Arch has been busy to start his term as HM, starting the process of broad updates across SA courses, particularly the Fundamentals courses, to reflect changes in the DB over the last couple of years. He has also continued to contribute to Exarch-related discussions and has engaged in DC-wide debate about XP and other large projects. He has organized 7 comps, participated in 46 (earning 31 crescents), and picked up 65 CFs, 8 CEs, 3 CIs, and 3 CGs. Congrats, Arch!

Arch brings exactly what I want in a staffer: meticulous attention to detail, a high level of scrutiny, in-depth knowledge and experience, and a not-so-lacking willingness to push back at me.
That is how one sums up the everything that is Arch and why I'm so remiss to know his time on my staff is coming to an end. To say that Arch is always up to something is to say that fire burns. It's obvious. That makes a recommendation hard to write because the pile keeps getting bigger. But, that's what I appreciates about him.
As a member of staff, Arch looks at the big picture. He addresses the member experience and our impact on it, all while keeping an eye on precedence and potential chain reactions. I think this measured hand is part of the reason why we continue to instill a "quiet" period from the Chamber's perspective. That is to say, the boat isn't rocking and Arch's clear view of the waters is a contributing factor.
Thanks, Arch!
Darth Renatus, 2023-01-12 18:39:21 UTC
When Arch joined the Dark Council I almost felt like he didn't join, because his inputs and work already had my ear. Yet it's been great to see him take on Headmaster and give his vision to that role and what it can and should be as a part of our community as well as helping guide the larger experience of members. His help on XP as it relates to the intake learning curve of new members and the value he's already provided is an indication of what is to come in the future. Congratulations.

Atty is a collector of sharp, stabby things in this club, and I am proud to be part of that illustrious tradition in supplying said stabbin' implements. As one of Arcona's longest standing old folks, it's often surprising to see her still kicking and rocking things like she does. Since her last recognition almost a year ago to the day, she's organized eleven competitions, co-organizing one, and participating in twenty seven. Those numbers look far more impressive when one looks at where those competitive efforts were spent: ninety two Clusters of Ice from over forty thousand words of fiction. This in addition to her seven Clusters of Graphite and six of Earth, assuredly some of which were earned in the sixteen GJW XV competitions she participated in as evidenced by her Seals of Ascension, which earned her one Gold and two Silver Novae.
For the last year (and beyond, but that goes past the covered period), Atyiru has been the Proconsul of Arcona, first for Rhylance as he closed out his tenure as Consul, and then for me when I took the seat. During that time, she has been the greatest asset a newcomer to higher Brotherhood leadership like me could have asked for. In Dark Summit matters, she is often the cautioning angel on my shoulder when I am present, and when I am not (which is frequent enough due to my real world job) she consistently speaks for me in line with my intent; a rare enough skill in just executing tasks, much less carrying on diplomacy. Among the nine documented roleplaying activities she's participated in, I am not sure there is one among them where she was not also running it in some capacity as DM or co-DM. This in addition to her active participation in each, as evidenced by her above word count. Further along the lines of generating content, she has worked with me to try and create a seamless transition into our current Clan fictional direction; a process that is still ongoing as we work through each of our own ideas and smash them together to try and make something as coherent as it is fun. This resulted in our major Clan event following GJW XV, where we introduced our latest (if minor) foe in the form of Chutil'ah the Hutt. This was followed up by taking the framework built for our inter-Clan event with Clan Odan-Urr and using her energy to brow-beat everyone into making the dream a reality.
Within our own Summit and with Arcona as a whole, she has been my hype-monger as much as she has with executing the day-to-day. She bolsters activity with constant reminders to the members, engaging them more often than I possibly could, and keeps attentions focused where they must. In so doing, she has helped me to foster an increasingly far-reaching planning horizon for Arcona and its Houses, begrudgingly working through calendars and touchpoints with our House and Battleteam Leaders.
In the last year, I've added much to this one's plate. So to Atty, thank you for being such a great influence on me, Arcona, and the Brotherhood. This place wouldn't be the same without you. Keep up the great work and I may even let you retire someday. Until then, once again, thank you.

