There are turning points, times in history where things could go one way or another depending on the actions of those involved. As we were staring down Bioware's nuclear bomb in the way of their new 'Old Republic' game, we were all knew what could be coming. MMOs are not typically great for clubs like ours. We worried, tried to get things set up to prepare for the inevitability of it's release. And here we are, a month after launch, and the DB's in-game presence is one of the largest on any server. We utterly dominate our home server. On top of that, the members aren't all in-game only. Many of them have joined in the Dark Brotherhood proper. I have heard and helped new members on Ventrilo, slogging through Shadow Academy courses in between missions in-game. I have seen members in guild-chat attack new joins and try to convince them to join their own clans and houses. The culture is Outstanding, and it shows the depth of work that Fremoc and his staff have put into the game and how we, as a Brotherhood are handling it. Even as we witness the quiet hours on IRC as our members talk like mad in-game, we still see the high level of activity, just in a different place. Considering how far wrong the launch could have gone, I am immensely happy and Proud of how Fremoc, as my Fist, has handled the situation. To that end, I hereby am compelled to recognize Fremoc with an elevation in rank to Equite IV. I appreciate all you have done, Fremoc, and I look forward to seeing how you continue on. ~Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith
I would also like to publicly acknowledge all of the work Fremoc has been putting in during his tenure as FIST. Although the "youngest" member of the Dark Council, in relation to his time in the DB, he has proven himself highly capable. He is always looking for ways to improving gaming in this club, and is always thinking about the members. The work he has done for the Guild is outstanding, and the foundation he has helped create should be a lasting one. I remember how stressed he was as the release date for TOR kept getting closer, as he did not want this to be screwed up. Doing the Guild thing in this club is not easy, and we have a lot of hard work ahead of us, but Fremoc has helped ensure that we hit the ground running. Thank you!

Shikyo has been an excellent Herald. His design of new robes and saber images for the membership is commendable. He has served as Herald for a very long time, since Muz stepped down from the position. Shikyo has his hand in many areas of service inside the Brotherhood, including acting as a Dark Council advisor for Clan Naga Sadow for a time. His door is always open, and he does his best to help those who seek his counsel. The Brotherhood is a better place for all the work he has done over the years. many members have his unique images on thier dossiers. The Herald's staff also is well-trained and very helpful under his guidance. His Herald-style Hannukah images are an especially nice addition to the options members have to make their characters more unique. Shikyo is deserving of serious commendation. ~Macron Goura Sadow, Consul of Clan Naga Sadow
Shikyo has turned out countless sabers and warbanners upon request. Not only that, but he keeps adding those available for general selection every year as well, with the Herald Style Hanukah. Also, behind the scenes, he has been working on the mugshot selector, something that will be released when it is all done. I am not one for many words. I prefer to do things. So, to keep it short: I do think that Shikyo deserves this. congrats! ~Korras, Master at Arms
Shikyo Keibatsu has done a great many things for the DB. I've had the pleasure of watching his talent grow as Herald. His contributions of graphics for the DB has been numerous. He has also been a great mentor to many of our members. He is a true asset to this club and I am proud to recommend him for this sacramental award. Congratulations, Shik! ~Ashia Keibatsu, Aedile, House Taldryan
The Herald is charged with making graphics for the DB. Much of the work done is of professional-grade level, where you would be paying in large numbers for the work that is produced by someone like Shikyo. He has been consistent in the quality and quantity of his work, with the last HSH being a perfect example of it. Everyone in the DB was extremely pleased with the offerings this year. So even though he was overseas, he still managed to send those daily posts out to us. Since last he was rewarded Shikyo has made numerous lightsabers, warbanners and even other robes. He has ensured that the quality we have grown used to from the Herald office hasn't slipped. Since he's been Herald for so long, it becomes easy to take for granted just how much work and effort is involved in keeping up the same level of quality. It is a testament to his ability and drive that things haven't slipped. Congratulations, and keep up the fantastic work! ~Halcyon Taldrya, Sith Lord
Shikyo is a name that almost everyone in the Brotherhood is familiar with. His work in the Herald's office has been nothing short of outstanding. He has put forth hundreds, if not thousands of graphics for public consumption, working to make the Brotherhood a more appealing and immersive place to be. This is incredibly important work considering that we are competing with a multi-million dollar video game for member attentions. Above and beyond that, he has done a lot of this work while deployed, in the middle of the ocean on a warship. Yet, Shikyo is not an one trick pony. He has constantly and consistently come to me, seeking to do more for the club, trying to expand what we already have in more than just graphical ways. He has been a surrogate for me, and has been sent to units that need his unique wisdom and experience to grow beyond what they struggle with. When I noticed that Shikyo's dossier was pretty bare, despite his high rank, I sought immediately to make reparations. He deserves that much, considering all that he has done for us. To wit, I am pleased to present Shikyo Keibatsu, Herald of the Brotherhood and my brother, with an emerald dagger as a token of our esteem. Congratulations, keep up the great work, and I look forward to awarding you further. ~Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith.

