Telona has served admirably in many positions in the Brotherhood, most noteably as Krath High Priestess and Proconsul. I have to say, though, I've never appreciated her more than for her work as Dark Voice Tribune. Since the Dark Voice was re-built three years ago, I have personally struggled to balance working on the publication with my other duties. I was relied on for content and delivery, but with Telona, I have been able to step away completely. She has taken ownership over the publication and given it a fresh feel. Her ideas for the Member's Edition are excellent and will spur more activity and chances for people to have their work read. Her work in preparation of each DV makes the process mush easier. She has managed a capable staff and has helped them in delivering a fine product. I can't begin to relate how much I appreciate being able to delegate the Dark Voice fully. Telona is doing a wonderful job with it, and I thank her for that.
Telona has long been a member of Tarentum, and throughout her entire career with this Clan, has been a friend and mentor to many of its members. She began working in leadership as the Tetrarch of the Mystics before eventually becoming Quaestor of Gladius. it was only a matter of time before she would serve on the Clan Summit, and working with Welshman as his Proconsul, Telona served to continue her streak of mentoring and innovation. She cared for the Master/Apprentice system within the Clan, and was constantly working with Welshman on ideas to further the needs of the members, no matter what their rank. Telona worked to stay involved with the Clan as a whole, and was active both through emails and IRC, as a source of knowledge and communication. She has since departed the Clan to take care of personal and family needs, but she is one of those people who will always have a place within the Clan reserved specifically for her, and she will always have friends wherever Tarentum exists.

Thank you for your attitude, hard work, and friendship to our Clan, Telona. Come home soon.
The sun is setting on over one and a half years of service to the Antei Combat Centre for Telona Murrage (2/2005 - 9/2006). As a Trainer, as a Judge and as an Operator she has held the hand of many an Initiate, decided the outcomes of numerous battles and performed the duties of her position with honor and an unwavering fairness and accuracy. There is a reason why she gets a million challenges a day - word gets around, and in Telona's case - the word is good. There are people who actually want to learn, not just 'get by', and from what I've seen, she's one of the main 'go to' Trainers - which does the whole of the Centre a great service. The Adept was also pivotal in the re-creation of the ACC Initiate's Course, bringing it up to date with the changes the Centre had seen since the course's inception. She was awarded a GC (2/2006) based, in part, on the SA contribution, but I felt compelled to mention its importance again. Courses get old and outdated, and in the case of the 'ever-changing' ACC, that fact is multiplied. It takes someone with a vision of something greater to jump in feet first and get it done, without prodding, and Telona has that vision for the whole of the Brotherhood. In addition, her role in the creation of the ACC's NPC Creatures was astounding. She personally developed ten individual character sheets for the ACC's ten creatures, measuring their bonuses and penalties to a system she helped create; creating a diversity and capability within the creatures, beyond mere numbers. We cannot say if they will be a huge hit, or merely float into obscurity - but that is why her contribution was so special. She didn't analyze it until it was put on a shelf in frustration - she drove into it headlong and gave the Centre a product that will, inevitably, put the ball in the court of the members. She gave us the best she had, many times over, and is the last of the Krath High Priests to be on the Centre's training staff. As I am hovering over this recommendation, I am seeing what is meant by "Exceptional services in the form of single projects or long-term leadership to a Clan or single Council office.". As the Centre's staff goes through its metamorphosis, yet again, I fear that we will not see any one else like her, we can hope, but not hold our breath. She is being moved to Magistrate, so not lost forever, but the impact of her loss will be felt. There isn't much I can do or say that will fully relate my thanks to her. We salute her for her dedication to the Brotherhood and the Centre and her continuing service, and ask that her departure from 'active training' be marked with the Emerald Dagger. ~DA Dalthid; 20061007

Niman has been very active in Clan Plagueis' gaming category, always asking for people to play him in JO. He's earned twenty-eight CFs, proving that Plagueis does in fact have gamers. He always participated in two Great Jedi War events, as well as several rounds of the Plagueis CaptionContest. His activity has earned him three crescents, as well as the rank of Protector. This is why I'm glad to award him his first merit award ~
It is my pleasure today to recognize the Consul of Scholae Palatinae for his performance. Dakari has served honorably as Consul of CSP in a time where being Consul is one of the Brotherhood's most tolling positions. I do not discount the time and effort that organizing any clan during a Great Jedi War. While CSP did not finish high in the ranking, it was obvious from the beginning that Dakari was putting emphasis on the war, and that his members were competing. During that time he has made some tough decision regarding members, had to replace some essential leadership and been made to participate in many Dark Council debates. This is no easy task for anyone - that Dakari has done it consistently and without pause is notable.

