Gentlemen and Ladies,
Solus Gar isn't your normal member.
He's controversial. He's a lightening rod. He attracts controversy like a lantern attracts moths. The reason he does this? He's skilled, talented, focused, driven, and he's not quiet about it. He's loud, he's logical, and he's experienced enough to make sense. And he gets frustrated about being ignored. That said, when Solus is listened to, he gives like there's no tomorrow.
Since before he came to Plagueis, Solus has been invaluable. He more or less single handedly re-designed the Plagueis Fleet Reset to within a half point. He earned the respect of the Deputy Grand Master in helping to point out places where the Fleet sheet needed work, and proceeded to upgrade the sheet in cooperation with the DGM.
He successfully helmed the first Brotherhood Debate event, testing the format and refining it for further use.
During the Summer Invasion Feud, (Also known as the Orian Incursion), Solus earned Two Diamond Crescents, Two Amethyst Crescents, and Third Place Overall. He earned a Dark Cross for his efforts, and was the leading performer from Plagueis.
After joining Plagueis, Solus personally recruited three additional members, one of whom he personally raised to Dark Jedi Knight in 47 days.
He is First Hero of the Brotherhood Vendetta: Horizons. He personally earned Ten of Plagueis' Novae.
He participated in 26 of 29 possible events, his apprentice participated in 20 of 29.
Solus has mentored countless other members beyond his own apprentices, has assisted in multiple additional projects in proofing, concept, overall design, and is only not on the Summit because he doesn't want to be.
His dedication to the Shadow Academy, to turning around exams inside forty eight hours, picking up the slack of professors who fail to grade on time, and just general all around effectiveness cannot be overstated.
His performance is stellar. It's Excessive. It sets the bar for prolonged contributions to Plagueis, and to the Brotherhood.
He deserves to be recognized for this with a Sacramental Award.
I ask that you recognize his performance, dedication, excellence, and continued assistance with an Amethyst Kukri.
~Tra'an Reith, Quaestor of House Plagueis
I haven't known Solus for very long, at least not personally. It's only been in the past few months that I've been able to interact with him and understand that he is a friendly, helpful, qualified, and unnaturally active member of our Club. And to boot, he keeps a very humble demeanor--taking satisfaction in a job well done, even if it's not a job well recognized.
I admire this guy. He's always one step away from the decisions, putting in amazing activity that wins awards in graphics, writing, and gaming and still coming back to assist the DC and his House's summit.
Well done, Slags. Enjoy a few more letters on your alphabet-soup ID line!
~Eiko, Rollmaster of House Plagueis
I give my complete support to this recommendation Both leading up to and during Horizons, Solus was an invaluable resource to me. He both made sure I adequately prepared for the event and helped guide me through it. As a result I achieved results that I don't think I would have garnered otherwise without his advice, counsel, and occasional "aggressive encouragement". I have also been impressed with his desire to help others as well during events like the Run-On and all in all has been one of the better mentors I've encountered over many years.
~Arden Karn, member of House Plagueis and apprentice to Solus Gar
Solus and I haven't know each other personally very long, but during the Vendetta, specifically the run-on, I came to know him very well. Solus has a dedication to House Plagueis and the DB at large that I haven't seen in very long time. He played a very significant role in the development of our Run-On by helping guide the newer members and played a significant mentor role to them. I was impressed with the way he handled every situation and I would be very surprised if the Run-On had run as smoothly without him there.
His dedication to developing the newer members of the Plagueis and the Brotherhood is shown in his equally impressive dedication to the Shadow Academy. This combination of activity, mentor-ship, and leadership more than prove that he is extremely worthy of this sacramental award.
Congratulations Slags, this is well deserved. Continue to be a beacon of activity and guidance in our Brotherhood.
~ Alaris Jinn di Plagia of House Plagueis
I've known Solus Gar for many years, both in the Dark Brotherhood and outside of it, and I'm always astounded by not only his level of personal drive, but also his level of dedication to those around him. In my time being active, I've seen many examples of him using his skills and knowledge of both Star Wars and the Dark Brotherhood to bring out the best in everyone and I feel he really deserves this award.
I've always known him as someone that will not give anything less than 100% of himself and will do whatever it takes to help others do the same.
~Graus Colvin of Clan Arcona
For as long as I have known Solus Gar he has been a force in the Brotherhood. A man with multiple talents, he has the unique ability to be involved in both major aspects of the club--administration and participation in the fictional/fun environment. This is a rare gift as often a member leans towards one side or the other. Solus not only does both but does them very well. This is evident in the can of whoop ass he opened in the Vendetta and in his tireless pursuit of improving the Shadow Academy. He has written new courses, and spearheaded the debate event which I think will be a great boon for the SA and the DB in the future. He is a bastion of activity, a paragon of leadership, and an example we should all strive for. I am proud to be able to help him be recognized for his many contributions.
~Scelestus, Magistrate to the Headmaster and Aedile of House Qel-Droma of Clan Arcona
Four months ago, Solus Gar received a well-deserved promotion to Sith Battlelord after an immense amount of work for the Shadow Academy and for Arcona. The reason why I now ask that he be awarded an Amethyst Kukri? Because he proved to me after his promotion that he was only just getting started.