Taigikori has been an outstanding Headmaster. He has also served as Magistrate to the Fist. The Shadow Academy runs very well and smoothly under his guidance. A plethora of new courses have been opened under his aegis. He has trained an excellent staff, and Ronovi's solid work under his leadership reflects well on Taigikori's training regimen. The Shadow academy has become more solid, responsive, and offers more to the members under Taigikori's leadership. I've seen the SA grow by leaps and bounds under his guidance. Taigikori is very responsive and helpful in any dealings I have had with him, both as a regular member and as a Clan leader. I can safely say on behalf of Clan Naga Sadow, that Taigikori deserves serious commendation of the highest level for his outstanding performance. Congratulations!!! ~ Macron Goura Sadow, Consul of Clan Naga Sadow
Even with plenty going on in his own personal life, Taig has managed to keep doing his job as Headmaster succesfully. He is constantly improving and expanding the SA courselist, and consistently works with new members to help them along. Member retention is up, and more members have made it through the first few ranks then 2 years before. This is not due to the requirements going down. Those have not changed in difficulty. It is, however, due to the attention people get. Congrats, Taig. Here's to the Grind Path! ~Korras, Master at Arms
Taig's an awesome person to talk to when working on projects. Personally I work for him as a Magistrate and he works for me as my own Magistrate. Although we've officially been on each other's staff's for a short period we have been un-officially attached to one another since I joined the Dark Council. We bounce ideas off one another, trying to figure out the best way for our department to be better at what it does. Prior to ToR's release, my staff was shown the work Araxis and I had been working on for months in preparation for the release. Taig spoke his mind about the plans to make sure that the plan was sound, and pointed out a couple issues that could come up in game. A lot of the time I would call up Taig during the summer to discuss ideas about new Shadow Academy Courses, re-writing the GMRG exam, while he would bounce off ideas he had for the grind path to make it look freaking awesome. Trigger deserves this award, he's a great friend and ally, a hard worker, and will always play the devils advocate for you to make sure your plans are sound and proofed. Congrats man, and well done. ~ OE Fremoc Pepoi Sadow, Fist of the Brotherhood
Taigikori Aybara Dupar has been a wonderful addition to the DC and the Shadow Academy. He has brought a number of new SA courses has worked diligently to find ways to reach the newer members. He is a credit to the club and it is with great pleasure that I recommend him for this sacramental award. Congrats, Taigi! ~Ashia Keibatsu, Aedile House Taldryan
Taig has continued to devote all of his time and energy into improving both the SA and himself. I have seen him do everything in his power to ensure the Shadow Academy is more than just a place for newbies to do some tests in. He has worked to expand and update the courses into ones that can be useful to the DB at large. He has attempted to work the SA into every facet of the DB, making it a staple of life for the club. He has continued, diligently, to ensure the Grind Path is completed with only coding needed to fully have it implemented. As I had said earlier, he has also shown a large willingness to improve himself, so that he can better the club. He has come to me on numerous occasions for guidance on how to improve himself personally and is always willing to help out in any way he can. That was proven in the last GJW where he jumped into any spots where others may not have had time to grade events. Keep up the great work, Taig! ~Halcyon Taldrya, Sith Lord
Taigikori is the perfect Headmaster. I'll let that sit for a moment, as it could stand on it's own as a reccomendation for the Ruby Scepter that I am giving him. He has driven the expansion of the Shadow Academy since he took the office, creating and authoring new courses and degrees. He has worked with me to get more older members interested in the SA again with things like the society and character sheet and possessions integration. He has also taken the lead and done the lion's share of the work on the Grind Path, a new methodology to set our hooks into the new members better, to try to increase member retention. He is where the rubber meets the road for many of our new members. And he has done it seamlessly. Taigikori, you are an inspiration to many of us, and I hope to be here long enough to reward you for it in the future. ~Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith
