Primary reason

Erinyes has overseen a resurgence in Taldryan over the last year that has been truly impressive. Serving nearly a year as Clan summit member, Erinyes has displayed excellent skill in organizing and motivating her members, while also serving the wider Brotherhood as a Judge and Praetor to the Headmaster.

The Great Jedi War exemplified Erinyes’ leadership, where she was in constant contact with her members and lead Taldryan by example, completing all bins. Taldryan took 4th place this War, impressive given its relative standing in past events. Erinyes’ focus on engaging members has been extremely successful and Taldryan has seen its percentage of participating members essentially double since she took command.

But this medal will also cover a year of service to the Brotherhood as Combat Master more than a decade ago. During her tenure, Erinyes oversaw dozens of updated to ACC guides, numerous competitions, organizing several ladders for members of all skill levels, and running the ACC through major events like a RoS.

In terms of personal accolades, since her last medal, Erinyes has participated in 32 competitions and earned multiple Novae and numerous Crescents. She has earned an impressive 84 Clusters of Ice in that time, writing tens of thousands of words of fiction. She has been a whirlwind of personal activity since returning to the club, and we look forward to what she will continue to bring to Taldryan in the future. For all you have done, Erinyes, congratulations on your Amethyst Kukri!

Seraphol finished off his term as Headmaster with 8 months of activity that supported the ongoing Dark Council activities and established a roadmap for the office prior to his retirement. He ran monthly competitions that drove Shadow Academy activity with extra incentives in addition to overseeing retiring of old courses and changes to the halls and organization of content. He did this while setting up a long term plan for the office with his Praetor, now Headmaster succeeding him Ciara who hit the ground running to see immediate action. He supported a Clan Feud as a member of the Dark Council in the day to day Brotherhood activities like Star Wars Celebration or Clan feuds and other business requiring input and discussion. For all his dedication to his office and the role as a Dark Council member I strongly recommend he receive an Amethyst Kukri.

Additional reasons

Since his rejoining Clan Odan-Urr recently, I can honestly say that Sera has kept up the levels of activity expected of a senior member, and titleholder. His contribution in the latest Great Jedi War Homefront saw him encouraging new and older members through Telegram to participate and push the Clan further up the ladder. His own contribution netted him a Bronze Nova and 14 Seals, while overall he has participated in 22 and organized 17 competitions, passed 6 SA courses and earned 1 degree and well as graded 36 courses as part of his Headmaster work. He has earned numerous other minor awards to go with his sizable list of activities. For these reasons it is my pleasure to present Seraphol/Daniel Stephens with this award.

Primary reason

Xantros was a fantastic asset to the Shadow Academy during his service as Magistrate to the Headmaster for seven months – one month beyond his initial term commitment to help us transition between HMs. During that time, the professor of our Combat Department had to resign, so Xantros took on the role and volunteered to continue grading until we had a new professor hired, trained and comfortable in the job. Between his work as Magistrate and Professor, he graded 72 courses in a timely, thoughtful manner, providing good feedback and taking extra steps to bring errors or course improvements to my attention.

In all of my work with him during my time as Praetor, I found he was always quick to volunteer for projects and to assist his fellow Magistrate when necessary. He audited three courses to help us finish our audit, including suggesting and writing additional material for our Force Philosophy II course. He also took on the complete rewrite of our Grey Jedi Order Core to bring it in line with the club's shift to Force Disciples and authored the Shadow Academy Society course, which doubles as the society's wiki page! Beyond course work, Xantros was highly instrumental in the organization of the Shadow Academy's Shadow Feast competition – creating the fiction and rap battle competitions, as well as contributing to and co-grading all six competitions.

Finally, I'd simply like to recognize Xantros for his consistency and dedication. From course additions to catching errors, it was obvious he took time to look for ways he could contribute beyond what was asked of him. He was also a huge help to me as a sounding board in the ideas he would offer as well as his willingness to challenge mine!

In combination with his general activity and service to his House and Clan, which I will let them speak to, I believe he is deserving of this award and hope it will serve as a small token of my appreciation. :)

Additional reasons

For a long time, Xantros has dedicated himself to contributing to the DJB whether it be through participation and assistance with clan-related work or in the SA. Since his last recognition, he's participated in 65 competitions, passed 72 SA courses, received 154 clusters of fire, 15 clusters of ice, 9 clusters of graphite, and 8 scrolls of foundation. He also participated in a couple of GJW competitions.

