Warlord Tasha’Vel Versea is a constant reminder of what a leader is. As Aedile of House Shar Dakhan, she and the Quaestor are on a never ending quest to improve the Clan and their House.
Tasha is no slouch when it comes to competitions and kicking butt. Since her last recognition she has organized/Co-Org’d nineteen competitions, participated in eighty nine and amassed two hundred and sixty two gaming activities. Pretty impressive numbers if I do say so myself. Adding to that Tasha has amassed an even more impressive amount of medals during the same time period. A total of thirty four Crescents, twenty four hundred and forty six Clusters of Fire. Yes, that number is correct. Five Clusters of Ice followed by another staggering total of seventeen hundred and eighty four Clusters of Earth. She also earned three Clusters of Graphite and one Seal of Loyalty. These numbers are just a small snapshot of how her presence is felt across the Clan.
During her time as Aedile she and the Questor organized the Going Viking Event for the Clan. When she is not furthering House development, Tasha has ventured off to assist the Club in many different roles. She has had positions as an Appeals Panelist within the CoJ. Currently she holds a position as the Magistrate to the Voice. Tasha is always looking to give back to the Club in a plethora of ways. Always setting the example, leading from the front. She is a valuable asset to the Clan and I am honored to call her a friend.
During the War she was ever present assisting folks with proofs for fictions and encouraging our folks to partake in comps. Besides all that, she showcased herself by competing in every competition bin. To top all her GJW activity off, the Warlord garnered herself a Silver Novae for the GJW Cluster race. She racked up an impressive twenty five hundred and thirteen points for supported gaming. Then added another four hundred and seventy two points in the casual gaming arena. Handidly claiming her coveted medal. Her list of accolades continue to add up and impress everyone within the Clan. She is a proven force to be reckoned with.
Her accomplishments say a lot about her. But her pureness and devotion to the Clan is deafening. This is just a small token of the Clan’s appreciation for everything you do. It is with great pleasure to be able to present this award to you! Well deserved!

It seems that it is once again time to recognise one of our own. Qormus has continued to be the most dependable and consistent member of the Plagueis summit throughout the last five months, making his presence felt throughout the recent Great Jedi War. Since his last activity award recognition on February 28th, Qormus has been both a competitive force as well as a solid leader.
Currently, he has entered a staggering 137 competitions since his last recognition, earning Crescents of literally every stripe. His 12 Diamond, 13 Ruby, 9 Amethyst, 14 Sapphire, 5 Emerald, 5 Topaz, and 1 Quartz crescents have seen him place in 59 of his 137 competitions, with some Great Jedi War entries yet to be judged. He has also earned 6 Clusters of Earth for his gaming efforts to go along with 42 Clusters of Graphite for his graphical arts. He even collected 3 Clusters of Ice for his 1,249 words of fiction.
Additionally, he has been irreplaceable as a member of the Summit, leading House Ventress throughout the year and with great impact during the recent Vendetta. He has released his Clan reports on time every month (save for one suspended during the course of the Vendetta to focus on the War itself), and has constantly been a visible part of our Discord presence. He ran a warm up event consisting of 10 competitions, The Great Aliso Spring Clean throughout the month of April to help prepare for the Great Jedi War. Most importantly he himself came up with an action plan to implement along with his subordinates to focus on one on one engagement with the members of his House, by far the most productive type of Summit interaction. Without his work, Plagueis would not be in the position it is in today. You have my thanks. And this Amethyst Kurkri.

Xantros’ latest six-month term in the Shadow Academy has been extremely valuable to both the Academy and the Brotherhood, as a whole. Xantros came to the position with the idea to host the monthly Mysteries Explained competition series and helped ensure that those ran faithfully – including five parent competitions, each with three smaller competitions of fiction, graphics and a puzzle. He also went the extra mile to create the prompts and rules for a sixth parent and its sub-competitions to make it easier for his replacement to hit the ground running.
Xantros also took on the role of creating and hosting the live Shadow Academy trivia on Discord, which involved selecting topics, writing 20 questions and multiple-choice answers around that topic and finding and formatting a few images for each round to use with the trivia. While these were initially planned as monthly competitions, he stepped up as it became more popular and helped us run them more frequently, for a total of eight during his term.