It's typical, really, for members to slow down after a hard-fought award or promotion. But not Slags. Not my Praetor. It began with the little things. Dozens of Clusters of Fire, crescents, scrolls. Then before I knew it, he was in Plagueis, assisting with the brainstorming of the Summer Invasion, the three-unit feud among Naga Sadow, Scholae Palatinae, and Plagueis. Not only did he take third place overall in the feud (earning a Dark Cross for that), but he also gave enormous insight to the Plagueis summit for plot, schedule, and story in terms of the event. He was creative, stubborn, and resilient, never giving up even if his initial vision had been changed.
Throughout even the feud, Slags was working with me to continually expand and improve upon the Shadow Academy's repertoire of courses. He helped me begin an all-out audit by hiring Scelestus as our Magistrate and working alongside him to edit and modify various exams. He suggested the idea that we overhaul the General History department in order to make it more accessible to members who desire to use Star Wars history to better develop their Brotherhood characters. He started brainstorming the design and aesthetics of the Shadow Academy itself and how it would look and function in fiction. He consistently jumped in to grade exams when Professors had failed to meet the 72-hour turnaround time requirement. He had proven to me that he was never happy with the status quo, that he was always willing to question and use skepticism to our advantage to make the Academy better and stronger.
I didn't think he could top his work as Praetor and mentor to so many people. But then again, Horizons hadn't even started yet.
Slagar's success in Horizons wasn't simply based on his participation. True, he earned ten Novae, which sealed him the title of First Hero. True, he participated in 26 out of 29 events. True, he was pretty much a goddamn warhorse in terms of his contributions to the competition individually. But what the medals don't tell you is how much he really worked to make everyone else around him succeed just as much. Arden Karn, having been recruited to the Brotherhood by Slags himself and subsequently becoming his apprentice, proved to be a brilliant new addition to Plagueis by participating in 20 out of 29 events and becoming Eighth Hero of Horizons. He couldn't have done that without Slags' constant pushing, encouragement, and even criticism, something that is a little difficult to swallow especially for some new members. Being from an entirely different unit, Graus Colvin of Arcona worked with Slags and myself in the run-on and with Slags in the co-op fiction. The co-op received silver and the run-on received gold, helping Graus achieve Tenth Hero. Slagar feverishly worked to put together the gold-winning wiki team - also consisting of myself, Legorii Kryotek Entar, Socorra Erinos, and Tra'an Reith - endlessly reminding us of what to do for the article and how to do it well. I could go on and on and on about how Slags became a beacon of creativity, determination, and perseverance for our run-on team, which ultimately compiled a story over 40,000 words long and at a whopping 40 posts, none of them being the bare minimum requirement of text. We could not have done so much without Slags serving as the captain of our little ship, giving direction to the narrative and flooding us with new ideas as well as helping to edit posts and give feedback to members still struggling with the run-on formula.
Solus Gar does not have to be Headmaster to be a true mentor. He does not have to be Quaestor or Consul to be a true leader. The amount of teaching that Slags has committed to is phenomenal. The description of the Amethyst Kukri claims that the award is granted when the recipient has greatly furthered one aspect of the Brotherhood. If that's the case, then I wish I could give him two Kukris: one for the Shadow Academy and one for Plagueis. But seeing as I can't exactly give him two shinies simultaneously, I'm happy to give him at least one because he deserves it.
Thank you, Slags.

The Amethyst Kukri is awarded for a specific task or project that is of significant value for either a Clan/House or for the Brotherhood as a whole. I cannot think of a more "significant" aspect of the club than the Great Jedi War. Up until the very first week this was very much Muz's baby. He put together the initial plot, while funding the development of the comic. On top of that he had to re-code a previous Vendetta site for use by the DB for the GJW. The amount of work needed just to get things set-up is astounding, and he was also heavily involved both in the event formation phase as well as the overall grading phase. I know he had a few sleepless nights ensuring that everything managed to get put together in time. Without his efforts this GJW could not have run as smoothly as it did. As such, I believe this awards is more than deserving.

Kaira Rohana is one of Odan-Urr's most prolific members. Always active and always ready to help, we are absolutely blessed to have her as a member in our house. She has never shied away from a task given to her and has, on my occasions, taken the initiative to bail the house out in its time of need. However, despite her vast assortment of organizational and gaming skills, Kaira's real strength is her ability to help members be comfortable and grow as productive members of the club. Her longtime apprentice Zeon Blacktooth is nearing completion of his DJK trials and she has taken a personal interest in Murtallica (who is just now becoming a Jedi Knight) and Lelila, two of Odan-Urr's original apprentices.
During her time as Rollmaster Kaira did not only focus on individual members' growth, however. She also focused on the house as a whole by creating and maintaining the House Odan-Urr activity tracker. Since taking the position in Spring, 2011 she has sent custom tailored welcome emails to every APP transferred into Odan-Urr and has found the time to take a personal interest in everyone.
Kaira's contribution to the house, however, does not end with mere tracking activity. She played a major role in the development of Odan-Urr's current fiction, including the first HOU run on and development of New Tython (which played a major role in the GJW). During said war, without a Quaestor or Aedile, Kaira took the job of Rollmaster to new heights by organizing the house--practically on her own--into a well-oiled GJW team. The Wiki articles produced under her supervision (particularly Week 3) were some of the best written during the vendetta and, though the RO failed to impress the Dark Council, it was solely due to her leadership and initiative that we had an RO to submit at all.
Kaira is a real treasure and I greatly anticipate working with her more in the future.