Xantros has approached me a few times asking in what ways he can help the clan, and always tells me he is available to help in any way possible. He's still very active in the TG clan chat, always encouraging and supporting others. His drive to help others and the clan in general to excel is duly noted, and I cannot say enough how valued and appreciated he is to us. He is more than deserving of this award, and I continue to watch over his progress with admiration. Congratulations, Xantros! Keep shooting for the stars (if you haven't surpassed them already haha).

Blade Mistress Shadow Nighthunter, 2020-07-24 23:30:45 UTC

Xantros is a member constantly willing to give aid and advice to leaders. Just recently he sent Shadow and myself a report of his thoughts on why the Clan wasn’t doing so well. It came with analysis, problems, but most importantly it provided solutions. Any member who isn’t a leader and is willing to put time into their unit through concise analysis is deserving of reward. This is in addition to the activity that he has provided to our Clan and the example of what we hope all members could be in the Imperial Clan!

Congrats, Xantros!

Grand Master Declan Roark
Primary reason

Colonel Kenath Zoron is a founding member of Clan Vizla and is an example for all of our members. Zoron lives the Vizlsa creed by doing all the things, all the time, for all of the credits. His activity, ever since I’ve known him (estimated 18years) has been remarkable. Despite this, it is truly his candor, relaxed attitude, and normalcy that makes him a perfect fit in Clan Vizsla. He is what we want from all our members: a contributing, dedicated, and personable member that can be relied on as a friend and a Clan-mate.
It has been roughly a year since Zoron’s last Sacramental award and in that time he has earned the Clan roughly 1.3 million credits based on his activity. That activity has come in the form of organizing or co-organizing 26 competitions, participating in 125 competitions, playing and submitting 55 unique gaming events, writing over 4500 words of fiction, and taking 3 SA courses. Zoron’s work in these events have earned him a Diamond Crescent, 49 Ruby Crescents (what?!?), 30 additional lower competition crescents, 5 Pendants of Blood, 42 CFs, 15 CIs, 379 CEs, 22 CGs, and most recently 26 Seals of Vision! Zoron’s efforts in the War helped Vizsla secure second place and were a motivation to the Clan.

Additionally, Zoron has 10 months on the Fist Staff supporting the Brotherhood at large. Those stats are highlighted be the Fist below!

Congrats Zoron, this is well deserved.

Grand Master Declan Roark, 2020-08-04 19:54:59 UTC
Additional reasons

Zoron has been on the Fist staff as Magistrate since September of 2019. He has had excellent productivity in his role as Magistrate, approving 178 PvE and 24 PvP/O activities. He was also very prompt in addressing items in the queue and accurate in his approvals, which is the most important part of the Magistrate function. Additionally he hosted 7 monthly GMRG competitions during his tenure, always with the same promptness and attention to detail that he gave to queue administration.

I also want to thank Zoron personally for agreeing to stay on past his initial six month term. His presence gave the office stability during the on-boarding of a Praetor which helped ensure that our fellow club members saw no change to our service. Without the presence of an experienced Magistrate on the staff at that time we would have had a much more difficult start to this year.

In his role, Zoron was also quick to provide feedback on a wide variety of items in a professional manner. From questions on the queue and Fist policies to supported games updates and possible new platforms, Zoron was always a welcome addition to any discussion. His presence as an active gamer on the Fist staff will be missed not just for his administrative work but also for the insight he brings as a gamer withing our club.

Zoron, you are always welcome back to the Fist staff. Congratulations!

Kelly? Scudi? Liandry? Whatever her name is now, Kelly has been invaluable to Plagueis for several years. Most recently, however, she has returned to leadership, and a year later, she has shown me and every Plagueian how dedicated she is to the clan. I am honored to be recommending this Amethyst Kukri for her.

Since her last recognition, Kelly has organized 11 competitions, all of them for House Tyranus, our newest subunit. As the new house’s Quaestor, she has guided the fledgling unit in its first year, developing its lore and location through the use of competitions (getting feedback from members as a result) and wiki article writing. With the help of other members, Kelly wrote the Fort Dooku page for Tyranus, as well as worked with Julius to put out consistent monthly reports. Her presence on Telegram is one other leaders should practice, as despite the massive time difference, she is constantly around to help out clan mates and fellow summit members with questions and concerns. Most recently, she was instrumental in aiding members in completing their submissions and run-on posts for the Fourteenth Great Jedi War - essentially, whenever I wasn’t at the computer, she was there, proofreading entries and addressing concerns from our set-up teams and membership. She certainly shouldered a lot of the burden of mentorship this war, collaborating with my Proconsul and me, which I am insanely grateful for.