In addition to running competitions, Xantros also worked to lay the groundwork for six new courses, some of which will ultimately become a new intel-focused combat degree (one he even started prior to his term in a non-staff role just to help the SA). Those six course drafts include a great deal of research and synthesis of information on some niche topics, over 10,000 words of course notes, 86 exam questions and a ton of links to relevant material!
Though he would modestly deflect and call it simply “madness,” this kind of initiative and effort, some of which he completed in the final days of his term simply due to inspiration and motivation, exemplify Xantros’ commitment to help better the Brotherhood by continuing to produce new and interesting content for its members. It is for this reason that I am honored to recommend Xantros for his third Amethyst Kukri, and thank him again for his faithful and exceptional service to the Shadow Academy.
Congratulations, Xantros!

Reiden Palpatine Karr, the Puzzle Master extraordinaire, is one of the most consistently active and engaged members of Clan Scholae Palatinae. He is an amazing example of how a senior Equite can show leadership by example in this club through regular activities and various forms of giving back to the Clan and club community. Since their last recognition a few months ago in January, 2022, Reiden has completed a staggering 142 competitions of various types which, it should be noted, has earned 1.21 million credits for the Clan. For his puzzling and other efforts he has earned an absolutely incredible 95 Crescents (48 Diamond, 27 Ruby, 5 Amethyst, 11 Sapphire, 3 Emerald, and 1 Quartz) or, in other terms, a Crescent earned for 67% of his total competitions since his last recognition. Reiden has also earned 153 Clusters of Graphite and 2 Clusters of Ice for 999 words of roleplaying fiction activities.
Yet as I mentioned before, Reiden doesn't only focus on over-achieving via conventional activity; he also focuses on giving back through formal and informal leadership experience. Since his last recognition he has served for 3 months as both a Magistrate to the Voice and as an effective and active member of the Scholae Palatinae Summit in the position of Rollmaster, the latter of which I can speak to. During the last three months Reiden has gone well beyond the scope of this position and has assisted both the Consul, myself, and the Quaestors in various ways. Most obvious and notable is that Reiden is a reliable and encouraging contact and mentor for our Journeymen and other junior members. He remains consistently apprised with their activity and progress via email and DM, helps identify pathways for success and recognition for these members via personalized plans or encouragement to participate in competitions or other activities, and will assist the Quaestors in issuing recognitions and tracking activity across both Houses something he is happy and eager to assist with. For example, on the Consul's request, Reiden created a document which identified which members had not yet received certain award types and contributed to plans to help encourage these members to achieve greater recognition in the future through certain activity types they prefer. He also maintains the traditional function of the Rollmaster, updating our contact lists and other members lists regularly, making sure the Summit maintains good lines of communicate with memers. And lastly, Reiden is an exceptional Summit member who has become more decisive in recent months and contributes specific and useful advice whenever the Consul or myself are looking for input, including contributions to our Clan competition roadmap, lore discussions, and more. We value his pulse with the membership dearly to make informed decisions.
I also want to conclude this recognition by reflecting on his informal leadership. Reiden is a solid presence in our Clan, and a person that everyone looks up to in terms of both activity and general member disposition. He is respected, well liked, and dishes out reciprocal encouragement and respect for others in return. This informal leadership, of both leading by example and in fostering a welcoming and active Clan community, cannot be overlooked.
I am so fortunate to be able to recommend Reiden for this award. It is well earned, and I am so excited to see what the coming weeks and months have in store from our favourite Puzzle Master. Congratulations on this well-earned achievement, Reiden!

It takes a very special type of person to serve as a Praetor. Praetors are the second in command of a staff section, and are ready to take the reigns in the absence of a Dark Councilor. Praetors do a great deal of work in the background, almost always outside the auspices of what the site tracks as formal activity. They are the silent professionals who make the job of the Dark Councilor easier due to their tireless effort in keeping the trains running on time.
Aldaric is that type of Praetor.
