The members of the Dark Council have volunteered for a challenging and demanding position that requires constant devotion and dedication to the Dark Brotherhood. The positions on the Council vary, but the demands on time do not. We demand that each individual member be responsive to email, communicate through mIRC, communicate through Telegram, and remain responsive to our club's members. This is a difficult task for all of our leaders, but even more so for the Dark Council.

Unfortunately, Dark Councilors are also historically under-rewarded for their efforts and their dedication to the club. Dark Adept Dacien Victae di Plagia has not received a sacramental award in over two years. This has occurred despite his loyal and unwavering support to our club and to the myriad of initiatives that I have asked him to undertake. As a part of DB 2.0, we asked all of the Dark Councilors to work in concern to ensure that our new systems were synchronized, nested, and fused in a manner that allowed for a seamless transition.

The Shadow Academy took on a large role in our initiatives and in the evolution of the club. Dacien took on the responsibility of supervising the development of the Test of Loyalty, Order's Core Revamp, Journeymen Hall Revamp, Path Revamp, and the development of new fictional material that will set the background for the Shadow Academy on our new Home Planet. Dacient accomplished these tasks while also conducting the day to day business of running the Shadow Academy. This day to day business included the oversight and constant updating of multiple courses, the development of over ten new courses, the tweaking of multiple degrees, and an update to the Shadow Academy Society. Dacien also worked hand in hand with the Voice in the development of the Fiction Society and its linked aspects to the Shadow Academy.

The Headmaster has also been tasked with multiple assignments and tasks outside of his traditional duties and responsibilities. These projects include oversight collaboration on new ranks, small team fictional updates, possession development, and a host of other items that he has provided insight and candor to. Dacien's willingness to support these initiatives are a direct representation of his character and why we are lucky to have him on the Dark Council.

Bubba, thanks for your dedication and continued support to our Club. Congrats.

Affable and yet occasionally frustrating, Marick - known better to most as Wally - has been a brilliant Consul in Arcona for going on two years, with another three years on the summit before that. He's been their cheerleader, their advocate, their teacher, their disciplinarian, their leader, and probably most importantly, their friend. Giving of himself almost to a fault, I have seen Marick online working into the wee hours when almost everyone else has faded off to slumber, to work, to other interests. He refuses to give in, refuses to stop, and no doubt that has caused some arguments between him and I, or between him and the Master at Arms. But it's easy to forgive him, because we can see in every action that he is doing it for the members. Never for himself, always for the members. Most recently, We've all seen him rallying the troops, bringing Arcona again to the podium for their work in the Great Jedi War. As he is right now probably trying to sort through exactly what can be awarded to his people, I feel the need to award him with an Emerald dagger for his efforts. Thank you, Wally. ~Muz Ashen, the Lion of Tarthos

I would like to make this plain for anyone who is mistaken. Montresor did not ask us to be Consul of Plagueis. We asked him. We did not do him a favor. He did us one. And he does not owe us for anything we did. We owe him.

It is said a leader is responsible for everything his men do or fail to do. Monty knows this well, but let me explain.

Back in September of 2013 House Plagueis underwent an unprecedented failure of its leadership. Due to their missteps, the entire Summit was removed and tried by the Chamber of Justice. All while in the middle of The Dark Crusade, the largest Vendetta in the club's history, which Plagueis was in contention to win.

This was about as bad as it gets.

Muz and I knew that in order for Plagueis to continue its progress as a unit we had to get someone to take charge, square them away, and get them back in the fight not only for The Dark Crusade, but more importantly, for their identity. Plagueis has a long history. I started there myself. Since its formation it was never really a top contender in competitions though it did possess an excellent core group of members, many of whom later went on to distinguish themselves on the Dark Council. All the pieces were there for greatness. Someone just had to put them together.

Enter Monty in late September 2013.

His drive, energy, and enthusiasm immediately woke Plagueis from the malaise that had set in following the recent unsavory events. It was directly due to Monty that many stayed in Plagueis to continue the fight and many more rejoined their old unit to see what they could accomplish...together. Because that is how Monty preached his message, his vision, the entire time, that ultimately made all things possible. Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork.

He should know.

His entire real-life career has been centered around this concept. Sometimes we strangely discount real-life experience in this club. Yet every strength we have, every decision we make, each idea we bring to life, derives directly from it. Like it or not. No clearer example of this could be made than in the case of Montresor. I will not go into details, but Monty has a real life resume that would absolutely be the envy of any of us. I am proud to know the man an honored to be his friend before we even get to the word, "club."

So it makes perfect sense that the success Monty has earned in real-life would carry over to our little fantasy world here on the internet. In order to help Plagueis, and Muz and I, Monty left a successful "career" in an already established and flourishing unit. But why leave it? Why risk being part of a favorite to win Vendettas, receive accolades, gain recognition? Simple answer:

We needed him. Plagueis needed him.

We saw what Monty accomplished in his home unit. We saw how quickly he rose. We saw how he had earned the respect of his peers. Monty was a quick study. Quick to adapt. Quick to act. And quick to succeed. Exactly what was needed to rescue Plagueis.

With Monty in place, Plagueis did not miss a beat when The Dark Crusade resumed. As he did in his previous unit, Monty led by example. Over the entirety of the Vendetta, from two different units, Monty had scored just shy of 100% participation. He asked no more of anyone than he gave of himself. Exactly as a leader should.

By December of 2013, Plagueis had won The Dark Crusade, the longest, largest, most complex event ever put on by the club. Barely three months after assuming responsibility for Plagueis, Monty had led them to their first-ever Vendetta win. Monty could have quit there. It would have been easy to shift into neutral and coast on his accomplishments. But there was one more prize that Plagueis wanted on its mantle: Clanhood.