In terms of participation, Kelly has run the gamut and participated in an incredible 112 competitions, including 14 comps in the latest Great Jedi War, where she also earned a Gold Nova for her contributions to the clan-wide run-on. She has amassed a plentiful amount of shinies, including: Another Gold Nova, two Crescents with Ruby Stars, five Crescents with Amethyst Stars, four Crescents with Sapphire Stars, five Crescents with Emerald Stars, one Crescent with a Topaz Star, 181 Clusters of Fire, 24 Clusters of Ice, 79 Clusters of Earth, 39 Clusters of Graphite, two Scrolls of Foundation, one Legion of the Scholar, one Seal of Loyalty, and 24 Seals of Discord. I’d like to highlight two things specifically on that list: First of all, in gaming, Kelly joined the top ten GMRG gamers for the most recent quarter. Second of all, both those Scrolls of Foundation are for almost a year of service to the Shadow Academy. Case in point, her fingers are dipped into every facet of the Brotherhood, and it has aided its community tremendously.

Over the past year, I can safely say that not only has Kelly become a trustworthy leader and mentor, but she is also someone I can consider a friend. I expect her to do even more incredible things for Plagueis and beyond. Enjoy your Kukri, buddy!

Adept Malik Sadow completed his two year tour in the Star Chamber on 18 May 2020. Malik provided invaluable counsel to the Grand Master and the permanent members of the Star Chamber throughout this period. His tour included decisions focused on the long term health of the club, the succession plan of our Grand Master, and the confirmation of a Justicar. Malik's commitment to our club was displayed by the countless hours he spent in discussion with Star Chamber and we benefited greatly from his presence.

The Permanent Members of the Star Chamber (Jac/Sarin/Muz) are proud to award you a Amethyst Kukri.

Primary reason

Augur Farrin Xies Tarentae has served the Dark Brotherhood in a multitude of positions over his career ranging from the Battleteam Sergeant of Ravana Squadron to Headmaster of the Dark Brotherhood. Throughout this time he has distinguished himself as one of our finest members and his activity to this day remains an example for our club.

Since DEC of 2017 (last recognition) Farrin served six months as our Headmaster and an additional one year as the Right Hand of Justice (See the Justicar's Recommendation below mine). In these roles, Farrin provided nuanced guidance and advice. This included the maturity required to discuss the removals of Letters of Reprimand on our members dossiers, sorely needed updates to the way the Shadow Academy was run, and cogent (yet painful) discussion points on the closing of Clan Tarentum. Farrin's leadership across these facets of the Dark Brotherhood was invaluable to our Club.

As a participant, Farrin remains a consistent and dedicated member. He has participated in 47 competitions since his last award. This includes 166 separate gaming events, 1800 words of fiction, 3 Shadow Academy Courses, 3 Degrees earned, 42 courses graded, and earned a Bronze Nova, 3 x various Crescents, 1500 Clusters of Fire, 242 Clusters of Earth, 4 x Scrolls of Foundation, 1 x Scroll of the Master (Training the Superstar Appius Wight), and earning 22 various War Seals.

Farrin, thanks for all you do for our club. Your leadership and counsel has been invaluable.

Grand Master Declan Roark, 2020-04-03 16:31:45 UTC
Additional reasons

Farrin joined the Chamber of Justice almost a year ago and quickly made himself an indispensable part of the team. As Right Hand of Justice, Farrin assists in the investigation of all complaints received by the Chamber; he is also responsible for inquiring into suspected clone accounts when they are flagged by the website, which is a fairly frequent occurrence.

His most important duty, however, is as my adviser. I rely on Farrin for a fair and equitable evaluation of all issues presented to the Chamber. When asked for his opinion, without exception, Farrin has presented what he believes is the correct -- that is, fair, reasonable, just -- analysis of the case before him. And when cases proceed to trial, he is able to put aside his personal views and make the arguments necessary to fully prosecute a case. I couldn't ask for more in a Right Hand.

During his tenure, the Chamber has published a single decision. That does not adequately reflect the volume or quality of the work that Farrin does in his role, most of which happens behind closed doors and will never be shared publicly. Among various investigations and questions of Covenant interpretation that Farrin has assisted with, he also advised on Letter of Reprimand removal applications and on a clan's request to ban a member from transferring in. I am pleased and honored to be able to recognize his hard work and dedication with this recommendation for an AK.

Lord Dacien Victae, 2020-04-02 01:03:26 UTC

In the final months of his term as Headmaster, Farrin continued to be an excellent adviser and valuable member of the Dark Council, while fulfilling all of his duties as Headmaster. He oversaw a remodeling of the Shadow Academy on multiple fronts, from the launch of a new Wiki page, to structural changes to staff arrangements. He also took part in the more typical duties of the headmaster, such as overhauls of various courses, including working with two Justicars - Jac and Bubba - on new Law Department courses. He maintained an active staff, and he himself graded dozens of courses. But in that time, Farrin was also an extremely valuable adviser and an important member of the Dark Council. He was regularly among the first to offer suggestions or advice on discussions and his presence was missed when he left the Dark Council. In short, Farrin's last six months of service to the club were more than deserving of contributing to this Amethyst Kukri! Congratulations, Farrin!

Grand Master Declan Roark
Primary reason

Warlord Rulvak Qurroc (Warp) is one of the most active members in the history of the Dark Brotherhood. His activity is so high that it actually becomes easy to overlook the sheer volume he puts forward. He currently sits #1 all time in the club in Diamond Crescents, Pendants of Blood, Clusters of Fire, and Clusters of Earth (2 x more than #2). Since his last recognition of any type in our club (DEC 2018), he has participated in 63 competitions, played in 291 gaming events, written over 2600 words of fiction, passed an SA exam, earned 6 Gold/2 Silver/1 Bronze Novas, earned 33 various Crescents, earned 1454 Clusters of Fire (this alone puts him in the top 75 all time in the club), earned 1738 Clusters of Earth, earned 5 Clusters of Ice, and earned 22 Seals of Discord.

In addition to Rulvak's otherworldly personal activity, he has also served as a key leader in the creation and success of Clan Vizsla. Warp is a plank holder in Clan Vizsla and contributed to our foundational documents (https://drive.google.com/open?id=14r2-2yDPE5ZJgOHteZlf5-aHyjVrTiuL) and was a big part of why so many members came to Clan Vizsla (they like to game with him!). His direct involvement in our initial standby is a large part of why our Clan was approved.

Beyond his support to our creation, Warp has served in official leadership positions with Vizsla since its creation. This includes Battle Team Leader of Wren (4 months), the planned and successful precursor to House Wren. Warp's work to build a cohesive team, creation of House foundation documents (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TDwe2vT2SK4jOxpUF__ZAktmshzDe1W-A8-lzs4EgBg/edit?usp=sharing), and ability to generate interest in members directly resulted in the creation of House Wren. He has served as Wren's QUA for the past four months and has done an outstanding job bringing along new members and creating an environment that is generating activity. At present, the house has 4 new members under the rank of EQ1 who are active in Telegram, actively participating across a multitude of club activities, and generating buzz within Vizsla. A large part of this core young group's activity is Warp's dedicated support and involvement in their membership.

Warp has contributed to our club through his sheer volume of activity, through his leadership in getting a new House and Clan approved in the Club, and through ways that many of us often do not think about. A prime vignette of leadership through example is Warp's recent support to every Clan in the Dark Brotherhood during the Great Jedi War. During the GJW Warp offered his extensive gaming abilities to help power level members in Diablo, run members through TOR dungeons, guide players through random maps and character creation on Warframe, level members to play Dauntless, and teach old people like me how to load into Hearthstone and Overwatch. This sort of leadership through example should not be overlooked. In many instances Warp aided other Clans during the GJW because their members would have never been able to compete or complete gaming events in the manner they did without his support. He did this without being asked and did it in order to generate more club wide activity. This is a true example of "leadership" in our club because it was both selfless and directed at the Club vs his circle of friends or just our Clan.

Warp, you deserve this. Congrats!

Ronovi Tavisaen took on the role of Consul of Plagueis just ahead of the latest Great Jedi War, and before that spent fifteen months as Proconsul. During this time she has done an incredible job as a leader in her dedication to her Clan.

She organized or helped manage 41 different competitions, including part of the Naga Sadow / Plagueis event Antiquities and a series of competitions for the Clan to vacation on Mustafar. Creating opportunity and a great experience for members within the Clan. As well as participating herself in 181 different competitions, leading by example and serving as a role model for other members on activity.

As Proconsul, she has been a great communicator in her reporting out to the Clan via reports and other communications, and constantly inspires those in Plagueis to be more involved. In reviewing the 34 different reports since her last award, it’s clear that after five years away, she filled a much-needed role in the Clan as a mentor and leader. Working alongside Arden to develop the clan direction and story and make sure members are having fun.

As Consul, Ronovi rallied the Clan and pushed hard for activity. Working to inspire members of the Clan to stay active and keep them informed on what they could do. Helping members in any way possible participate to their best extent.

For all the great work building up the great community of Plagueis the past 17 months, I recommend Ronovi is awarded an Amethyst Kukuri. Congratulations!
