Primary reason

It is a delight to be able to make this recommendation today. The Amethyst Kukri is an award that is bestowed upon those who have shown their dedication and focus on furthering one aspect of the Brotherhood far beyond what was expected of them. Kora has more than earned this recognition through her consistent contributions to our community, her steady presence in our club, and the energy she’s brought to Vizsla across so many different avenues of activity.

Since her last sacramental award, only 2 and a half months ago, Kora has grown her contributions to the club and in turn, Vizsla. Truly it is astounding to me to see such a meteoric rise. In that time, Kora has reached the required 11533 Medal XP to earn her first Amethyst Kukri. She’s done this by participating in an impressive 127 competitions. Out of those, she’s earned 61 placement awards, meaning she placed in about 47% of the competitions she entered. Those placements include 1 Gold Nova and 60 Crescents: 12 Diamond, 14 Ruby, 16 Amethyst, 9 Sapphire, 3 Emerald, 5 Topaz, and 1 Quartz. That level of consistent success across events shows Kora is focused on more than just participation but quality work as well.

Beyond those service recognitions, Kora has earned a wide spread of activity awards that reflect her consistency and involvement: 751 Clusters of Fire, 3 Clusters of Ice, 122 Cluster of Graphite, and 1 Scrolls of Foundation. In addition to competition entries, Kora has been just as dedicated across all realms of activity. In gaming, she logged over 101 activities. In fiction, she’s completed 2 fiction activities with 1376 words. She’s advanced across 11 different society rank-ups, including 1 with the Inquisitorius, 3 with Shroud Syndicate, and 7 with the GMRG. That breadth of engagement makes her a well-rounded and reliable member, one we can always count on no matter the arena.

In short, Kora exemplifies the qualities we look for as a member of our community: she is active, very dependable, a positive presence in our community. She’s shown that time and again she’s not just here for herself but for the success of the community we are building. For all these reasons, I’m proud to recommend Kora for her first AK. Congrats, and thank you for being such an inspiring member of our clan!

What can I say about Kora? I don't have to say anything to be honest. She lives by the Credits not Words creed as evidenced by her activity level. I see so many notifications about her that I may have to start a separate filter. She has amassed a large amount of XP since her last award in August and has earned her first Amethyst Kukri.

I see great things in Koras future, maybe someday stepping up into my job and beyond. Great Work!

Mandalorian Malodin'Tater, 2025-11-01 12:54:01 UTC

To say that Kora is a rising star is an absolute understatement. Her competition participation is incredibly high, and her percentage of placement is nigh unbelievable, showing that she isn't just entering for the sake of it. Every bit of XP she has acquired is undeniably earned and the amount of time she has acquired it in is somewhere between admirable and insane. With her constant activity and now working for an official position, there is little doubt in my mind that she is going to have an incredible mark on the DJB given enough time and people willing to let her do it, and there is no underestimating how much I do so hope that more people take notice of her great talents.

Turel, for all of his strengths and weaknesses, knows people, how to work with them, encourage them, and help them achieve the best. Even if there are times when some of us butt heads, it is for the betterment of the Club, the Clan, and our members. I was excited to see him come home to COU, and I am equally sad to see him going back to the Council, but I know the things he will achieve taking over the Bird's Cage will be for the benefit of all of us, not just some of us, and these are the kinds of lasting impressions we should seek to leave in a community like this.

Turel has been a great teacher and community outreach member for Odan-Urr, assisting Kav as she learned the ropes along the way from Battleteam Leader up through Quaestor, supported our new members (so many Edprentices) as they joined The Brotherhood, provided a consistent gaming partner for any and everyone in the DB, and was always unafraid to throw his opinion into discussions about the Clan's welfare and member activities, or reach out about trying new initiatives.

I look forward to the things you'll do in your new position Turel, what bright changes are on the horizon, and how you'll address new members as the future Zookeeper Headmaster.