As a member of the DJB Story Group, Atty played a key role in developing the plot of GJW XV and in editing every fiction released as part of the vendetta. She caught typos, suggested plot adjustments, and helped rework sections for readability, easily spending several hours discussing, reading, and editing over the course of the GJW, including its intro and aftermath. She was very active in Discord discussions and helped to keep the group focused (as opposed to just making Raptorstrike jokes, like some of us). She also helped brainstorm the fictional basis for the DJB's transition away from the "Dark" moniker.

One of the two best Questors a Consul could ask for. Adept Sonjie is one of those guys you just want in your corner. I mean the guy is one of the MANY vital members to Clan Naga Sadow. A former Consul himself and now he has been helming the Quaestor position in House Marka Ragnos for over a year now.
As a new Consul, having the Adept continue his leadership is truly a blessing for the Clan . Adept Sonjie’s knowledge of ships and fleet development has refined both the Houses and Clan fleets into a Navy worthy of giving pause to opposing forces.. His assistance and inputs are critical when it comes to regularly strengthening our fleet and troop assets. Furthermore, I can not leave out how much of a vast resource the Adept is when it comes to furthering the Clan’s fictional expansion. His depth of knowledge and his ability to reiterate planning details in a “matter-of-fact” helps refine both the Clan and House fictional development.
As a member of the Rotworms, the Adept helped lead his team to victory during the *Pro Bowl VI - Alliances event. Locke earned himself a first place finish during week one of the event. He participated in over twenty of the events competitions and added a total of one hundred and twenty six points to the Rotworms overall total.
As Quaestor, Adept Sonjie has put together a solid performance over the last few months. He has participated in forty seven comps and an additional fifty eight gaming activities. During this course of activity the Adept has earned himself eighteen Crescents, three hundred and thirty seven Clusters of Ice, four hundred and twenty three Clusters of Earth, two Clusters of Ice, six Clusters of Earth and fourteen Seals of Ascension.
Gaming is not only one of the Adepts dogged qualities. He is pretty staunch in the literal arts. The adept has authored nearly two thousand words towards HMR fictional development. Over the past few months the Adept has kept himself and House Marka Ragnos on the uptick of excitement. Not only participating in competitions, Adept Sonjie spearheaded the “It Came From Kar Alabrek” HMR Event. He organized eight competitions and co/org’d two competitions into a two part mini event protecting HMR assets. His ability to generate an intriguing tale together drew in thirty seven total entries and nine unique participants to the event.
For all his consistent leadership and dedication to develop the Clan further, Adept Locke Sonjie has proven himself to be both an exceptional member and a worthy leader for Clan Naga Sadow, and I hereby extend my recommendation for this award.

Locke has served as Quaestor of Marka Ragnos for a while now and has allowed me to serve alongside him as his Aedile.
He has continued to support activity throughout the Clan, by both participating in and organising events and competitions. He has led development in the Warhost military for the Clan for a while and has worked with members to develop our identity moving forward as both a House and a Clan.
He has been a major asset in gaming within the Clan, with Locke always being open to carrying me in Heroes of the Storm games with members and smashing me in Mario Kart 8 and embarrassing me.
DarkHawk has gone into more detail upon the work done by Locke, so anything further from me would be superfluous and a waste of Howie's time to read it.
Therefore, this last bit is just for Locke. Thank you for your time and support given to me and others despite dealing with all the shit you've gone going on in life atm. It's not easy having to juggle so many priorities, but you manage to do it and put up with me nagging you and being a right miserable git.
Thank you for your continued dedication to the Clan and club.

