Most of her time back has been serving as House Ektrosis Envoy. For all her work in the Clan we request an Amethyst Kukri (AK) be awarded.<br> --------------------<br> <br> <br> There is little that can be said to describe Alanna and her role in our Clan besides she is one of kind and a true leader in every sense of the word. Alanna rejoined Taldryan last year after stepping down from the position of Krath High Priestess. Not too long after that she began working with the new members of House Ektrosis. Alanna has done a remarkable job just in the last 5 months or so making Ektrosis the leading House in the Clan with active new members, bringing the entire House to a much higher activity status. She is so much more than a simply email sender, she is an Envoy that helps any member with whatever they need, step-by-step, one rank up at a time. Alanna doesn't want to be considered leadership or part of any Summit just as Envoy, but she deserves recognition for all that hard work. In my mind she is right beside the rest of us, even more so at times.<br> <br> There is another great thing about Alanna that must be mentioned. Whenever we hit a major event like the recent Clan Feud and the current Great Jedi War, she steps up not only to participate in whatever possible, but also to guide and direct the members through it all. Alanna doesn't have to think about doing this, it's just who she is. She is a caring, supportive, and loyal member and deserving of our respect and appreciation. For all here time as Envoy, and her excellent performance in the Great Jedi War so far (top 10 in points), I recommend she be publicly rewarded for it. In her job as Envoy, she is in contact with countless numbers of new recruits. I have personally witnessed Alanna welcoming new members on IRC more than once, and I know she is in contact through email to all of the recent arrivals to Ektrosis. Welcoming new members isn't the only part of an Envoy's work, however. Working with the rest of the Clan Summit, Alanna has been instrumental in tweaking the Ektrosis promotion guide. In addition to all her work as Envoy, Alanna has lead by example in this recent GJW, holding on to an MVP spot for multiple weeks. It has been nearly a year since Alanna has been awarded anything for her work in Ektrosis, this is far too long! She is a great envoy; she has helped almost every member through our Dark Jedi Trials. Alanna helps all of our new people with any questions they have, and they have a lot of questions. She always brings problems in our Trials to us and helps us fix them. She is always willing to help anyone. She does a ton of work and is on IRC a lot, albeit I'm asleep at the time. She helped out a ton during the recent feud with Clan Arcona and has done a great job in the GJW thus far. She has been getting the members of the clan a good boost of energy with her emails and getting them to participate, this is a huge help. With out Alanna our summit wouldn't be nearly as good as it is now. I can't think of a better way to award her for all her hard and diligent work then giving her this Amethyst Kukri. Thank you so much Lannie, we appreciate all your hard work.<br> <br> Templar Chaosrain<br> Quaestor of Ektrosis<br> ___________________________________________<br> <br> <br> Alanna has taken a position that has been reinvented, re-designed and reinvented again because no practical use was found for it and used the position to do a great deal of good for Ektrosis. That position is Envoy. In the time that Alanna has held her position, she's maintained extremely high levels of dedication and activity. Her main task is to guide members of House Ektrosis from the rank of Initiate up through Guardian. While this sounds like a rather simple task, in reality it requires lots of tedious work. Her duties are mainly emailing members and making sure that any questions they might have are properly answered, they know what is required of them for the next promotion and things of that nature. Alanna is also extremely prompt, sending a new member a welcome email within hours of joining is the norm rather then the exception. Since before I joined this clan, he has constantly worked with each student, and he has an impressive track record. The current PCON of Naga Sadow was one of Muz's students, as well as DJK Ashia Kagan, one of CNS' more active members. Muz works with each of his students in a way that frankly amazes me, and hes one of the most active masters, so far as reporting in when requested, and keeping myself and the clan aware of what him and his students are upto, within the realm of the Master Student Program.<br> <br> Even having stepped upto the Dark Council as Herald, Muz continues to serve Naga Sadow as a Master, and it is my hope that he will continue to do so well into the future. For all his work, we reqest a promotion to the rank of Primarch (OPM). When I think of all the people in Taldryan that have been around, put in countless hours, and never asked for anything, one person jumps to the top of my list. I figured I've known Ben for around 2 years now, more so of course after taking the Aedile position in Dinaari under him. Benevolent has served as Aedile and Quaestor in Dinaari and now sits as Proconsul of Taldryan. How much has he given the Clan? More than I can describe here. At the beginning of last year he served the Clan well in the Krath Rite of Supremacy, helping us secure a victory. In March he moved up to Quaestor in Dinaari and kept on kicking. When we stepped into the massive Obelisk Rite of Supremacy last fall, Ben got involved and helped to pwn the competition and show that Taldryan was still king of the ring in the gaming arena. When Kir sadly moved on to Deputy Grand Master and Shadow moved up to Consul, it was obvious that it was Ben's time for Proconsul. Shadow and Ben made the perfect team. Both have always been able to work together through competitions, projects, and leadership. Once Shadow stepped down early this year, I moved up to Consul and I was lucky enough to have Ben stay on by my