Ever onwards~

Additional reasons

When I think of what makes the Brotherhood feel like a community, I think of folks like Turel. He’s the kind of member that genuinely enjoys being here – someone who plays, laughs, and connects. Turel has been a steady presence within our community, whether it’s through gaming sessions, or simply being available to chat, he makes this space feel welcoming to both old faces and newcomers alike.

Turel not only accepts new members, but welcomes them with open arms. He carries the weight of experience without ever making others feel small. He listens, encourages, and makes casual conversations memorable.

From his constant involvement, his generosity with his time, and the warmth he brings to every corner of our community, I can think of no one more deserving of this amethyst kukri.

Congrats on the new stabby, Turel. Don’t leave it at any crime scenes :P

Magistrate Seals, 2025-10-24 19:14:35 UTC

From the moment I first joined the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, Turel was one of the first ones to lend a helping hand and answer any questions that I had. This is something that he’s extended to many other new members as well, and something that I deeply appreciate.

When I went on to become a BTL and now Quaestor, Turel was there again to support me. He helped teach me more of the lore for House Hoth. He also played an active role in offering his own ideas, as well as providing a great deal of support simply with his amazing encouragement and enthusiasm towards my House narratives.

On top of all this, Turel is a huge reason why I decided to get involved with the gaming community of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. I never felt confident in my gaming abilities or thought it was something I would be able to have fun with. Watching Turel livestream, along with his comedic and supportive energy he brings to games helped change that for me. When I first started playing games, Turel taught me a lot and happily answered any questions I had about how they work, and helped to encourage me to keep playing.

He has always been a beacon of new ideas during his time spent in House Hoth, and in the Brotherhood a whole. Turel, thank you for all that you have done and continue to do, and a massive congrats on the new shiny to add to the collection!!

Syrena Valkar, 2025-10-26 20:14:20 UTC

What do you get Turel the Tiger for enrichment? A brand new stabby toy. Try not to hit bone too much. It takes chips out of the blade.

Bye, cat.

Seriously though, well earned and well deserved, old friend. I hope I'll be in the next one or in others in the future. Congrats, Turel <3

Primary reason

Bograt has earned the required 11533 medal xp for an Amethyst Kukri through general activity and contributions to both the Clan and the Brotherhood. Since his last recognition, he has organized 20 and co-organized 6 competitions. He himself had participated in 100 comps, winning 2 Diamond, 1 Ruby, 4 Amethyst, 1 Sapphire, 1 Emerald and 1 Quartz Star Crescents. Bograt participated in 21 fiction activities, which earned him 3 ranks in the Inquisitorious and 89 CoI. He wrote a total of 42,791 words of fiction over 18 rps as a participant, 2 rps DMing, and writing 1 regular fiction. His roleplaying activities netted him 6 Envoy(Participant) and 4 Envoy(DM) ranks. Bograt earned 4 CoF in 2 gaming activities and 2 GMRG ranks. His art contributions netted 16 CoG and 2 Shroud Syndicate rank ups. His 19 society ranks gained included 2 ranks in ACC Judge after judging 1 ACC Battle. Bograt also gained 1 Dark Side Scroll, 1 Scroll of Foundation, and 1 Seal of Loyalty.

Bograt is one of our most socially active members in the club. He’s attentive, supportive, and laidback. He doesn’t mince words but is fair and understanding. Shortly after returning to the Brotherhood, Bograt had taken up office in the Arcona summit. His attention to details, admin and management skills have been key in aiding with the inner workings of the clan. Bograt coorganized and helped promote the Veins of Power clan event, assisted in shaping the new direction of the Clan’s fictional story — creating the C.A.D.R.E.S.(and their wiki page), a fundamental fiction driver. Bograt aided greatly with Clan reports, the periodic award sweeps, with organizing the Clan Summit, and assisting in the greater Brotherhood business. He actively engages the clan and has recognized their efforts, writing 11 recs as both primary and support for an array of awards and promotions.

I really can’t thank Bograt enough for his contributions and assistance. As a right hand man, he aided in settling some tough decisions, revolutionizing and visualizing the direction we sought to take the clan. He helped make it possible and although those plans haven’t been fully accomplished, I believe Bograt will bring good things to the clan.