What can be said about Adept Sanguinius Entar that I am almost positive would not be a repeat characterization of this man. First off, it is always an honor to bestow upon ones Master with an any type of accolade. Since his last recognition the Adept has been steadily adding to his repertoire of accomplishments.
As Aedile of House Marka Ragnos, Sanguinius co/org’d the HMR mini event It Came from Kar Alabrek. He organized four competitions and co/org’d three competitions into a two part mini event protecting HMR assets. An overall successful House event which drew in thirty seven total entries and nine unique participants to the event. To bolster additional gaming activity, the Elder and his Quaestor lead impromptu gaming sessions each week for all members to partake. He is truly adept (pun intended) within the Heroes of the Storm arena and is well sought after as a partner.
His leadership was called on for a second year in a row as a Captain for the Club wide Pro Bowl VI - Alliances event. He helped lead the Frog-Dogs to an excitingly narrow showdown between the two teams. Strengthening relations between six participating Clans and their members. His contributions included a sixth place finish and two fifth place finishes for the event.
When the Adept is not busy with leading us to victories, he stays pretty active within the Club. Over the last few months he has participated in forty-four competitions and thirty-one gaming activities. He has racked up a total of thirteen Crescents, two hundred fifty three Clusters of Fire, three hundred twenty four Clusters of Earth, six Clusters of Graphite, seventeen Scrolls of Foundation and finally eleven seals of Ascension.
Sang is always a voice that draws the attention and the respect of those around him. The dude is more than friendly and willing with our members. He wants to see the best from and by his fellow members. His attitude by and large is just the sort of thing that every member could want from a leader. He is a consonant soundboard and valued resource in mentoring myself as a new Consul. It does not stop there, because of his experience and the respect he garners, his council and mentorship is equally intertwined amongst all of Clan Summit.
From the halls of the Shadow Academy, Adept Sanguinius Entar is currently one of the longest tenured Professors assigned to that institution. Not only is he the longest tenured he has the record of having the most courses graded. Recently adding an additional forty six more courses graded to his grand total. Yet another facet of his leadership and reach within the Club, Adept Sanguinius encompasses qualities of a leader at all levels within the Club.
With everything this man has done over the past few months I can wholeheartedly say that is more than deserving of this prestigious award. Adept Sanguinius Entar it is with great pleasure to see you recognized and cannot thank you enough for your mentorship!

I'm honored to be writing this recommendation for Sang. He has been a great asset as an Aedile and confidant in helping me run House Marka Ragnos.
As Aedile, Sang has helped me with virtually everything, from discussing future activities, to planning updates to the House infrastructure and lore. This is exemplified in the running of our recent event, It Came From Kar Alabrak!. In this event, Sang personally put together and ran four of the 11 competitions, and we worked together to run two other ones. He and I also spent several hours discussing the story and what types of competitions to include for all of the competitions of the event, to make it as appealing as we could for our members. Finally, Sang proofread my fiction, vetted the competitions I created, and assisted in judging.
As a result of his efforts, we had nine CNS members participate in this event (not counting the two of us), who produced a total of 39 competition entries, and as far as we can tell they enjoyed it.
Sang has also helped me promote gaming activity in the club; we have done a lot of gaming in Heroes of the Storm and Mario Kart on the weekends, and his efforts are reflected in the 31 gaming activities, 253 Clusters of Fire, and 324 of Earth that he has received since his last recognition.
I'm happy to be adding my recommendation for this award. Congrats, Sang!

Sang is my busiest grader by a wide margin. Since his last recognition, he's taken care of 62 exams with average turnaround of only 4 hours. For comparison, the next fastest graders I have average 7 hours. In terms of raw efficiency, the man is such a machine that he's only beaten by dbb0t. That he maintains that level of performance while overseeing the Academy's largest and busiest human-graded department is impressive, to say the least.