Ji
Kaira Rohana, I knew the name well before I ever even entered Odan-Urr but had never known the person behind the moniker which just goes to show the reputation of this lovely lady. Kaira for all intents and purposes has established herself as not only a member or leader but a person of the highest caliber for which I am grateful to be able to serve alongside. While I have not known Kaira personally for any length of time exceeding two months what I can say of her is this: Kaira is without a doubt the most active and deserving member of House Odan-Urr for as long as I have been a member and as her reputation puts it even longer before that. Besides her own gains Kaira has served at the advantage of others as well. From what I do know of her is that during the recent Great Jedi War Kaira was left as the solely active summit member for the house taking on duties above her station. Kaira albeit not fictionally but in a practical sense did in fact lead the house through the four weeks of battle. Her guidance was invaluable in asserting that the house maintained connection and coordination with each other. She was instrumental in assisting the members to execute the team based competitions as well as the solo activities, while she herself placed in 21 of them herself earning not only an equally comparable amount of Seals of Decimation but also securing numerous novae.

Dante is one of the few members of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, who have influenced me to such a degree. He does not hold high position within the Dark Brotherhood, but it is not what makes me respect him so much. What makes me respect him so much is his attitude towards other members of the House and myself personally, as he was my Master on my way to the Knighthood.
Description of the Amethyst Kukri emphasizes that its recipient have shown extraordinary dedication and abilities in one area of the Dark Brotherhood. I believe that Dante has proved himself valuable in various matters, but what I would like to recommend this award for him is his service seen as a whole.
I wish to stress that Dante has shown exceptional abilities and dedication in being an exemplary member of the House and whole Dark Brotherhood. He has earned countless Clusters of Fire and numerous other awards since his promotion to the rank of Primarch. This proves his dedication to participating in multiplayer gaming to inspire activity there. Also, he has came up with several competitions for the House and has served on the position of Battleteam Leader of Nightstalkers.
In addition to all these merits, Dante is nearly always available via IRC, always willing to help if someone needs it. He uses his skills, experience and knowledge in the best interest of House Scholae Palatinae and the Dark Brotherhood as the whole. This is the area, where Dante shows his exceptional dedication and abilities and that is why, I would like to add my supporting voice to this recommendation for this Amethyst Kukri.

Most of my time around Dante has been spent with the two of us exchanging rounds from the business end of shotguns. He is a dominant force in gaming - not only talented in the arena, but also as he's been working alongside Fremoc as Magistrate to the Fist. Talented, tactful, and regularly present in any gaming event - even with my limited view of Dante's accomplishments, I'm glad to be a part of this club alongside him. His name floats to the top of the club as one of the many older members who have been incredibly active in the club and involved in their Houses. For his commitment and devotion to this club over the past nine years, I'd like to add my recommendation to the others who are calling for him to be awarded this Amethyst Kukri. He deserves this.
OT Eiko
Quaestor, House Revan
Dante is with out a doubt the heavy hitter in Scholae Palatinae. He is the one I can rely upon to make an active showing no matter what it involves. Since his last promotion Dante has been the single most active and productive member of Scholae Palatinae earning an incredible amount of medals. Since his last promotion he has earned: 6 Pendants of Blood, over 750 Clusters of Fire, 2 Clusters of Ice, 9 Seals of Return, 14 Seals of Defiance, 1 Dark Cross, 2 Anteian Crosses, 1 Steel Cross, 2 Grand Crosses, 2 Scrolls of Foundation, 1 Legion of the Scholar, 1 Seal of Loyalty, 2 Bronze Nova, 7 Silver Nova and a Multitude of Crescents (2 Diamonds, 5 Rubies, 6 Amethysts, 6 Emeralds, 5 Topaz, 2 Sapphire, 1 Quartz). Dante always participates in as many competitions during large events as he can. In the last IGs he participated in 9 and ranked 4th overall. He proudly represents the best of Scholae Palatinae each time he participates in a competition.
But Dante isnât just a heavily active member who participates in big events and games a ton. Dante is a key member of the Scholae Palatinae Summit and an aid to the office of the FIST. Dante has been a long-standing member of Scholae Palatinae and been either in an official leadership position or advisory position for most of his time here. In many respects he serves as both currently.
As a friend and advisor I know I can rely on Dante to provide feedback in support in what I am doing as QUA. He isnât afraid to voice his opinion and is always willing to lend a helping hand to projects that extend beyond his current position as a BTL. A prime example of this is his work on bringing the military plan for HSP up to where it is supposed to be (our system was old and never finished).
As a BTL Dante not only leads through as an incredibly active example he provides structure for his members as well as plenty of opportunities for them to experience what leadership can be like. He pushes his BT to not only participate but to also create and run their own competitions and to interact with each other.
Simple put Dante is one hell of a member and a leader. We are lucky to have him around and he deserves recognition for his incredible efforts both on the House Level and DB wide.
Congratulations Dante.

Quaestor of Scholae Palatinae
Old man Dante, is a great staff member to have around. Since I hired him back in December, he has been a valuable resource for insight in various aspects of the DJB's gaming. He will provide advise when I'm working on something, especially when it comes to something that is on older venues. He and I brought back our presence in Battlestats.com, where he and Havok having been flying against members of the TRA, TFA, RS, and making our club more well known outside of our normal means. He's earned easily over 500 CF's since he joined my staff and has kept activity in gaming high.
Like i said he helped restore our presence in Battlestats.com after I was given leadership of our page and group there. He and I have been creating competitions there where our members can participate, while also signing up for events that were created by other clubs.