So, it is with honor that I recommend Bograt for his first and far deserved Amethyst Kukri. Congratulations and good luck on your next ventures. May the stars guide you.

Additional reasons

When I took the position of Wiki Tribune, Bograt was one of the first I wished to choose for my staff.

Diligent, driven, and willing to speak his mind, he has proven an excellent editor and addition to the group. Even when the rest of us are bogged down by the unending chaos which is 2025, he has proven to be highly capable of suggesting ideas and making fixes to various articles. It is no exaggeration to say the bulk of one ongoing project for easier references and learning tools has gotten as far as it has thanks largely to his efforts.

I very happily second this Amethyst Kukri, as he has earned it several times over by now.

Tarvitz, 2025-10-09 20:15:25 UTC

I get the fun situation of getting to talk up Bog as both my boss (PCON) and subordinate (Exarch Staff). In both capacities, Bog has been attentive, present, and communicative in his efforts to help people with the resources/information they need. As a staffer he helps manage the queue, helps with policy shaping, and in working/tooling the systems we use to RP.

Primary reason

Remalia is one of those members who hits the ground running; consistently active, whether in gaming, writing, or just their general presence. In the few short months since they joined, they've taken on a position as Magistrate to the Headmaster, and since their last recognition, have flown through the Societies of the Brotherhood, gaining a rank in the GMRG, Shroud Syndicate, and ACC as a participant, as well as 2 ranks in the Inquisitorious and 4 in the Envoy Corps (as a participant). Earning themselves 2 Crescents with Diamond Stars, 5 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 11 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 11 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 6 Crescents with Emerald Stars, 3 Crescents with Topaz Stars, 2 Crescents with Quartz Stars, 206 Clusters of Fire, 94 Clusters of Ice, 4 Clusters of Graphite, and 8 Scrolls of Foundation, just in the last 4 months! Considering Remy took part in 106 competitions since their last recognition (123 counting containers) this is a staggering amount of placements.

What strikes me about Remy is their continuous efforts in fiction, if the Clusters of Ice alone don't explain Remy's passions for writing, let me break it down for you. Remy has submitted 17 Fiction Activities (excluding their ACC Match) in the last 4 months, from those given 7 were Regular activities with a total wordcount of 22,097, and 9 were roleplaying sessions with a wordcount of 19,638 (yes, there's one activity missing, probably because the site could not contain the sheer power of Remy's submissions at this point).

Congratulations Remy, you've more than earned this honor.
Ever onwards, for many more to come.

Chronicler Wolfe, 2025-10-12 05:32:50 UTC
Additional reasons

I’ve gotten to know Remalia over the past few years and I can definitely say I am forever grateful for him being my anchor in the club. Remalia has been a very active member in Knights of Allusis, COU, and the Brotherhood at large. All the way from helping FIST staff with Warframe times, to roleplays and fiction competitions. I mean seriously, 102,500 words or 205 Clusters of Ice in eight short months is no easy feat. That’s a lot of ice!

Remalia is one of those members who you can go to with questions, and he will answer to the best of his ability, and if he doesn’t know, he will inform himself before getting back to you. He is Magistrate to the Headmaster afterall. This attribute is rare and so very cherished in a community filled with lore, like the Brotherhood is. Thank you for putting up with all my rambling questions, and thank you for answering all them.

I don’t think I’ve quite met a member whose character's paths are ever as evolving as Remalia’s, and it is such a joy to hear about all the adventures and obstacles each of his characters go through and overcome.

Remalia, thank you for being someone I can always count on, thank you for being an amazing active member in the DJB, and thank you for being an even better friend.

Congratulations on the new stabby, you earned it.

There are few people in the entirety of the Clan I can think of who are more deserving of recognition and award than Luka. A constant and familiar presence amongst all the Arconan spaces, Luka is always ready to lend a hand in whatever the Clan needs. Even when he's not busy running competitions or compiling information for the benefit of the Clan, there is scant a competition which goes by that I do not see Luka's name in the entries. That kind of dedication of purpose and intent to help deserves nothing less than the highest recognition.