Thran (or the Thranalorian as he's annoyingly taken to calling himself sometimes) continues to be a fierce storm to be reckoned with on the Regent Staff, surpassing all expectations on the daily. He's spent the last two months working extremely diligently, taking those 32 proposed capital ship upgrades he started with during my last recommendation to 100+ separate upgrades, helping to fulfill my vision for this project. Just like Planetary Assets, which was a driving factor in my recommendation for his Elder promotion, Thran had to come up with several different aspects for this system. Not only did he completely develop, balance, and do most of the quality control on those 100+ items, he came up with a suitable slotting scheme for each different "size" of upgrade as well as the slot sizes for each category of capital ship, putting in an exemplary amount of theory into making sure it fits both realism and possessions. He took point on pricing for this project as well, creating the pricing scheme and working with Korvis and myself to find the incredibly difficult sweet spot on where we wanted them to be. In addition to all that, Thran wrote most of the Capital Ship Upgrades Primer doc submitted to Evant and Bubba that explains our reasoning and methodological approach to this project.
And as if that wasn't enough, he did primary item photos reviews on the CIS Item Review fellow staff member Teebu completed to cut content he knew I would not accept (he was right), and is a major contributor in our next booster release, completing over 10 additional item prototypes. It's not out of this world for me to say here and now that when I finally step down (not anytime soon, don't get any ideas Thran) he is the clear and obvious choice for my replacement. I can't think of any other member in recent times that has earned a Sapphire Blade just two months after earning a Ruby Scepter, but a Grand Cross just isn't enough for the sheer amount of work this guy puts in. I'm very lucky to have him as my Praetor.

You know there are folks that just stand out in your life that make an impression and inspire those around him to strive to be better. Adept Bentre Sadow is one of those folks, without question. His reach is felt all across the Club. From Consul to DB Wiki as Tribune, from Shadow Academy Professor to Magistrate to the FIST, Bentre has served with distinction, keeping up a high level of personal activity while leading by example.
A herculean activity standard is nothing new to the Adept. Bentre is constantly a man on a mission. He has participated in fifty six comps and a whopping one hundred and ten gaming competitions! Earning himself seven hundred and seventy two Clusters of Fire, in addition to amassing nine hundred and twenty two Clusters of Earth. Let us not forget the thirteen Scrolls of Foundation he has garnered, along with nine other Crescents to add to his trophy case.
As Praetor to the FIST, Bentre has organized twenty two comps for the Club to compete against one another in. He is always ready for a gaming challenge and is resolute about making himself available for gaming is unquestionable. Whether he is aware of it or not, his mere presence is constantly building Club Esprit de Corps. All the while he found time to captain team Rotworms helping to lead his team to a second consecutive victory in the Brotherhood Pro Bowl VI - Alliances event.
Regarding Wiki Tribune, his diligence in keeping the wiki up to date with CS and possessions related changes from the Voice and Regent offices has to be a daunting task. However Bentre excels at it, maintaining the navigation data updates and the continual storytelling revisions from around the Club. As Wiki Tribune he has done two hundred and thirty five edits to date. Bentre’s staunch support he provides to one of the Club’s vital tools is a combination of authentic dedication and countless hours of upkeep..
Let us not forget that he dabbles a little bit over in the Shadow Academy. As a SA professor the Adept has graded twenty exams, enriching our members careers. His extensive knowledge within the Department of Leadership, Law, and Communication is a vital resource in shaping our members and furthering their path.
For all his contributions to the Brotherhood, his stellar leadership and his desire to serve, it is with great honor to recommend Adept Bentre Sadow for this prestigious award. Congratulations Sir!