side. Since then he has been invaluable to me and the Clan. He has been our website master for who knows how long, fixing all our many problems, and adding this I need put it. He can always find something to improve on, add to, or just test. He continues his excellent work on the Clan newsletter, the Tal Times, which we are working on a new issue as we speak. When we had the Clan Feud with Arcona back in April Ben stepped up to participate in half the events and grade the others. This devotion made the Feud workout so smoothly. And lastly, here we are at the Brotherhood's largest event possible, the Sixth Great Jedi War. Right now after 24 of 39 events graded, Benevolent Taldrya Whiner stands at 9th place in the overall member standings. That's a great achievement, 9th out of 180 participants. We are currently in 1st as a Clan and wouldn't be here without Ben's commitment to the Clan. While Taldryan is full of incredible people that have all helped make us what we are today, Ben deserves the honor of being promoted today. I am not the best person to be writing recommendations, so I've only hit on the high points. There is so much more Ben does that all adds up to make him the great member he truly is. I really appreciate all he does and am glad to just be able to work with him day after day. Congratulations my friend well earned. For Taldryan, Obelisk Exarch Duga Taldrya Arkarso Consul and Son of Clan Taldryan Planetary Viceroy of Karufr Oh Benny boy, oh Benny boy, the bryars are calling. Er I mean, Ben has been one of the best damn members I have seen in a long time. Back before his glory days of being my personal bitch er Aedile. He was just one of those members you knew had it in them to go far. After Crix retired from Aedile under me I knew exactly who I needed to help me keep the House thriving. Ben fit in perfectly. He has that very distinct Taldryan-ish personality and we just clicked. This just made it all the easier for me when I needed a Proconsul of my very own. That was almost 9 months ago and hes still keeping things going for Duga. I think hes even managed to outlast both my PCON and CON time :P A lot of Bens effort goes on unseen as he does basically all our site work and we do have one of the nicest, most advanced clan/house website in the DB. He keeps things going, adding to it when things are needed and still managed to get in some JO bryars and CTF. (<3 playing CTF on Bens team). But, all that other stuff aside. The best reason for Ben to get this promo is simply this: His fucking amazing stickman comics. If you havent seen them youre missing out. Every Tal Times has a new one always about some hilarious event on IRC. My favorite is probably from the last GJW the Fuck you Arcona, we did blow up you shit I laughed my ass off after seeing that. We had allied with Arcona and told them we didnt have anything to do with the attack and then saved that til the end of the GJW. So much awesomeness. Anyways, Im starting ramble now getting on in years you know. Would just like to finish off saying, congratulations on Primarch, Ben. Truly well-deserved. ~ Shadow PS: Thanks for giving me my table, Ill forever be in your debt. Well what can I say about Ben? He almost never talks on IRC, he doesn't know how to respond to emails, and I highly doubt he knows what the MBs are for. Aside from that he's been a pretty good PCON. Ever since I was in Dinaari he's always the guy in the background keeping his mouth shut on just about everything and doing work on some web page or another. Proof of his work can be seen on our own Tal homepage, whether it be putting up new graphics or changing people's names towards lacking something Ben has done a wonderful job making our clan page look good. Just a short time ago Ben helped out to run the feud between Taldryan and Arcona. His participation helped out a lot and although he took forever to grade stuff I think most of the clan forgave him for it. Another big contribution Ben has made would be the Tal Times. The article written for our clan to provide humor on any number of situations is another illegitimate web child of Ben's work. Without him I don't think most of our web stuff would be where it is today. We wouldn't have a kick *ss home page nor humorous news like pages to entertain us. Ben's promo is long over due and I think it's high time to reward him. Congrats Benny boy! Kraval Novir QUA of Dinaari Ben is great, that is the easiest way to say this. It has been 14 months since he has been promoted. That is way to long for anyone, especially someone that does so much for his clan. Ben did a great job as QUA, and has done an even better job as PCON. He is always on IRC. Also he is usually working on some project for Duga. Ben keeps the Tal site going; he codes all the new stuff (there seems to be a ton of it) and makes sure everything works right for us; at least until someone manages to break it, i.e. me. Basically he is our own personally Codemonkey, and we love him for it. =P In the big competitions he is always does whatever he can to make sure we win. He did a great deal of work for the recent feud with Arcona. He graded half the stuff; he built a submission form for the feud and the Tal invitational. He always has something good for us to check out in the Tal Times. He even built the DGM site; that says a lot right there. Ben is a great guy that does a ton of work. Fourteen months is way too long for someone that does half as much as Ben does to go with out a promotion. Benny, you truly deserve this. Now all you need to is draw Stick-Hat-Bootman with some pimped out robes. Chaosrain Quaestor of Ektrosis While Ben is one of the less vocal members of the Taldryan summit, he is one of the best respected. He has served as Pro-Council for nearly a year now and while there is no single project or event that can be pointed out as the reason why Ben's service is invaluable to the clan, if you take all of the little projects and things that he has worked on since taking the position then you see that Ben is in need of recognition. Ben is the