Another one of our major projects was restarting the Inter Club Gaming Event. In February we began testing the system to make sure it still worked. Initial testing showed that it still worked, and we re-launched the event for members, with Dante acting as the man in charge for it. We gathered the EH, GE, and the RS initially to gather support. After a few months, we reached out to other clubs namely the TRA and the TFA and various smaller clubs under the flag of the DJO. They eventually got on board and we've been slowly growing ever since. Dante has been though the man that I put in charge of this event. He starts up the bot, shuts it off, and recommends the CF's that are earned that day.
On any given day he'll make sure my sanity is in check, and asking if there's anything needed to be done. More often than not, I will ask him to proof read some work that I have been doing so that I'm not lookig like I'm illiterate.
Without Dante, I'm sure Araxis and myself would be bouncing around like crazy with random ideas. So I'd like to thank you Dante, by awarding you an Amethyst Kukri. Congrats man.

Unless you have been living under a rock for the last month, you'll know that the Wiki has been having a rough time lately. There was a big oopsie, and Orv has been working pretty much incessantly to get that fixed. Given how integral the Wiki is to a lot of what we do nowadays, that is a huge deal. He's also been workign to make sure that this sort of thing doesn't happen again. With all of that work just ont he wiki, it's easy to forget how important Orv has been to work in enhancing and expanding the brotherhood.
A few weeks ago, Halc and I went through and made sure that we rewarded some of the people that often get overlooked, and we purposely left Orv off of that list because of this work. With the amount of time and energy he has invested recently, it helped expand his award into a Amethyst Kukri as a token of our esteem. Also, because we can't give him bacon through the internet.
Thanks again, Orv. Keep it up. Please. ~ Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith.
Orv Desserx. Smelly Arconan, but resident bad-ass coder and saviour of the DJBWiki. When the Wiki went down a couple weeks ago, this man right here was quickly alerted to the problem and got to work as soon as possible. He found out that we had no access to the server that the Wiki was stored on, and alerted everyone of the alternatives. It wasn't long before he got to work, locating an older version from a year and a half ago. He set up a new database on the server that holds the DJBWiki's coding, and downloaded over 6,000 cached pages. Six thousand! It took him daaaays. In addition, he's written scripts that tweak the cached pages into wiki code, therefore making it much easier for pages to be restored. To do this, he wrote 2,200 lines of custom PHP code, as well as converted almost all of the custom infobox templates found on our wiki into the proper code. Over 50 of them!
Overall, he's spent roughly 100 hours of hard work on restoring our Wiki. While there is still much to do, our resident bad-ass coder has made it much easier on the DJBWiki Staff, as well as the general Brotherhood member populous, to restore it to it's former glory. Backups are stored off-server and updated weekly, in order to prevent such a loss of data. While restoring the DJBWiki was part of his duties, doing almost all the work for actually bringing everything back up to date was not necessarily his job. He went above and beyond the call of duty, showing the Brotherhood just what a fantastic member he is and just how dedicated he truly is to this club. He juggles a full time job working for a university as a coder, being a dad, and coding for us. It's a lot to take on, and this man is definitely up to the task. I'd put forth my recommendation for a Sacramental Award in the name of Orv Desserx any day. Congratulations buddy, you've more than earned it. Keep up the great work. ~Anubis Annedu
Originally, Orv was going to be awarded a "smaller" medal, as a token of appreciation for his continued efforts as SCL as well as for his fantastic event in the IGs. Yet suddenly the DB had a bit of a crisis as one of our most popular activities and repository of information, the DB wiki, was suddenly lost to us. What many people hard worked so hard on over the years was gone, and things were bleak. Enter: Orv. He only had a back-up that was over a year and a half old, but no worries, he would go to google and download as much of the wiki cache as he could and then convert the html into wiki code. He would bring the wiki back to some semblance of it's former self. He would spent countless hours helping to shape the wiki back into a recognizable form. The wiki is now almost ready to be released to the public. Although much work will need to be accomplished, Orv has saved us literally years of work. He has also ensured that this can never happen to us again. I would just like to give him my heartfelt gratitude for all of the work he's put into this, and I'm sure I am speaking for the entire club when I say that. Thank you, Orv! ~Halcyon Taldrya, Sith Lord

Koga Kage was last promoted 1 year, 7 months and 10 days ago, he had been in Plagueis for a long time and his a true veteran of our House. Yet along with the few others, he has truly been over looked. With his leaving, it is time we thank him for everything he has given to us.
In the time he has been an Templar, Koga has not only served greatly as a Rollmaster but also as an Aedile. He completed all his duties as a leader to a high standard, keeping journeymen active, hosting competitions and submitting frequent reports. I served as the Quaestor over him at the time as his service and he truly did do well.
After all the help and aid he has given us, but on this one, Koga is well in the right for this award.
Since his last promotion he has earned:
374 x Clusters of Fire
1x Crescent of Amethyst Star
1x Crescent of Emerald Star
5x Crescent of Sapphire Star
1x Crescent of Topaz Star
1x Silver Nova
1x Steel Cross
4x Seals of Defiance
4 x Seals of Bone
This is truly a great list of awards, so therefore for activity, his hard work, and everything he has given to us. Koga should have been given this a long time agoâ¦
Nice work there Mr Kage, I wish you the best for the future.