I'm honored to be writing this recommendation for Bentre. He's active AF.
After retiring from Consul you would've thought Bentre would take a break, spend some time sitting on the roster doing nothing, complain about young people, etc. But no.
Instead, this guy puts us all to shame. He became Praetor to the Fist and his activity never slowed down. (And he's still Wiki Tribune I guess?!) Since his last recognition in early August, he's organized 23 competitions, he's participated in 53, and he's earned a whole bunch of crescents and clusters. I mean, 800 CFs? That's probably more than me and Sang put together in the same period! 926 CEs? Unreal!
Since other recs cover his activity in detail, I just want to say I'm really happy to have a member like Bentre. He's very active in gaming, and he's helped keep Mario Kart alive as an actual DJB platform rather than just a curiosity of the last GJW. He's also been involved in games like Heroes of the Storm, The Old Republic, Squadrons, and Jedi Academy. The guy plays everything, and if I want to get a game going, I always know who to call. Bentre is super reliable.
I'd also like to spend some time covering his last 3 days as Consul.
Bentre handled the transition to Darkhawk really well, especially considering Bentre was Consul for a really long time before that. From my perspective, he passed on information to Darkhawk so the new dude could hit the ground running, he took his hands off where appropriate, and he's still around for questions and for me to send him dubious PMs like "How do I do this thing I should've known how to do years ago?!"
Please, never leave HMR, Bentre.
Congratulations!

Bentre Stahoes, like what hasn’t he done yet? He is the type of guy that everyone wants in a job, he’s hard working, doesn’t need prodded to do something and comes up with ways to make it better. Since having stepped down as a Consul, he has certainly kept himself busy with being wiki tribune and Praetor to the Fist. Outside of DJB, he is a pretty funny guy that has some entertaining stories and tries to make others smile. Zuza has been a solid member of Arcona for a surprisingly short amount of time, and in those two years has already left an indelible mark on many in the Clan. Going over the raw stats since her promotion in April, she has been nothing but a powerhouse. Sixty-one competitions participated, placing in twenty-eight, not even counting the fourteen Seals of Ascension from GJW XV that also netted her a Silver Nova. Add to that fifteen Clusters of Fire, nineteen Clusters of Earth, fifteen Clusters of Graphite, and thirteen Clusters of Ice from an approximate 5,100 words of fiction shows that she is as accomplished as she is well-rounded in the activity-in-numbers department.
Less easy to capture in numbers is her impact on the Clan as a whole. Zuza started her tenure as Rollmaster in January, taking over from Kordath’s lengthy and successful legacy, and she’s been running with it ever since. Much of Arcona’s current retention rates are a testament to her efforts of engaging with the new members directly and regularly in ways that I could not manage even in the best of circumstances. In a cooperative effort with the Summit, she is even currently laying the groundwork for an independent Battleteam within the Clan to continue both the legacy and duties of the Rollmaster, nurturing and growing new members into more long-term personalities in the Club.
In a more direct fashion, she has been a second sanity check among the Clan Summit. She comes with energy and ideas tempered with logic and practicality. Her labors are quiet but many. She is someone that I look forward to hiring into greater positions of responsibility when she finally passes the reins on Rollmaster — whether in its official title or as the BTL of the same intent.

Coming into the Headmaster position without experience with the current SA staff was daunting, but a few people immediately stood out as invaluable. Almost immediately, Zuza presented me with complete rewrite of the outdated Essentials 103 course to bring it in line with the modern, Path-less Brotherhood. This included writing over 3000 words of course notes, an eight-question exam, and finding images for a previously imageless course. Essentials 103: Order & Disciplines (formerly Paths & Orders) is one of the first pieces of content many new members will see, making it a critical part of the club's onboarding process.
Since then, Zuza has continued her work on updating our Fundamentals courses, which are both the most popular courses in the SA catalogue and the ones most important to getting new and returning members oriented in the Brotherhood. This includes a significant update to Essentials 102: Societies undertaken at her own initiative, which covered changes that have occurred to the SAS/ACS, the ACC, and qualification for the GMRG and SYN. She did this despite knowing that the entire Essentials series will be overhauled, reasoning that ensuring new members receive correct instruction was worth it even if it meant she would need to replace her own work in the near future. That is dedication to the SA's mission above and beyond what most staff show.
On my instructions, she also completed a review and update of the Comms series. This proved to be a bigger task than I expected. She caught several minor issues with Comms 102: Discord and Comms 103: DJBWiki (An Introduction) that I missed. More significantly, Zuza found large chunks of Comms 101: Website Navigation were inaccurate due to changes over the last year. Correcting this involved not only rewrites but the creation of a new gif to cover the way our gaming pages work in the wake of the Casual Gaming queue and deemphasis on PVP. Zuza has been my second brain on this project and it would not have made nearly the amount of progress that it has without her efforts. I have an uncomfortably long to-do list and the renovation of the Fundamentals department is on track to be the first major project I can cross off of it, thanks entirely to Zuza's tireless and enthusiastic support. I'm honored and delighted to recommend her for her first sacramental award, and certain that it won't be her last.