Since my return to the helm of the Fist office, Aldaric has been an instrumental part of a number of sweeping reforms that have truly altered the landscape of gaming in the club today. Aldaric helped to plan the addition of Casual Gaming, a mode that helped breathe new life into the community and a massive increase in new gamers playing with other DB members. He led the charge in implementing the recent changes to the Rites of Combat and the removal of the legacy PvP system. He helped me to identify new games for addition, co-developed the guidelines for Magistrate terms, and provided critical input to the roles and responsibilities of the newly minted SWTOR Tribune position. There is so much more he has accomplished during his tenure as Praetor, but these very recent highlights speak directly to his dedication and work ethic, as well as his commitment to provide nothing but the very best for the members of this club.
With all that, he never let his normal duties slide. Aldaric is my primary go-to person for onboarding new Magistrates, guiding them through the standards for gaming submissions, approval timelines, and competition management. In just the past six months alone, the Fist office has run over 30 competitions, onboarded four new magistrates, and processed the approval of in excess of 1029 activities providing clusters of earth and fire for 159 unique participants.
I am extremely proud of everything Aldaric has accomplished so far as Praetor, and I look forward to seeing everything he will accomplish in the future.
Congratulations on your first Amethyst Kukri, Aldaric. Thank you for all you have done. You truly made my job as Fist easy!

Qormus is without doubt the most consistently excellent summit member I have served with in a damn long time. He's a member that is both incredibly active in his own right as well as being there to provide for his membership without pause. Most importantly, unlike a lot of folks that see a position and just continue marking time with their tasks, Qormus is a member that is always looking to learn more about his job and the functions of the Brotherhood around him in order to better serve his members, House, and Clan. His contributions are invaluable, and do not go unnoticed.
Since his last recognition in the form of his promotion to Equite 2 he has amassed a personal activity record second to none. He has participated in 105 total competitions and been awarded 24 crescents (1 Diamond, 4 Ruby, 5 Amethyst, 6 Sapphire, 5 Emerald, 1 Topaz, and 2 Quartz) for those entries, maintaining a placement ratio of nearly 25%. He's passed three of the Shadow Academy's courses and earned himself a Shadow Academy degree. He's pulled in 51 Clusters of Earth and 69 Clusters of Graphite for his gaming activities. Heck, he even earned one of the last Legions of Scholar the Brotherhood would ever award to boot.
But, while his activity as a member consuming content is excellent, it certainly pales in comparison to his work as a leader providing for others. He has organized 43 competitions over the last four months, and all of those as the primary organizer. No co-organizer work here padding stats. He has released his monthly reports with absolute clockwork regularity, all four of his reports dropping at the stroke of midnight site time on his assigned day. He sends out weekly competition updates to his House as well each Friday listing competitions for the membership that are available for their weekend consumption all sorted by type. He's jumped on engaging with the newly-assigned member to his House as well, making sure to strike while the iron is hot.
Qormus is the kind of Quaestor that every Consul wishes they had. I have no doubt that he will be hitting the next advancement milestone on his journey through the Equite ranks soon. But, in the meantime, I offer him this sacramental award in recognition of his unceasing work for his fellow Plagueians. Congratulations!

Since earning a Sapphire Blade as CSP Proconsul six months ago, Kamjin (better known as "Other Mav") assumed the mantle of Consul and helped kick off a sort of renaissance for the clan. He's organized 19 competitions and participated in a whopping 109 comps himself, earning dozens of crescents, 173 CFs, 348 CEs, 44 CIs (for nearly 20k words of fiction), and 39 CGs. Notably, CSP was the only clan to end 2021 larger than it began the year, and I don't think there's any doubt that Kamjin's hard work and good attitude played a role in that accomplishment.
Congratulations on the AK, old man!

Kamjin, or Other Mav—for we shall never faulter so much as to allow his reclamation of the name—has been an incredible asset since joining the Chamber as one of my Hands. From the onset, he has taken his role of "member defense" to heart, going so far as to challenge the Chamber on more than one occasion to ensure complete certainty and even taking the initiative to reach out to members that are eligible to request the removal of their Letter of Reprimands to inform them as such. Now, this of course never guaranteed removal, but it was a proactive measure to better the experience of the members involved. That shows his member-focused attitude, which has been a great asset to this office. He has continued to be a measured voice in our discussions, refusing to believe anything until all the facts are laid out and always allowing for the "maybe" until there was no question remaining.