Koga, has been one of the most active gamers in the last several months, earning countless CF's and always looking to game against other members. He doesn't care about his own personal glory, or how many times he wins or loses, but games anyways because he enjoys it. He shows his maturity and understanding of gaming and more then earned this reward. Congrats dude. ~ Prelate Fremoc Pepoi Sadow, Fist of the Brotherhood

Programming is one of the most sought after occupations in DB day to day activity. Aabsdu brings much to the table, including knowledge of HTML, ASP, and since the Shadow Academy's conversion to PHP, he has tackled this language as well. The Shadow Academy is almost completely separate from the other societies in the sense that we normally have to code things ourselves. In the few years I've known him, I've watched the Shadow Academy grow beyond anyone's expectations. When he resigned in May of last year, I didn't want to be parted from his leadership and friendship. This wasn't the case however, as Aabsdu has been a behind the scenes Headmaster; my most trusted counsel. Aabsdu wrote the book on the Grind Path, literally a 10 page "how-to" guide that I have since been following in the construction of the new Grind Path feature. When Aabsdu stepped down, he also assumed the role of sole-coder. He codes everything for the Shadow Academy, from every new exam that is released, to the countless FTP site updates I put on his desk. As his work continues to pile up, it comes to my attention that I haven't awarded him for the extreme amount of coding work he does for the Shadow Academy. Aabsdu is in my opinion, the greatest thing to happen to the Shadow Academy. His work will carry on for years to come, and I honestly don't know where I'd be without him. It is with this that I recommend that my greatest of friends be awarded with the coveted Amethyst Kukri. Thank you for everything you've done. ~Taigikori Aybara Dupar; Headmaster of the Brotherhood

Ji, the name itself is short and conclusive. The person behind it, however, is far more large and complex. He is constantly thinking, constantly finding new ways to change the House he is in and the brotherhood itself. He has constantly astounded me with his logic, and creative way of thinking. He is rarely wrong, and when he is he researches so he can get it right every time.
I met Ji on IRC, but only fully realized what he was when I played an NPC in the final Cestus run-on. Ji's creative thinking twisted the entire story into something that I never expected. It was exciting, adventurous, and all-in-all, just a good way to end a house. When he became Proconsul of Clan Tarentum, I fully supported him. He always had an idea, and never hesitated to implement it. He was always complimentary, even his criticisms were positive. He never EVER criticized another member, just to criticize them; just to tear them down. He always looked for ways to improve, to reform, and to renovate. Ji was very inspirational in the reformation of the clan. His work in Cestus helped him to build the Houses of Reinthaler and Kaerner. He knew which people would be supremely able to do which job, and he was right.
Then, during the Rite of Supremacy, he really took the reins. He bombarded members with encouragement, and his positive attitude was infectious. He was the main reason that I earned 7 seals, he just inspired me. And I guess he inspired others as well, because he was awarded a Sapphire Blade. But the ornamentation didn't give him a big head, he continued to be positive and encouraging as before. His latest work has been some of his greatest. He was one of the key masterminds of the current Tarentum storyline, "Theocracy of the Unwilling", and worked exceptionally hard on reforming the entire Tarentum Armed Forces. There was never a moment on IRC where he wasn't busy doing something else, and his response times were less than rapid because of it. The results of his work were always spectaculor, well thought out, and carefully drawn up.
Ji, you amazed me. You have truly made Tarentum into what it is, and you have been an awesome fellow Tarenti, Aedile, and person. My blade is always in your service should you so desire it and I really really appreciate all you have done. If anyone deserves this award, it has to be you. Congratulations my friend, you have earned it.

When Ji first joined the DB, he immediately set to work on the run-on that was taking place, as well as several competitions that were running concurrently. He amazed everyone by picking up on activity right away. That ethic never left Ji, and was only reinforced as time went on.
Others will list his accomplishments, but I feel like Ji's accomplishments to date are nothing compared to what he has up his sleeve. He may be taking a break from leadership, but Ji works endlessly on various projects, churning out greatness while others just idle on IRC.
His track record is amazing, and I can't wait to see what he contributes further, not just to any individual unit, but to the DB as a whole. His excellence as Proconsul, Aedile, and various other positions, official or unofficial, have proven that Ji is more than worthy of an Amethyst Kukri.
~Dralin Fortea
BTL of the Reckoners
Ji is worryingly charismatic, for a Tarenti. Obviously a rising star in the Brotherhood, he is often the first point of contact between Arcona-Tarentum relations, and he works tirelessly to preserve such good relations, making sure to forge friendships in both of the Houses that extend beyond the Brotherhood. This amiability has set an excellent example to his members and I can think of nobody better to recieve such a reward in Tarentum. Well done, and thanks for being such an excellent counterpart and putting the needs of the Brotherhood above the needs of any one clan.
~Sashar Erinos, di Tenebrous Arconae
I will let others wax poetic about what Ji has accomplished during his time in Tarentum, and instead focus on his time working with me as my Magistrate. Although the project is still on-going, Ji has already managed to go through a few hundred articles, critically looking at them and noting any discrepancies that he finds. The amount of time, work and effort that it takes to do such meticulous work is hard to explain, but it is something that he has jumped in with both feet and has proven to be adept at finding what needs to be found. He truly wants the DB to be better and has aimed to ensure that our fictional reality is rock-solid. His efforts on the Wiki Audit are tremendous, and he truly does deserve recognition for it
~Halcyon Taldrya
Voice of the Brotherhood
Ji and I got off on the wrong foot. As a newer member of Tarentum, I used to dislike him intensely. During his time as my peer and as my leader he has done more than enough to reverse that opinion and to earn my respect and friendship several times over. He has worked tirelessly on various aspects of Tarentum's fiction, making sure the wiki stays up to date, that everyone understands what's going on, that everyone who wants input gets to have it, and most importantly that creative control isn't captured in the hands of only a few influential members.
