling on. Thank you for continuing to dedicate yourself as a passionate leader who wants to provide opportunities for members and create compelling experiences in all you do. Your Clan is lucky to have you as its Consul and I look forward to seeing all the great things you accomplish this year. Congratulations!

Korvis has stepped in as a leader of a Clan with a strong identity, and short (relatively) history, and steered the ship straight as he continues to provide a Mercenary like experience for members in an organization themed primarily on Sith schemes and killing your master by various means. He has always been a great voice of reason and every interaction we've had and strives to provide members of his Clan a strongly themed experience with competitions and events to participate in to make the best of it. Congratulations.

Like all my other staffers, Korvis has been an active member of the staff so far during his tenure. Since joining the Regent Staff he's proposed and completed over a dozen prototypes for two separate booster releases, completed quality control checks on proposed items, and has helped contribute to the Land Vehicle Upgrades project for both proposed upgrades and the Land Vehicle Upgrade store we're pitching to the Grand Master and Deputy Grand Master. Korvis is an active contributor to our staff conversations, and consistently replies to each message and work request he's been given.

In addition, Korvis immediately jumped on my request to align the descriptions of all existing member land vehicles in the system with that of space vehicles, requiring him to copy the details of each one, rewrite them in a consistent manner, and create armament/complement lists to mirror that of space vehicles. He completed that project in a timely manner, going through necessary quality control when finished to ensure that the end product of each item was as intended.

I feel that Korvis is one hundred percent deserving this reward, and am ecstatic to write this recommendation supporting it. Congratulations on the stabbity, man!