That's what I appreciate about Kamjin. He is a walking reality check. It keeps the office balanced and the focus where it should be. The Chamber, as we see it, is not meant to be punitive. It's meant to be preventative. Sometimes that doesn't work out, but he's always trying to make sure we are functioning in a manner that helps stop problems before they ever become something case-worthy. I'm glad to have that presence, and I'm glad to offer my praise and recognition to this award. Congrats, old man.

Wally’s dedication to Arcona is unparalleled. Every action he takes is for the betterment of the Clan and the members who make it up. He is constantly working to make sure the members have a rewarding experience while they are here. He takes the time to work closely with leadership to ensure they are doing their jobs and know-how to effectively do so. I can always rely on him as a friend, a mentor, and an Elder DB’er.
Since his last time being rewarded for his achievements, Wally has organized 10 competitions. He has also participated in 169, winning crescents for his efforts (4 Amethyst, 4 Sapphire, 3 Emerald, and 2 Topaz). He has passed 4 SA courses. He has taken part in 8 PVP matches, 5 PVE matches, and has finished 8 ACC matches. He has also written taken part in 33 Fiction activities writing a total of 92,953 words of fiction. For his hard work, he has been awarded 8 Clusters of Fire, 28 Clusters of Earth, 247 Clusters of Ice, and 76 Clusters of Graphite. Hw has also been awarded 2 Legions of the Scholar and a Seal of Loyalty!
Wally was a full participant in both the last Great Jedi War and the last Rite of Supremacy. He made an outstanding effort to participate in each and every competition in both events! He earned 30 Seals of Visions and 28 Seals of Enmity. He also placed in several of those competitions earning 2 Gold Novae, 2 Silver Novae, and 3 Bronze Novae. He was named Third Hero of the 14th Great Jedi War!
Wally has been the Battleteam Leader of the Voidbreaker for the past 11 months. During that time he has taken painstaking care to ensure his members receive the fullest of his attention. He has run several RP’s and they’ve been highly rewarding for his members and successful in their job of driving our activity numbers. Wally’s work on the RP’s has been a cornerstone in teaching us how to effectively run them, and keep the members engaged.
He has also worked very closely with his Quaestor and Aedile’s. He teaches them and mentors them, utilizing years of experience and knowledge in running Houses and Clans. He has a tracking system that he designed to gauge and keep track of his member’s achievements and reward them when they’ve earned them.
I am incredibly thankful to have Wally on my team. He has been a pleasure to work with and I look forward to spending more time working alongside him on my Summit. There are few other people in this club that I believe truly cares about the members to the levels that he does. Wally, I happily award you this Amethyst Kukri! Thank you for everything you have done for this Clan.

Wally/Zig/Marick has been an invaluable and endlessly enthusiastic Battleteam Leader, showcasing that no matter your relative position on the CoC, with drive and attitude, great things can be made! During his tenure (thus far), he’s really worked hard to drive up engagement within House Qel-Droma, especially in the field of Roleplay. As a literal pioneer in this field, he’s consistently run games and helped shape the mechanics of this new way of engagement which has, in my humble opinion, revolutionized how our membership interacts fictionally and led to some great character growth!
Further, he has worked tirelessly to document and expand the fictional impact of our members’ creativity, maintaining and expanding the Voidbreaker II’s crew roster and wiki-page. Never one to stick to tradition for tradition’s sake, he’s delighted us with new and more in-character flavored Battleteam reports (including Zig’s fanfiction corner), and his work as administrator of the finest Battleteam I have seen has been nothing but exemplary.
Despite his own and oft-repeated words to the contrary, he seems utterly incapable of just sitting in the sidelines. With great bemusement, often not an hour after exclaiming he’s taking his hands off the wheel and just letting things happen, does he come up with some new suggestion or engaging proposition, constantly poking and prodding both the Summit as well as the House membership to drive engagement in an enthusiastic and constructive fashion.
For his continued service, I am pleased as punch to support this curvy award for our not-so-straight Zygerrian Catpain!
Aedile Tali Sroka, 2022-01-09 16:15:55 UTC
Wally has been a constant mentor to me, a Senpai in the DJB who has taught me valuable lessons, not only in here but in life too.
He’s been a great friend for the almost 3 years I’ve known him. With him, I learned to always go PLUS ULTRA in vendettas and that “Any entry is better than no entry”.
He supported me through the last RoS, keeping not only me but many of his BTL members motivated, and even helping me in making sure I could get an entry to every competition without fail. Massive thanks for that.
As Voidbreaker’s BTL, Wally has done an outstanding job keeping the roster organized and active in chats and doing competitions. His work with the Exarch to make RP an accepted activity helped a lot of our members get Clusters of Ice when they normally wouldn’t, which is a massive plus in which it generates activity within the Clan.
Thank you for being a real friend Wally. One that teaches with patience and always tells the truth, not one who softens the blow so as to not hurt the others. I hope I can continue to learn with you for many more years!
I am more than happy to support this recommendation!
Dr. Aru Law, 2022-01-09 16:16:09 UTC
Since I’ve joined the Brotherhood, Wally has been one of my rocks not only keeping me focused, but always encouraging me to chase the goals I have whether it be IRL or for the DJB.
The lessons I’ve learned from him are undoubtedly invaluable. It’s because of his nudging I made another go at leadership! He is an awesome Battleteam Leader and is a delight to work with!
Congrats Wally, you deserve it!
Sebastian Vasca, 2022-01-09 16:16:55 UTC
Wally has been a guiding hand of persistent belief for every one of Arcona. Not only does he regularly ensure that everyone under his stead is checked in on, he maintains documentation, offers help whenever he can and has been an amazing BTL over the last several months. In running several Roleplay missions, before and since the new implementation of it officially within the club, he has maintained consistent member activity and enjoyment. Through my time within the club I’ve found myself often going to him for proofreading and advice on applications, fictions, and proposal emails. He is truly non-stop in his efforts and encouragements, allowing me to take part in a BTL report and ensure that when the day comes I need to write one I would know what to do. His experience and guidance have shaped my progression in the club.
I am more than proud to be working beside him for the next year as Rollmaster and thus, enthuwusiastically recommend him for the Amethyst Kukri!

Since his last recogntion, Terran “Vic” Koul has been a steady pillar of Arcona’s Arconae, serving the Clan as Aedile, Quaestor, and Proconsul for a total of over two years. In addition, his service has been to the Club as a whole, with over 5(!) years of Magistrate work for the Senechal. He has worked tirelessly for our benefit, but also as an individual, with 25 (co-)organized comps and 83 participations, for which he’s earned 843 Clusters of varying kinds and a palette of Crescents as well.
As an extra note, it should be mentioned that most of the organized competitions came from running two episodes of Clan Arcona’s “Sins of the Past” -storyline. In addition to the mere competitions themselves, he was thus responsible for organizing the plotline and co(ercing)-ordinating the efforts of multiple writers to craft a singular storyline.
Whenever Arcona has gone to War, Terran has been there for us, earning 39 Seals from the last four Vendettas alongside 4 Novae for his stellar performance. It thus cannot be said he hasn’t been giving it his all when the Clan needed him the most.
During the past while that he has been working for Arcona, Vic has truly been a fundamental force for the Clan, and especially House Qel-Droma. For a fact, we still use the Activity Tracking sheet which he pioneered, helping us to keep track of our members’ activities and working them towards Awards and Promotions.
Further, he drafted a training document (Responsibilities and Expectations for Summit Positions) to help with the teaching of new leaders, aiding in the immensely important task of legacy planning. He was also creating a Rollmaster’s Guide, further showing his commitment to institutionalizing formal leadership documentation, even if the position is of now getting mothballed.
In his tasks in Clan leadership, Terran has offered invaluable insight in forming the AEF/DDF into its current shape, his deep knowledge in all things Fleet related having always been at our disposal. His leadership style encouraged subordinate activity and responsibility, giving independent tasks for people to use their own creativity to accomplish—in accordance with the best tenants of delegation. Indeed, he spent the last six months of his tenure as Quaestor making sure his Aedile and BTL were up to the task of replacing him, showing his dedication to longevity of both House and Clan.
In the trenches of the Wiki Wars, he oversaw the Arcona Article Improvement Program. There, he oversaw, coordinated, approved and made suggestions on everything Arcona wiki related for close to a year and a half. As a massive part of the previous, he revised and organized the Clan's personal timeline, summarizing major events and laid them out for ease of access to the newbies. The sheer amount of long-beard consulting, email un-dusting, and lost holocron hunting that was required for this task beggars belief…
For all of these efforts, and the daily ones which so often slip through the cracks, I am honored to recommend Terran be awarded an Amethyst Khukuri as recognition of his service to House and Clan.