Recently, Dakari and Braecen have teamed up to bring some great changes to CSP. From overseeing the new website to the Consul's Coven, the envoy system to the revamped battlesteam - the Clan is progessing under the guidance of Dakari. I applaud him for his efforts.
Dakari Tamalar (4601)
Sapphire Blade

Over the course of my tenure in the Brotherhood, I have often felt one member did more unseen, behind-the-scenes work than the considerable majority. That man was Dakari Tamalar... his work at Quaestor was brilliant, ableit a lackluster Clan Summit. Then I saw him finally make his break into the Elites with his induction as Proconsul, then Consul of Clan Scholae Palatinae. And while his last promotion was only five months ago, I felt it long overdue - making this more considerable a recommendation for his past eight months of work.

During Dakari's tenure I have seen the rebuilding of a Clan from ashes. His first step was to encourage member participation: thus, creation of the Clan Senate. He has encouraged both House Summits to take initiative in their roles - placing them beyond the normal borders and forcing them to excel independently. He has had to battle countless distractions during his tenure, aspects that would wear down the most visible of leaders - he has done this all behind the scenes without complaint. And since my tenure within the walls of Scholae Palatinae, one man has been by my side critiquing my work and ensuring it is what is best for his people... this Clan. Those projects include a revision of the Envoy system, revision of the Dark Senate, creation of the Consul's Coven, creation of a Member of the Month, restructuring of Battle Teams (much more his idea than mine, ever), supervision of building a new Clan Web Site, creation of a Merit/Title program that will instill pride in people's participation at the clan level, a structured rewards program for activity and the creation of the CSP Pulse. In addition to the daily stress and rigors of being a Consul, where he is forced with the tough decisions of promoting the well-being of his Clan. This includes the hard process of cracking down on unruly members, hiring and firing of leaders and dealing with the Dark Summit.

Most recently I saw Dakari privately recognize the efforts of his people, encourage his Leadership and fight an internal battle that threatened to tear apart his Clan at the seams. He did this all during the duration of the Sixth Great Jedi War, allowing his Clan not to succumb but to excel to a fourth place finish. While most leaders are paraded for their success in their Clan's placings... I believe Dakari should be fully seen as a pillar of CSP and the DJB - for the work he does that renders no thanks or recognition until observed as a whole.

Braecen Kunar
Proconsul of Scholae Palatinae

--------------------------------------

Dakari has, in the five months he's served as Consul of Scholae Palatinae, provided encouragement and inspiration to countless members. His dedication and tireless efforts have worked to make his Clan strong, managing to pull the clan together against the odds to accomplish great things. As a member of CSP, I have often looked to Dakari for help in various matters and he has always been there, and been willing to listen and help. He has always encouraged his members to strive for their goals no matter what they might be, and has always been willing to help them to achieve them. Dakari has been a true role model of what a leader should be. Caring, Compassionate, Enthusiastic, Dedicated, Committed, and Strong. It has been and continues to be, an honor and privilege to work beside Dakari for the good and glory of CSP. His sense of vision and desire to see his Clan thrive and prosper are remarkable, and for his efforts, he truly deserves a Sapphire Blade.

NOV Dakari. I remember that young Dark Jedi full of energy, but I would never believe that he would one day become a great Consul if I had been told back then. However, Dakari has disproved my thinking and has become one of the greatest leaders of the Clan. Starting out as a Battle Team Leader, he became Quaestor of (now closed) House Dorimad Sol. Dakari worked relentlessly on several projects as QUA and then CON. His enthusiasm, communication, and interaction with the members is truly outstanding! He chats regularly on IRC (recently, he had to put aside DJB activities for RL reasons) and he communicates with the leaders clearly, detailing what he wants them to do with his trusted Proconsul, Braecen Kunar.