At times when I have felt that my opinion as a leader in Tarentum wasn't being sought or listened to, he has reached out to me and asked for it. When he has made promises to me, he has followed through on them. When I have disagreed with decisions he has always been willing to discuss and debate with me - and most importantly, he doesn't dismiss my concerns outright or acquiesce to them under pressure. He does what a good leader should do: listens, considers, and makes an informed decision.
I am pleased to add my recommendation for Ji. He has done more for Tarentum than most of us will ever hope to do.
~Scion "Firebird" Altera
Aedile of House Tarentum
When I first met Ji, then Huldrych, he was a Guardian of House Cestus trying to serve the house and clan the best way he could. He was always friendly, always willing to help new members which aided in the crucial task of member retention. For his hard work he was selected to become an Aedile to then Quaestor Sato Tarentae and served with distinction for two months. As time went on we both grew into our house, receiving our Knighthood and after the 9th GJW we both were selected as leaders of our house in a difficult position. The three of us, Ronovi, Ji and I worked diligently as we molded a new future for our house with fresh ideas and daring plans. In the house summit circle I truly began to notice the brilliance of Ji Kâawill des Oulrevent. Ji was always coming up with new and different ideas, sometimes these ideas were welcome and in the direction we wanted to take the house, and other times they were ideas that we put on the back burner for a later date. None the less, Ji Kaâwill kept at it, never giving up, always trying to come up with someone new and fresh for the membership. To me this is a very admirable trait as people who have the vision and willingness to work hard for their vision. In my opinion, Tarentum would not be where it is today without Jiâs hard work on several levels. For his hard work and sacrifices made for the clan/house and his commitment to the future of the Brotherhood, I recommend that Ji Kâawill des Oulrevent by awarded a token of our appreciation for all that he has done in the form of the Amethyst Kukri.
~Aegis Fang
He pwned in the Rite of Supremacy, earning a Silver Nova for fiction. He ran House Cestus's final run-on as its last Quaestor. He assisted in coordinating the house reform of Tarentum, when Kaerner and Reinthaler were created as the clan's houses. All this earned him a Sapphire Blade, and I looked forward to see how he would top that.
Ji K'awiil des Oultrevent didn't disappoint me. As Proconsul of Clan Tarentum, he was a key conceptualist for the storyline "Theocracy of the Unwilling" and its continuing run-on, "The King and the Gods." He was mostly responsible for the new fictional system of government for the clan, the Yridian Kratocracy. He was the main coordinator of Navy and Army reform in Tarentum, creating the Yridian Surface Command and writing spreadsheet after spreadsheet of new ground forces and ships. He appointed a High General and a Fleet Admiral and jumped right back to work, and Halcyon appointed him as Magistrate to the Voice and worked with him to direct a massive wiki audit in order to maintain canon within the DB universe.
But look at me, simply listing one tangible accomplishment after another like I'm attempting to burn them out of my system. The truth of the matter is, I miss having Ji in Tarentum. He has more amazing plans for the Brotherhood, working in Arcona and conceiving a potential light side house for the club. What he is, more than anything else, is progressive. He is vigilant of others' progress, while he attempts to push the organization forward in its efforts to stay afloat and relevant in the contemporary, perhaps conceivably post-Star Wars era (though that may be a matter of opinion). Never before had I seen a leader so concerned for other members, making sure not only that they were safe and happy on public forums but also that they were being justly rewarded for their activity.
I began working with Ji when I was Aedile of Cestus and he was Rollmaster. We both became the house's main summit, I Quaestor and he Aedile, before I ascended to the clan summit. We worked as Consul and Proconsul together, then Quaestor and Aedile after the downsizing. In short, Ji was my second-in-command for nearly two years. We had many disagreements, and many of our conversations ended with Ji losing a few braincells due to my occasionally obtuse behavior as a still learning leader. But we got stuff done. By God, we got stuff done.
There aren't many people like you, Ji, and when it comes to your drive, I wish there were. I hope you enjoy the honor of having this Amethyst Kukri on your dossier, as a reward for your hard, arduous, and unfortunately somewhat unrecognized work. Thank you for all that you've done, and good luck in all that you do.

Sith Warlord Robert Sadow alias Bob, is one of the long term highly active members of Clan Naga Sadow, who does an impressive and valuable amount of work for his Clan. Along with his work maintaining the CNS Master Student Program as Clan Rollmaster he has also designed competitons for his fellow members and has recently done a lot of work revamping the Black Guard project making it more interesting and relevant to modern members. He also has a calm considered opinion on most Clan related discussions. In addition to this he worked extremily hard in the recent Rite of Supremecy fighting hard in the ACC and also placing first in a fiction event and third in the poetry which played a piviotal role in Naga Sadow winning those events and itâs eventual impressive third place. He is fully deserving of this award. ~Malisane Sadow.