clan's webmaster; he designed, coded and maintains Taldryan's website. This is a rather thankless task, as most clan members do not realize when something has been changed on the site, but it is still a vital job. Ben also does a lot of work behind the scenes with the summit members that many non-summit members never hear about. However, I do feel he's been a low key member for a long time, and his contributions to the clan have been gradual and perhaps unnoticed. His participation in the GJW was that little bit that I think he needed to do to get his Knighthood. I hope Raven continues to do well to serve his clan in the future. Dark Adept Manesh Sadow Consul of Clan Naga Sadow Raven has been with us a long time- his time in Naga Sadow has been punctuated, unfortunately, by problems with Real Life that have made this promotion a long time coming. However, in the periods that Raven has been actively with us he has been enthusiastic, active and generally a great member- congratulating others, contributing to discussion and getting involved. I personally believe this promotion is well deserved. Congratulations, Raven! KE Nekura Manji Keibatsu Raven has been under my command for a long time now â as a battle team leader, Aedile, Quaestor, and even now. He has worked very hard on every project that he undertakes. We all agree that it is unfortunate that real life has pulled him away from time to time, but we all see the hard work that he has put into every single piece of graphics, every story, and every game that he plays. It is obvious the amount of time and energy he puts into this club, despite the fact that many of his mentors have disappeared due to their own real life items from time to time. Raven has been long overdue for his promotion. He has done a lot in this GJW, and in other events, and yet, due to the time that many things have spanned, he has never been fully recognized. He has completely recoded the Clan Website, Created House websites, served as a Battle Team Leader, and now taken on the roll of House Exar Kun Aedile. Bubba's commitment to improving Clan Plagueis by producing quality products has improved the overall conditions of Plagueis. His QUA has detailed his activity and adds the following: Recommendation for Battlemaster: BubbaX Ok, well, here we are talking about the seemingly almighty BubbaX, the coding god. All of his work on the websites alone is practically all one would need to have him promoted, but just as back-up Ill include everything else as well. Ill start with everything hes done publicly, or what you can see of him simply by looking on his dossier. BubbaX has been an active member since March, and it was in March that his last promotion came. As such, he has a lot of activity to report, probably enough to fill up a page, but Ill try to keep it as short as possible. He s been awarded forty-one Cluster of Fires for gaming, three Dark Crosses for his work on websites, a Silver Nova for gaming in the Clan Feud, a Scroll of Indoctrination for recruiting another member, and a Sapphire and two Emerald Crescents for placing in competitions. He has also passed ten Shadow Academy courses, including the Test of Lore. Hes also shown great dedication to his clan and house by being on IRC almost all the time in order for people to contact him when needed, and he checks his email like every five minutes :P He was also recently appointed Aedile of House Exar Kun, and during his short time in the position has already done much more then I could ask of him. Hes already gotten to work on his biggest project, bringing the Battle Teams back to their former glory. He started off within two days of being selected by appointing better leadership for the teams, and then assigned them a serious of tasks that would better them in the long run. Bubba has also done a great job in helping me advance future house projects, and we have big plans for the future of Exar Kun. Now we come to the biggest part of this recommendation, his work on websites. Without looking into it, I know that Bubba practically does all the coding for the Plagueis, Satal Keto, Exar Kun, Plagueis Chronicle, and DBPA websites. He created three of them along side me, and during that time as been amazing when it comes to making them better. He also gets the edits done quickly and correctly, and is one of the best coders Ive seen. Almost good enough to be considered a code monkey. Hes done much more then I ever could have done, and Im certain that without him most of these websites wouldnt be anywhere near as good as they are now, if they would exist at all. I cant way to see how he changes them in the future! With all of this said, I can see no reason <b>NOT</b> to promoted BubbaX. Hes an outstanding member that always helps others when asked, and as waited for this promotion much too long. It is my pleasure and honor to award Bubba this stepping-stone on his path to greater things. It isnt often I have seen a member join and have such a desire to help out and be an active part of the Dark Brotherhood. It is an honor that he asked me to be his master. Always looking for something to help out on, Jarith is a steadfast member and I know he will go far in the DB. I laid out several tasks for him to do, most of which he had finished practically within 48 hours of receiving them. These tasks where completing four SA courses (Which he did more then that) one of which needed to be the Leadership Applications. As well I asked him to write a short fiction on his character, which he did wonderful on. He also completed a character portrait and earned a merit Award. Aside from these tasks Jarith has started a character website, for further character development. He also helped out by writing some History for House Caliburnus, and had aided with some graphics for the Clan. Jarith is also underway in Training to Qualify for the ACC. Jarith is a most excellent student, and member of the DB, the kind we all wish would join more often. For all this I believe Jarith Krasa is more then worthy for advancement to Guardian.