Dakari has truly outdone himself in means of activity and dedication. I wonder if he knows how great of a leader he is... well, I don't want him to have too big of a head. :D For Dakari's loyalty and dedication to the Clan, his perseverance and awesome activity, I recommend him for a Sapphire Blade!

Since my entrance to the Clan, Consul Dakari has been a solid leading force.
Even in times of tumult, he held his resolve. In spite of losing a PCON
and an entire House Summit, Dakari managed to hold the Clan afloat. Even
meriting a 4th place finish in the 6th GJW, the Clan used Dakari as a solid
point in the political quagmire that had ensued. I personally commend
Dakari for maintaining a light-heart and open mind through-out the troubling
time. Always open to hearing suggestions, Dakaris friendly presence made
it simple for a newly arrived leader like me to find a home within the clan.

I highly recommend Dakari be considered for this award. Had he not been
present and so well composed, the clan would have surely regressed into
chaos. I congratulate Dakari for all of his hard work and dedication. Keep
it up, Daquiri!
CNS is a hard clan to lead, let alone almost lead to victory. Manesh has done his job as Consul most admirably, and deserves our thanks and recognition.

Since he first stepped into the linelight as Proconsul, Manesh has stood out as a member that knows what it means to serve. He is dedicated to his clan and too his members through and through. He has encouraged them to better themselves and make CNS a powerful force in the DB. As such, he led the Clan to the close finish with Taldryan in the GJW. It was a comeback to remember, and Manesh can be credited with a lot of that.

Beyond the GJW, Manesh has hard to work through a lot of conflicts that no person should have to. He's weathered the storms that come with being a Consul. He's helped to find happy mediums between members in a politically charged atmosphere. I can attest to the fact that dealing with problems like that is draining and just makes you want to leave your computer. Manesh has stayed strong, though. He's worked with his members to try and find compromise and has tried to hold the different parties together. It's not an easy job to do, but someone has to. Manesh has been the go-to guy, and his courgage in this area is appreciated.

While this is all going on, Manesh has even eorked to continue with normal activity and projects in the clan. His efforts will be felt in full as CNS continues to grow as a dominating force in the Brotherhood.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Manesh.
- GM Jac Cotelin

-----------------

I am pleased to be writing this recc for Manesh. After all he has done, tirelessly working throughout the GJW, and focusing his efforts on improving the clan, and keeping them motivated the entire time, I can't not reccomend him for an award. I haven't seen someone who refuses to get involved in the political stuff, and the negativity, and still work so hard, in a very long time - but he does it, over and over again. Manesh has earned the award, for his many long years of service, and his efforts on behalf of the clan. Thank you for all that you have done, and all that you continue to do, Manesh. Without your efforts, we would not have earned a very close 2nd place in the GJW. ~ Kat Pridemore, PCON of Naga Sadow

-----------------
If it weren't for Manesh, I probably wouldn't have done anything more than a few events for this GJW. It's not that I had anything against it, it's just that I am a very unmotivated person lately (hence the retirement). Of all of the events that I participated in, Manesh was the reason that I took part in more than half of them. If it wasn't for his nagging (and by nagging I mean motivational speeches, freakouts and his privately begging me to do something on IRC) I wouldn't have done most of what I did. He got me to install JA and play several matches of that, along with the poetry event (I hate poetry, can't write it to save my life), and I even played pinball. Manesh is a superb leader for CNS and any reward for his actions, his motivation and his event participation, is well earned.

~J`Rai Sadow, Pontifex and all around retired Son of Sadow

------------------------

Manesh Sadow has been Consul of Clan Naga Sadow for nearly two months and before that Pro Consul. He has worked hard to try and normalise the Clan following recent upheaval caused by several Summit members leaving including his predecessor and a recent marked improvement in activity and member satisfaction can be partly attributed to this..
At a time when there have been stirrings from some of the more militant and opinionated members in the Clan, Manesh has done his best to resolve issues and continue to work hard to improve the Clan despite this.