I think Bob is a living legend. He has held every leadership position in CNS/HNS, from Rollmaster to Consul. He's mentored countless of members including myself in the ways of the Dark Brotherhood, and also speaks his mind when an issue arises in his mind or there is something on the table that needs to be discussed. Before he became Clan Rollmaster of CNS, Bob was the Quaestor of Marka Ragnos. Bob taught me the ropes of the job as I was his Aedile, helping him run the house. Although his term was short, he provided a basis for where HMR has been heading fictionally. Bob was the Clan Rollmaster and in charge of the Black Guard, a guard that protects the leadership from any wrong doers. Bob has been making every bit and piece of that unit better than it was before, creating new weapons and training halls for the guard. He also engaged in Operation Wake UP, where he would email the apprentices, novices, acolytes, and protectors, almost every week until they decided to respond to his emails. It woke some of our members up, but some remained quiet even after what we joked as "Bob spammage." During the RoS Bob placed in 3 events, as well as competing in about 10 other events out of the possible 15 events. Which during the that time of 5 weeks to compete in all of those events, is a feat in of itself. During the house feud that I ran several months back, he single handedly earned 47 points out of the Night Hawks' combined score of 110 which to earn that amount of points, he had to participate in every event that I had to run, and get a bare minimum of just the participation points and a few placings. Bob has more than earned the right to be awarded an Amethyst Kukri and I wish this had gone through sooner my old friend. Congrats Bob! ~OT Fremoc Pepoi, Magistrate to the Fist
Bob is awesome, that much is clear to just about everyone in this Clan. I've no doubt that the other reccomendations have highlighted his participation in the recent Rite of Supremacy, where he flung himself into the events, especially the ACC (which as anyone who braved the ACC during the RoS will tell you, was no walk in the park, even if people had the benefit of experience. Bob did not and still held his own.) and his work as Quaestor of HMR and more recently as Rollmaster. In both of these roles, he got stuck in and made the kind of new, changes that keep things fresh, while also leading by example and actually particpating in the day to day doings of the Clan. He's the kind of guy who is always willing to pitch in and help out and when, like me, you're a rookie Quaestor, it's a big comfort to know that he's willing to do that and that he's always got a moment to chat and give you a bit of advice on whatever sticky situation you may encounter. He's pretty much a CNS institution and I hope he likes the way we show our appreciation. Congrats! - Dyrra Skye, HLK QUA Emeritus.
Robert Sadow is known to every member of CNS (and a fair few outside of the Clan) as officially one of the nicest guys in the Brotherhood. He's dedicated, friendly, always willing to listen to questions and offer advice, and balances all this with a fervent desire to improve this Clan and to do everything in his power to assist CNS when he is needed. That has showed itself in his work as Consul (unfortunately cut short due to technological problems) and his swift return to leadership roles once his internet was restored, which displayed his desire to help out in any leadership role he could. As Quaestor, Bob did a great job training his Aedile, Fremoc, for the position and making sure Fremoc knew the ropes; as Clan Rollmaster, he has been doing some sterling work developing the Black Guard and building up the Master Student Program to get new members trained and keep them active. His participation during the RoS was stunning; I believe Bob entered every event, even the ACC (in which he wasn't previously qualified), and his performance in every field was excellent. In the ACC, and despite his worries following the first round, he came out strong in the next two rounds to win four of his six battles, including a stunning defeat over Timeros which was very well deserved. Couple this with his desire to motivate the rest of the Clan and his encouraging emails inciting others to submit to the various events and get their ACC posts in on time, and you have a perfect example of a member who regularly shows their dedication and how much they care about their Clan. Bob is the kind of member that we could use more of; he's an absolute joy to know and work with, and I feel this Amethyst Kukri is just a small token of our appreciation for everything that he has done for CNS. Thanks a lot, Bob- have a drink on me. ~KPN Manji Keibatsu Sadow, Consul Emeritus of Naga Sadow
Back when HNS was a Clan made up of two Houses, in recent history HMR has dominated HLK in terms of the quality of their work and in the sheer amount of activity they've produced. This is due, in no small part, to Kharon Daragon's (bka Bob Sadow) choosing to make his home there. Our Beloved Drunkard has been a driving force in HNS ever since I myself had joined, giving me a great example of how one should be viewed when a member reaches the level of veneration as Bob has. He gives of his time and energy when he has it to spare, without thought of reward or thanks, and even when he is not around, his legacy is such that he is still talked about...in a great way, of course! As one who is striving to make his mark in the hearts and minds of the membership, I am thankful that I have Bob as an example of what it is to give of oneself to the thing one loves, and to thoroughly enjoy one's self doing it. Bob guides the youngest of our fresh recruits, and is respected by the eldest of our veterans; one should be so lucky to gain half of the prestige that he has during his time here. Activity wise, Bob's shining example grows even brighter: in the time since his last Sacramental Award, he has earned no less than 16 Crescents, 14 Seals, including one of Loyalty, two Novae, including a Gold one. He even found time to earn a Legion of the Scholar and serve in both a Rollmaster and Quaestor capacity! Impressive...most impressive, Kharon! Therefore, it is without hesitation and with no reservation that I lend my name to Bob's recommendations to receive an Amethyst Kukri. We thank you for all you've done, Bob, and I'm sure that Fred thanks you, as well. Congratulations! KE Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow (Krath)/AED/House Naga Sadow
Bob, Bob, Bob... what more can one say about the only other man who has been here since the very beginning? It says it all that, aside from Tron himself, Bob is the one person who can stand up and say that, not only does he remember House Naga Sadow, but he was there, on the ground floor, leadingâback in 1998! I was only 12. It seems crazy to think how much of his life Bob has put into this House, Clan, now House again. Nostalgia aside, it amazes me how much Bob hasn't just sat around, but continues to breathe as much life into Naga Sadow as he can. I remember a man who played video games. Then I remember a man with a seal. Now I see a man who has turned his hand to writing, and is continuing to get better all the time. (True, lately he's succumbed to the same dual identity crisis that seems to afflict all the Sadow elders, but nobody's perfect. I blame the beer.) For example, in his recent work as Rollmaster, a position that has generally been utilised for any real constructive purpose by only few and far between, where he not strived to revitalise the age old Master-Student relationships, the bonds of friendship that arguably form the lifeblood of much of the club; but in which he simultaneously worked to put life back into the Black Guard, which he managed by working closely with the younger leaders (which, in respect to Bob, could be said to apply to all of us), organising the rolling quarterly competitions. We may now be a House, but his work as Rollmaster continues to live on, with his successor, Malisane, together with Macron and the Battleteam Leaders currently working to find new ways to carry on the quarterly cycle. But it's not just what he does "formally". It's who he is. And who he is is what keeps many people here. Bob is one of those people who symbolises what the Dark Brotherhood is about. He's not here for personal gain, he's not here for awards, he's not here for promotions, he's not here for the countless other immaterial trinkets that he could have picked up along the way: no. He's here for the members, and always has been. Where these days I so often myself feel at a certain "distance" from the younger members, feeling like one of the crusty old timers, I have never, never been able to think about about Bob. He's got a youthful energy and a desire to engage with all members, not just from his own generation (were that the case, he'd be in a cottage only chatting to the ones with false teeth and grey hairs), but also all of the youngsters, the ones who form the future of not just our house, but the whole club. Bob represents something important, and that, more than anything that can be quantified in words or numbers, is his greatest gift to the Dark Brotherhood as a whole. Bob symbolises community. He symbolises what all members should strive for. Not medals, not trinkets, but friendship. Family. Whatever we give him, I'm sure he'll feel he doesn't deserve it. Whatever we give him, I'm sure it'll never really be able to represent what his efforts have meant, do mean, and will continue to mean. Nonetheless, while a picture on a website will never be enough, if nothing else this is our opportunity to say: thank you. Congrats, Bob. You deserve it.

Bob, aka Kharon Daragon, aka Robert Daragon Sadow is exactly what makes this club shine and a good place to be. I'm not going to enumerate his many vendetta and War events here as my colleagues above have done so already. Rather, I'd like to point out the overall picture. Bob was the first person to welcome me into the DB back in early '05. Even back then I knew he was something special. Without him, I would not be here today leading Naga Sadow, or at any other point. Bob is a special guy (no pun intended.) even when not in an official leadership position he continues to lead. He's always there asking to help, fixing things, cooking up great fictional enhancement ideas, and making the new folks feel at home.Bob loves this place and his heart has been in it since the earliest days. If you consider the things he has contributed over his immensely long time here, the overall picture is staggering. Can I count the number of positions he has held in Naga Sadow? I can't. Multiple times of service across virtually every position.
And please consider this: every one of the people that has come though CNS/HNS has felt his influence in a positive manner and that has enriched this entire club over many years. A large part of our identity as a House came from his brain even before some of us whippersnappers got here. This club would not be the same without him.
Macron Goura Sadow, HNS QUA, Son of Sadow
Bobert...the hell hasn't he been over the last two years? After Ashia resigned from Consul, he quickly took up the mantle, pwning so incredibly that I felt his work even outside of the Clan. As a Docent he has served Aabsdu and myself loyally for over a year as an Eclectic Pedagogue and Docent, earning himself a Service degree for his works and dedication. Outside of this however is where his work really shines in my eyes. As Proconsul there were different men I looked towards for guidance and council. Bob was one of those men. There are forms and documents on "when a leader should step down", but Bob knew this way before hand and stepped down as Consul 6 months back before it got to himself and the Clan. Since then, he has served us as Quaestor of Marka Ragnos and later as Clan Rollmaster. What amazes me is his way of knowing what the Clan needs and moving into that position with such professionalism and integrity. His work with the Black Guard alone is something to marvel at, as he constantly emailed Manji and I with updated proposals, policies, and works. Among these are countless wiki articles, member administration, a new system that improvises a two month rotation on all summit members and their Black Guard...I could go on. When I took on the position of Headmaster, my heart never left Naga Sadow. Nor did I forget about those that were kindest to me when I was a stranger in the Clan. With his recent return from exile (REAL LIFE TROUBLZ), I knew that we had to get him rewarded. Though Manji and I are not on the summit anymore, I felt this was a priority that could no longer be set on the back burner. For his ability to see into a problem and be the solution, I'm humbly recommending that Robert Sadow be awarded the Amethyst Kuri as a token of Naga Sadow's appreciation. Congratulations. ~Taigikori Aybara Dupar; Headmaster of the Brotherhood

Another constant aid has been Korras Tarentae, who has been doing a lot of heavy lifting with the MAAs office as of late, helping process the day to day stuff and freeing up Kaek to work on his enhancements to the office. He's also been a key advisor and proofreader on my projects, from the Clan Force Powers to the forthcoming Armed Forces reset. Korras has been a friend to me in the past, and it is good to see him working toward the betterment of the club again, reminding me of how much of a dynamic force he can be. His assistance has been invaluable to my efforts, and It is for that reason that I am awarding him an Amethyst Kukri. Congratulations, old friend.