Terran Koul truly is an asset to Arcona. I have had the opportunity to work closely with him during my tenure as BTL of Voidbreaker, and I can say unequivocally that he has a leadership style that is unlike any other. He is very knowledgeable, and does not hesitate to share his insight with others. He readily provides support and guidance to those who are new to leadership. He is in many ways an excellent project manager. It is for these reasons that I am happy to lend my voice in support that Terran be awarded the Amethyst Kukri! Congratulations, Terran!
Lucine Vasano, 2022-01-08 23:40:11 UTC
Terran Koul, better known as Vic to some, has been a backbone of the Arconan summit and Arcona as a whole for, and I mean this quite literally, the last decade (2011). I only get to talk about a small part of that service, but it is still an important and vital part.
Vic was always at hand and on duty to help, even before I was an Aedile and when I became Consul. While it may be hard to define what an "advisor" is in metric, I can tell anyone that it involved discussing every topic that ever came up to the summit, offering solutions and playing devil's advocate to every problem, email chains in the double and triple digits and a boggling number of spreadsheets and midnight debates about spending credits and the merits of ship types and fleet allocations that I knew nothing about-- and a lot of other things. As Consul, I knew I could delegate any task involving data management or tool building to Vic and it would be done right away with more efficiency than almost anyone else could manage. He built activity trackers and award calculators and report templates. He taught myself and other rotating generations of the summit over the years wiki coding and Markdown even before the courses and often in place of the courses (because it's easier to ask). Most wiki tables on Arcona pages came from him.
As Quaestor during my Consulship, he cared for Qel-Droma closely and built out not only tools and updated wikis for them, refreshing a lot of old material and building from the ground up with his leadership team, but also tackled the Clan-wide plotlines and competitions with me in Sins of the Past, which others can also detail. This was a huge undertaking. He plotted out a year out of Clan plot by himself, created the Muun Species proposal in order to provide the CS for one of the first villains, created and ran those completions, created Star Wars story crawls for each sub competition and the main event (you can still watch them playing in gif format on Discourse), posted all the plot updates, and made sure all members who contributed to the fictions were credited and awarded bonus CIs for it.
Besides this, he also revised and updated the Arcona Fiction Timeline, wrote our Leadership guidelines, managed fleet planning as aforementioned, and stepped up to Proconsul after I retired to continue serving. He's done everything-- proofed every fiction or post, listened to every rant, been the voice of reason that kept our summit from going off the rails entirely at the worst of times. These are not reflected in numbers, but they are no less critical. It is why he is a title holder: because few have given so much for the Clan in service as he has.
Thank you for always being there and having our backs, Vic. For loving us more than our faults.

This is a gonna be a doozy, so grab your popcorn, a drink, and some reading glasses. Since joining the Regent Staff as my Praetor (a choice I was admittedly, a little cautious about given my expectations) on 21-10-21 Thran Palpatine has been nothing short of a machine. For the uninitiated, the Regent Staff has one of the steepest learning curves of any staff. You're thrown right in with the wolves, and often (as was the case with myself) have to adjust your thinking from a member/clan's point of view to that of the possessions system, a system that is custom tailored to our club, has its own nuances and inner workings and processes, and is a beast in its own right. It isn't always an easy transition, and can be overwhelming at first at the sheer volume of new information and processes hitting you in the face like a bat over and over again. Thran took this transition in stride, diving right into the material to move past the member/clan line of thinking and aligning himself with the possessions thought process quicker than most.
It's not far-fetched to say that without Thran, there's no way all of the content I'll detail in this recommendation, the releases, and the speed at which we are doing things would be the same. When Thran joined the staff as my Praetor, I told him he would need to put aside any bias he had towards his or any other Clan, and since then he has conducted himself with the utmost integrity in regards to his duties.
Thran's been involved in every single conversation we've had regarding staff projects since he joined us, and often contributed to every single one. He's offered his on everything opinions whether I've agreed with them or not, and has always tried to back up what he says with data (a staple of a Regent Staffer). He reminds me a lot of myself when I was Praetor to the Regent, having dived right into the work without expectation of reward or recognition, and although I've told him repeatedly not to burn himself out and take it easy, keeps on running through things to do.
