To say that Valhavoc has been "busy" is an overwhelming understatement. This man is never content unless he's managing near or full 100% participation in anything, and heaven forbid he has to go on RL vacation for a couple of days. He was a great boon to Galeres and now Qel-Droma, and frankly, in the short time he's been my Aedile, I'm completely floored by what he's managed to do already, along with the great maturity and professionalism he has brought with him.
Valhavoc established a brand new Battleteam from scratch in Galeres and proceeded to build it up with diligence and care, until it eventually became the top BT we had in Arcona with fantastically active members with a desire to improve and win in events such as Beyond the Horizon where it did just that for several months. Then Qel-Droma had an Aedile vacancy and he stepped up and again moved into a brand new position for him, and was literally thrown right into the Crusade vendetta. And I am very happy to report that he took to it like a fish to water.
Val threw out numerous emails to our members to introduce himself to the House and motivate everyone for the oncoming Vendetta, finished out his own BT's report so that he could move and let the new BTL come in well-organized, and helped to write a report for the HQD Summit, as well as came up with a rewards matrix to help our Summiters reward people, and became a wonderful sounding board for myself as well as bringing in some great wisdom born from real life experience. And then, on top of all of this, Valhavoc participated in 5 events during the vendetta: Stones fiction, Graphics, Gaming, SA Encryption, and of course, the Wiki competition, in which he assisted his team in winning fourth place, and helping Arcona win 2nd place overall during the Crusade.
As if that wasn't enough, he has also recently obtained a Scroll of Foundation for mentoring Montresor to DJK. Monty has gone on to wildly participate in the Vendetta, no doubt partially due to Val's diligence in tutoring him. On top of his merits, Val was also an extremely active participant during Beyond the Horizons Arcona/Plagueis Feud, and obtained an Amethyst x6 for 3rd place in BTH RO, 1st place Acro, 3rd place fiction, 1st place wk2 BTH acro, 2nd place BTH battleplan, and 2nd place for wk2 BTH fiction, plus a Legion of the Scholar for 1st place in BTH Trivia as well as a Diamond Star for 1st place overall in BTH. Aside from BTH he has also won a Sapphire x1 for 1st place in the Defeat Diablo competition, Emerald x1 for 3rd place in "The Great Error Hunt", Cluster of Ice x5 for his participation in the Avenger II run-on and Val has also earned himself an incredible 722 Clusters of Fire for TOR/Diablo participation as well as 3 Pendants of Blood.
So again, "busy" is an overwhelming understatement. Valhavoc has been an amazing boon to Arcona through his hard work and dedication and I have nothing but great faith in what he will accomplish as Aedile. It is my pleasure to request this GC for him to show our appreciation.

I would just like to take a moment to add a few sentences to Sock's comments.
Valhavoc has been a boon to Arcona since he joined. His work on the gaming front, his activity within the Clan, his ability to lead even before being awarded a leadership position all speak of his wide array of talents and abilities. I feel honoured, if not graced, to finally have him as a colleague within the Arconan summit.
His work speaks for itself, as Socorra has demonstrated, he does everything off his own back, in his own time, all for the benefit of Arcona and its members. This, above all else, defines his role as a member of this Brotherhood. Without people like him, this would be a dull, dreary place.