His leadership of the Clan during the Great Jedi War was impressive, both by example participating in most of the events and accumulating one of the highest scores in the Clan, and also by motivating his members with a stream of regular emails informing them of scores and ongoing events and encouraging as many as possible to take part.
He also maintained spreadsheets of individual results and designed a fair and simple award system based on participation and scores to simplify the medals and promotions at the end.

For all of this I believe Manesh Sadow is deserving of recognition for his efforts.
Halc is one of my favorite DB members. He is hard-working, consistent and driven to excellence. He has a wide ranging scope in the Brotherhood and I really think it's hard for any one person to get a full handle on what he does. From his job in Arcona, to Hand of Justice, to Praetor to the MAA, to Deputy Combat Master to Magistrate of the Grand Master, Halc has a hand in almost everything in the DB. He's good at it all too; his efforts are high-quality and well thought-out.

I appreciate that Halc is consistent in his activity. As Consul he was able to step in and control a clan that is not easy at all to lead. He didn't have to do it; he'd already had his time as Consul, but Halc stepped in for the good of the DB and the clan. He, along with Duga, created and led one of the best Clan fueds the DB has seen. He also led the clan to a good showing in the Great Jedi war. This was all while dealing with problem members in the CoJ and working with the ACC. Halc is just a great go-to guy.

I appreciate all that you have done, Halc. Keep up the great work!
By my hand and with my consent, the following individual is approved for advancement within the ranks of the Brotherhood.
Dark Side Adept Syn Kaek
Master At Arms
Since my induction as the Proconsul of Clan Exar Kun, I have the privilege of being the only member to be with Lusankya since his joining of that Clan to this current day. Additionally, I have the honor of being a leader in a sub-group that he has done tremendous work for (GMRG). So it is my honor, today... to present him an honor that he has long desired (and is well deserved), elevation to Sith Battlelord.
Lusankya has served admirably as a leader and mentor within the Brotherhood. He has held the positions: BTL of Pandragon Squadron, Envoy of House Bane, Aedile of House Orien Obscurum, and Aedile of House Bane. In each of these positions he has provided excellent reports, created competitions and been an excellent gamer and role model for his fellow members. In addition to his administrative skills, Lusankya is one of the few tireless coders within the Brotherhood. His listing of accomplishments include layouts for Clan Plagueis' houses (when the Clan was first launched), complete coding of the GMRG site and the total building of the new Scholae Palatinae web site. Each of these coding projects require a great deal of time, talent and generally are rewarded with a simple thank you. Lastly, I also know that this member has, from his own pockets, provided a server the past two summers with JA+ capabilities. He provides, maintains and shares this treat with the entire Brotherhood and it is often the stuff of legend (Who else provides taun-taun jousting?!).
Of course there are his personal feats since his last promotion: Star of Antei (2), Steel Cross, Grand Cross of the Dark Side, Topaz Crescent, Clusters of Fire (72), Seal of Alliances (2), Seal of Duplicity. While the activity may seem scant, this member has played countless matches of JA that have gone down 'just for fun' on his server... and he has never expected reward for those matches. He has also recently accepted the position of CodeMaster in Scholae Palatinae and has already signed on to provide several features for the site that will make it outstanding. Amongst those features include an up datable roster for our new Merit System, consolidating (and making it easier to access) the Clan Lore section, formatting the Clan History, creating a PHP news page and allowing the ease/ability of adding admin officers to the web site without his assistance.
For all of these contributions, sacrifices and skills... I request Lusankya's elevation to the third tier of the Equite ranks. And I offer my personal thanks for all of his assistance and help throughout the past year and a half.

On behalf of DJM Sarin:
I am proud and honored to recommend Sith Warrior Dax Corrin for promotion to Sith Battle Master. Dax has spent seven months at the rank of Sith Warrior earning a Steel Cross, Dark Cross, Gold Nova, Silver Nova, Bronze Nova x3, crescent with Ruby, crescent with Sapphire, 309 Clusters of fire, 7x Seal of Duplicity, and two SA courses.
Dax has led the way with his activity and dedication in Clan Plagueis. His prowless as one of the best multiplayer gamers in the Dark Brotherhood is well deserved and has brought glory to Plagueis.
Dax's quiet, mature, and consistent leadership makes the DB a better place. He is well deserving of this promotion to SBM. Congratulations
Dax!