Tali is one of our longest sitting members in Arcona’s Summit, holding the Quaestor position of House Qel-Droma since 2019, and he’s never flagged in his capacity as a competing member of the Brotherhood. Since his recognition in January, he’s maintained regular activity through organizing seven competitions, co-organizing one, and competing in seventy-four. Of these he placed in thirteen, including two Silver Novae and two Bronze Novae from his twenty-nine participations in GJW XV, evidenced by the name number of Seals of Ascension! This comes with it three Clusters of Fire and twenty of Earth from gaming, as well as twenty-seven Clusters of Graphite from his many submissions to the DB art community. The truly staggering activity comes from his fiction work, producing one hundred three Clusters of Ice across over thirty eight thousand words of fiction. And in between all that, he still managed to take a trip over to the Shadow Academy and knock out three of its courses.
In leadership, Tali has likewise continued his powerhouse work. In addition to running a House-level event over the fall and keeping up the motivation during GJW XV, he found time to collaborate with another Arconan and completely revamp the Arconan Expeditionary Force (AEF) in a detailed proposal that included broad organization and detailed cost analysis. The current state of the AEF is the product of that refined proposal, and forms the foundation for our future Possessions plans.
What’s more, Tali is simply a good leader within Arcona and the Brotherhood. His patience and let’s-make-it-happen attitude have driven me as Consul to work harder and on things that I might have otherwise overlooked. So to Tali: I hope this serves as some small thanks for all of your hard work.

Aylin is one of the Clan's most frequent RPers, having participated and submitted 3696 words for 5 separate RPs, and has written 2933 words of fiction. She also co-hosted the Very Mandalorian Wedding series with me!

Ricmore is also one of my best Worldbuilders. Creating the proposals for the Frost Wolf Garrison on Zoldos as well as the Kast War Forge on Korus. https://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/items/83764-outpost His creativity and execution of ideas are astounding. The Clan literally doesn't have the money to implement all his ideas. Which in a way sucks but it if fantastic to have people like Ricmore that consistently come up with items that make our clan better.

Hector Von Ricmore has been a powerhouse within Clan Vizsla for quite some time. Only having worked with him for a short time, it didn't take long for me to witness his passion and drive firsthand. He has been serving as Quaestor since September 1, 2021, and has been an active presence on our chat programs and has been an active mentor in the gaming community. He works closely with his members and is always thinking of ways to engage with them.
A role model for his House, he leads from the front having participated in 66 competitions, 69 gaming activities that have earned 417 Clusters of Fire and 335 Clusters of Earth. He has participated in 10 fiction activities and 4 Roleplays (which he has helped his Clan run as somewhat of an advisor, being an experienced Roleplayer both inside and outside of the club) netting 27 Clusters of Ice for, just shy of 12,000 words. He has earned 1 Crescent with a Diamond Star, 4 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 8 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 2 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 2 Crescents with Emerald Stars, 1 Crescent with a Topaz Star, 26 Clusters of Graphite, and 11 seals of Ascension.
Hector has been an amazing member and a sound leader. I'm very proud to have him on our staff and would love very much to award him with his first Sacramental award, a Sapphire Blade. Keep up the great work and striving for excellence!