Since their last medal, Luka has organized 31 competitions and co-organized another 5, on top of taking part in 131 as a participant. This has led to a pile of Crescents: 1 with Diamond Star, 4 with Ruby, 12 with Amethyst, 10 with Sapphire, 8 with Emerald, 2 with Topaz and 2 with Quartz. All of that activity has combined to a total of 238 Clusters of Fire, 12 Clusters of Ice, and 50 Clusters of Graphite. Nine overall rank-ups in various Societies - 2 in the Aurora Collegium of Sciences (from an additional 3 courses passed and 2 degrees earned), one each in the Grand Master's Royal Guard and the Inquisitorius, 2 for the Shroud Syndicate, one for ACC Judging, and one on each side of RP (player and DM). During this time, Luka also advanced to the rank of Equite 4, now knocking on the doors of Elder status.

Luka served for quite a long time as a Battleteam Leader - first for the Selen Training Corps, and then of the Dajorran Marshals - and during that time was a great and valued member of our Clan Summit. Luka's contributions both in helping keep our ship aright as well as providing insight and opinions to help shape the direction of our Clan were invaluable.

For all these reasons and more, it is with great appreciation that I hereby recommend that Luka Zarkot be granted an Amethyst Kukri for their service to Arcona and the Brotherhood.

Bograt, 2025-10-10 15:15:09 UTC
Additional reasons

Luka has done amazing work for Galeres and Arcona as a whole. During their time as Battleteam Leader, Luka held the line for not only notfying members of ongoing competitions, but hosting events for the BT and keeping them on schedule.

Since their last recognition, Luka organized 10 competitions for the Dajoran Marshals Battle Team.

Luka has definetly done more than enough to earn a shiny new blade.

Quaestor Koda Kendis, 2025-10-08 02:17:09 UTC

It's no surprise that we're back again to recommend Luka for another award. He has been a staple of Arcona and House Galeres for a long time, and has more than earned this award. Whether through his work as the Battleteam Leader of the Dajorran Marshals, or as an unsealed member of House Galeres, Luka is always contributing to the activity and culture of the Clan through his gaming activity, writing, and viking in our clan and House chats.

More than deserved, Luka. Keep up the great work.

Astralis continues to not only exceed my expectations, but completely blow them out of the water! Just over three months in the club and we’re already looking at an Amethyst Kukri, Astralis has set a breakneck pace that shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. In the short time since we first met Astralis and welcomed into the clan we have found him conducting himself like a veteran member of Plagueis, as comfortable within our ranks as if he has been here for a decade!

Since his last recognition, Astralis has participated in 54 competitions with placements earned in a whopping 36 of them to earn 2 Crescents with Diamond Star, 11 with Ruby, 6 with Amethyst, 13 with Sapphire, and 4 with Emerald. He has touched on just about every aspect of the club from writing over 7500 words in fictions and RPs, to an impressive 26 gaming activities and even adding another degree to his continually growing education in the Shadow Academy. This insane amount of activity has also brought with it 15 Clusters of Ice, 160 Clusters of Graphite and 266 Clusters of Fire as well as 12 society rank ups with 1 in the Aurora Collegium of Sciences and in the Envoy Corps as a participant, 2 in the GMRG, 3 in the Inquisitorius and 4 in the Shroud Syndicate. Not satisfied with just participating in competitions, Astralis’ activity in the club isn’t just limited to consuming. Organizing competitions is something that normally takes members a while to dip their toes into and even longer to get comfortable running them with any frequency, but not for Astralis. He has been working like a mad scientist in his lab concocting all sorts of experiments for the brotherhood in the form of 20 competitions organized and 10 more co-organized. What would normally take members years, has taken Astralis mere months.