Although he's only been on my staff a short time, I've gotten to know Thran quite well in our staff discussions and beyond. For project work, he's accomplished the same amount if not more in the same time span than I had as Praetor. Thran worked alongside Teebu on the Lightsaber Store, helping come up with both the name and description in our staff discussion, which was partial to yet still separate from Weapon Upgrades, his efforts for which I'll detail later on. After his work on the lightsaber store, Thran jumped right into helping me with the Clan Dominions project. Although he wasn't able to help with actual site implementation due to restrictions on his possessions admin access, Thran assisted in reviewing the details of all seven clan dominion. He hunted down inconsistencies and applied comments for additional clarification that even I didn't catch, and once we had all the information necessary, took it upon himself to transpose most of them (five clan dominions, each with multiple planets and moons) into a consistent possessions system language that ensured they all fit nicely and adhered to the policy details. He was a major contributor to that project, and the biggest reason why it was completed in such a timely fashion.
Thran didn't stop there, though. Following the implementation of Clan Dominions, he immediately jumped head first into the next task, a review of the now-implemented Artifact Policy. He checked it for dumb, made sure it was sensible, and proposed several edits to the document for additional clarification to ensure things would be more clear and easy to understand for the clans. Although he hasn't taken it upon himself just yet to jump into Clan Artifacts (which is mostly being handled through myself and Idris), I have zero doubt that it'll be any time now that Thran offers to help.
For Weapon Upgrades specifically, Thran assisted me in changing over all seven types of weapon categories from the modification aspects to new upgrade aspects. This involved going into every individual item prototype, deleting all of the old slots, and adding new ones for each type of upgrades. If you've never seen the list of aspect types to choose from, it's massive. It's a lot of scrolling, a lot of checking specific checkboxes that are tiny in a massive list, making it easy to make a mistake or two throughout the process. Thran made these changes to hundreds of weapon item prototypes across several categories, a painstaking effort that took the two of us several hours to accomplish in what was one of the biggest deploys of Regent content since possessions first launched. He stayed on point, asked clarifications where he needed to, and did an exemplary job considering it was his first release of any kind, doing a quick quality control check to double check his work.
This Palpatine has been working tirelessly on a major project that will be the biggest release to Clans in several years, the Planetary Assets project. Pretty well starting the project over from scratch, Thran has completed nearly every item prototype (including descriptions) present in our working document, everything from planetary defenses to orbital weapons to new space stations and shields. With consultation from Slagar to check for dumb and make sure his ideas are on track, Thran has proposed (and I have accepted) a slotting mechanic and its values for each prototype, set preliminary rarities, and is now working to come up with the pricing scheme for this major release of items. Pricing alone requires a lot of tweaking and consideration, finding the right medium that still remains in-line with the possessions system but sets the values at something the Clans will still want to purchase and make use of. While not implemented yet, I would solidly consider this project to be more than 80% completed and almost all of that is owed to Thran.
Even though his main focus right now is Planetary Assets, Thran hasn't let other projects sit or go un-worked during this time. He's been consistently contributing across everything he can. Thran has proposed seven new item prototypes and completed the descriptions and details for each one for our first real Booster Pack release even though the release is still a month out, helping speed along the process any way he can. On Armor Upgrades, Thran has already begun adding proposed upgrades and filling in their details, and is always on the hunt for new ideas.
In addition to all this work, Thran just recently co-organized the Regent Holiday Series with me, judging one competition on his own and three additional competitions as a co-organizer, and is pushing to have competitions from our office be a regular thing as a unique way of incentivizing activity and promoting the possessions system.
Thran is one of the most active and dedicated staff members I've ever witnessed, and at this time one of the most active members of the club in general. I'll let his Consul get into the nitty gritty of his achievements as a regular member, but will say since I can see his credit account: In the months since he's been back (under a year), Thran has amassed over 200,000 fresh credits into his account. That's almost a third of some people's net worth, and he's done it in months. Months. I am more than proud to be recommending Thran for this achievement, and I can't wait to see what else he has in store for the club as a whole.