Always active, always looking for more to do and always encouraging other members to participate and get active, Astralis has become a pillar of Clan Plagueis, a leader without the title; he has even earned a scroll of the master for his help in guiding one of his own apprentices to the ranks of Knighthood! I am incredibly proud of Astralis and completely unsurprised that he has already earned an Amethyst Kukri. These are the moments that make being a leader worth it, being able to watch members grow, watch them succeed, watch them find themselves and in some small way congratulate them on being the awesome person that they are. It is an absolute honour to be able to congratulate Astralis on a well deserved award!! I hope this shiny, stabby thing conveys at least in some small amount how much we appreciate all of your hard work!

It’s one thing to be blessed with the honor of writing a recommendation for a former Grand Master, but it’s an even greater privilege to write one for his better half. Ashia is one of those rare people you can’t help but be drawn to. She’s a true force of nature in this community, not just through her competitive spirit, but in the way her presence uplifts those around her. Her energy is infectious, and our Clan is unquestionably stronger with her among us. Always willing to help anyone who asks, Ashia is also the go-to authority on Nightsisters and their mystic arts.

When it comes to competitions, she’s not one to be underestimated. Ashia can absolutely hold her own, and her artistic talents are second to none, her creativity shines both on paper and in the broader life of the Clan. The Proconsul has already laid out the impressive list of her accomplishments since her last recognition, but I want to highlight one quality that makes her truly irreplaceable: her gift for bringing people together. Ashia has a way of making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. I’ve bounced more ideas off her than I can count, and I know I’m far from the only one. That ability to serve as a sounding board and unifying presence is rare, but then again, Ashia isn’t just a member. She’s a Daughter of Sadow.

It is with great honor that we can present this award. Ashia Kagan Keibatsu, you have achieved the required 11,533 Medal XP and earned the Amethyst Kukri. Congratulations and thank you for everything you continue to bring to our Clan!

Adept DarkHawk Sadow, 2025-09-25 00:10:07 UTC
Additional reasons

A hundred and twenty six. Since her last recognition, that is the number of competitions that Ashia has participated in. That’s a monumental feat, and for those comps, she’s earned a pretty big stack of medals. Over two hundred various clusters, forty crescents, including one with a Diamond Star. These served as fuel for her rise in several of our societies, from the Envoy Corps and the Inquisitorius to the Shroud Syndicate, Ashia’s gained twelve ranks in societies altogether. That’s a pretty healthy body of work.

Above and beyond that, Ashia has always been around for members to bounce ideas off of. Naturally, I tend to make the most use of this, but I’ve seen her in animated discussions with Bentre and Tasha’vel, Darkhawk and Hades, and just about everyone else, despite her relative quietness in our open channels. That sense of community, engaging beyond the superficial, making genuine friends is a key part of what keeps our members coming back for more, and I’m always pleased to see more of it.

It’s been a moment since I’ve had the pleasure of writing up a recc for Ashia, to put into words the pride I have in her, the thanks for the work she’s done, and to encourage her to ever greater heights. We’re all made better by her efforts, clan and club alike, and I am enthusiastic about her heightened engagement once again. As a token of esteem, I’m very pleased to put my words behind this Amethyst Kukri, a sacramental weapon that she has yet to have been awarded. Thank you, for all that you have done, and for all that I am sure that you will continue to do.

Is there anything I can say about the Hothfather that hasn't been said at this point? From being a consistent voice in the gaming community, dragging folks across the club into activity, kicking and screaming at times, to being a vocal advocate for Clan activity and advocating for the newer members of Clan Odan-Urr, I could not have expected anything more than what I received from him.

Edgar's activity is something to speak about: In the last six months, this man has racked up 262 competition participations (228 if you discount the container competitions), 200 gaming activities, 7 fiction activities, including 1 regular fiction with 1,104 words and 6 roleplays totaling 3,887 words. He's increased 4 ranks in the Shroud Syndicate and another 4 in the Envoy Corps as a participant, for a total of 8 Society Rank increases, served as M:FIST for 5 months, and earned a Silver Nova, 4 Crescents with Diamond Stars, 13 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 18 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 21 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 15 Crescents with Emerald Stars, 6 Crescents with Topaz Stars, a Crescent with a Quartz Star, 1,521 Clusters of Fire, 12 Clusters of Ice, 258 Clusters of Graphite, and a Seal of Loyalty.

Oh, and somewhere in the middle of all of that, he found time to take, and pass, a Shadow Academy Course.

We're not going to talk about how this man has earned himself two Ruby Scepters in the last year for gaming and beating Tisto into submission, either.

In his five months on the Fist staff, Edgar Drachen has approved over 172 gaming activities and organized the monthly [FIST] competitions, coordinating with fellow staff to ensure their success. He has been an active voice for improvement, contributing ideas and supporting the Cluster Review Project by updating times and monitoring activities.

Beyond staff work, Edgar is a constant presence in the gaming community, frequently hosting and joining matchmaking parties and driving participation by making himself available to play nearly any game with anyone. His efforts have significantly supported both the Fist staff and the broader gaming community, and I am pleased to recommend him for this Amethyst Kukri.

Len is one of those members who you don't hear as much as you feel. A constant presence in COU, Len's presence is often marked with short bursts of chatter amid a sea of activity. Constantly pushing competitions, taking part in one activity or another, and offering a hand in the background to keep things moving onward, he has been one of the gears keeping the perpetual march of the Clan and Club going.

A former Summit member of Odan-Urr, Len has, time and time again, offered assistance to the current leadership. From matters of support for our new members attempting to find their footing, or with questions about how to run competitions, Len has offered wise counsel. Just as well, with our more experienced members, Len has offered experience and first-hand information about previous issues that plagued COU. This perspective has helped us avoid many mistakes and given us insight into issues that have plagued the clan even to this day.

This award is one of many Len has earned, and certainly only one of many more to come. Ever onwards, Len!

Chronicler Wolfe, 2025-08-24 23:56:36 UTC

Over the past eight months, Len Iode has provided consistent and reliable service as a member of the Fist staff. During this time, he has approved more than 150 gaming activities, ensuring members received timely recognition for their efforts.

In addition to his regular staff work, Len has made significant contributions to the Brotherhood’s resources. He has updated and maintained several Fist-related Wikipedia articles, including the Supported Games page, Awards page, GMRG page, and has consistently updated the Council Guardsmen Accessories page each quarter. His work has kept these resources accurate and useful for both staff and members.

Len also contributed game times for multiple titles as part of the Cluster Review Project, supporting the Fist staff’s effort to maintain fair and accurate award values across all supported games.

These efforts show Len’s dedication to the club’s gaming community and his commitment to keeping its resources current and reliable. I am pleased to recommend him for his first Amethyst Kukri

Len is a long standing member, and truly a "do everything" kind of member within Clan Odan-Urr. He tackles effectively any possible activity on the website and be it art, gaming, fiction, or roleplay, will take at stab at any of them.

To account for his accomplishments in the Societies alone, Len has risen up six ranks: One rank in the GMRG One rank in the ACC and a grand total of Four ranks as a participant in the Envoy Corps.

Even beyond this though, Len has been toppling courses in the Shadow Academy, with eight courses passed in this short time, and another degree to his name.

But then we have the competitions atop of this - Having organised and run three competitions, and then joining in with another one hundred and thirty-four as a participant.

Throughout all of this he has earned (bear with me for a moment):

Two Crescents with Diamond Stars, two Crescents with Ruby Stars, six Crescents with Amethyst Stars, eleven Crescents with Sapphire Stars, six Crescents with Emerald Stars, five Crescents with Quartz Stars, nine hundred and three Clusters of Fire, eight Clusters of Ice, fourteen Clusters of Graphite, two Scrolls of Foundation, one Seal of Loyalty

And to cap all of this off, most of this activity was carried out while serving as a Magistrate to the Fist.

The numbers speak for themselves, and I am very happy to recommend Len be awarded an Amethyst Kukri to recognise all he has done.