By February of 2014, that goal too was realized and Plagueis was a Clan again. Spearheaded once again by Monty, now Clan Plagueis, achieved yet another goal that only months earlier seemed unlikely, if not impossible. What more could be accomplished so well and so quickly? Not a whole hell of a lot truth be told.

So Monty is moving on to other challenges. As is the standard for all leaders, he has left his unit better than he found it. Much, much, better. He has done all he could and more and now it is for someone else to take the reins and build on the foundation Monty has built with his own two hands. But before we let him go, a trinket. A tiny, inconsequential bauble for his efforts that in no way will mean anything to someone like Monty.

But what I imagine will mean something to a man like Monty are our words, the words of his many friends and peers on this recommendation; hopefully the words we say here together will give him some idea of just how much we appreciate him. There is no greater honor. The respect of one's friends and peers: more valuable than any award and far more enduring.

Thank you, Monty.

On behalf of a grateful Brotherhood and from an even more grateful Deputy Grand Master, please accept this Emerald Dagger as a simple token for all the great things you have done for Muz and I, for Plagueis, and for the Brotherhood.

-Raken, Deputy Grand Master

When Montresor stepped into the position of Quaestor of House Plagueis in September of 2013 he faced a plethora of challenges. The House had gone through a significant leadership change, with nearly its entire Summit removed. While House Plagueis had fought hard through the previous months of the Dark Crusade at this time they were on the edge of a precipice. In short order Monty reached out to former members of House Plagueis, some veterans from days past and others more recent members who chose to part ways due to the recent turmoil the House had faced. Monty's leadership and interpersonal skills allowed him to bring together under the Plagueis banner a formidable House, ready to face any challengers. And they did. The final round of the Dark Crusade was a winner takes all showdown. House Plagueis bore the full weight of Clan Arcona's charge, and as the dust settled the two behemoths found themselves at a draw. In the end the participation and motivation of House Plagueis' members in that final round carried them forward to victory.

Many would be content to relax following such an upset victory. Not Montresor and House Plagueis. Under Monty's guiding hand the House pushed forward, over the next three months the Plagues summit toiled away to produce a viable plan to reach their ultimate goal. The re-Clanning of Plagueis. On February 20th that goal was realized and the future of Plagueis took a significant shift. New goals would be realized, new challenges would be uncovered, and old friendships would remain.

Montresor's work at the helm of Plagueis has made a significant impact on the unit, one that I am sure will remain for years to come. Congratulations Monty!

-Valhavoc, Fist of the Brotherhood

No one in Plagueis saw him coming. We were shocked by the culling of our Summit, dismayed by our abrupt change in fortune after such a long, hard path to success. Victory in the Dark Crusade was in sight, but it suddenly seemed utterly distant. Monty changed that, reversed it, and by sheer force of personality rebuilt Team Plag into a fierce competitor. He took an impossible task one step at a time until he accomplished everything he had set out to do and more. He did not do it alone, but it could not have happened without him.

The reason for his success is easy to understand, really. He embodies all of the best traits of leadership: he understands people and their motivations; he sets clear goals and has a plan to achieve them; he is both patient and driven; and, most of all, he doesn't do it for personal glory but for his team. Leading an underdog to its first-ever vendetta victory and then to clanhood in rapid succession is a nice notch on his belt, but his focus was only ever on helping Plagueis realize its greatness. With this changing of the guard, Monty has left a revived Clan with a taste of victory, hungry for more and equipped to achieve it.

I have met a lot of great, talented people in my time with the Brotherhood. But until I worked with Monty, I had never met anyone who could move mountains with a slogan. Monty, you did great work, son.

-Dacien, Headmaster

Did you know that Montresor is not a fan of Star Wars? Did you know that he has never read a comic, guide, or novel in the Star Wars universe? Did you know that he can't tell the difference between Jango and Boba Fett? All of these things are true and all of these things are reasons why his performance in our club is so utterly impressive. Monty is a guy who joined our club to be a part of a gaming community, he liked what he say, liked the people he met, and offered to help out in small ways to make the community better. As days and weeks passed, Monty's involvement in our club grew and so did his impact on making the DJB a better place. He has participated in competitions, led at the House level, led at the Clan Level, and he has contributed to some of the largest projects the Dark Brotherhood has released over the past year. Fiction updates, he edits them; Voice projects, he edits them; Gaming rule changes, he provides input; and on and on.

For a guy who doesn't know Tatooine from Degobah, Monty is a stud. He has joined our club and made it a better place by being a normal human being interested in interacting and having fun with others. I'm glad he is around and I'm very happy to see him receive an Emerald Dagger.

-Grand Master Pravus, Voice

I think my fellow Councilors have summed it up better than I can, and it won't do to rehash the same points. I was on the Arcona summit with Monty for a good long while, and I was confident with leaving my legacy with Val and Monty because I knew they would do a fine job. Neither happened though, as Val was promoted to Fist shortly after I stepped down and Monty suddenly became Quaestor of Plagueis, something that I don't think anyone saw coming on the summit. Having been there through the Arcona CoJ and Plagueis CoJs of the last year+ I knew that Monty was doing something extraordinary, something extremely bold by leaving Arcona to head Plagueis. Leaving Arcona essentially meant that he was leaving his friends and his own legacy behind. He knew there might be backlash. Whether there would be didn't matter, because he had a mission. As Monty said to me once, "Someone had to do it."

He was right. It would be an extremely difficult and often very lonely venture; I didn't envy anyone that would step up for it, but someone had to do it. I think many had doubts just based upon the fact that Plagueis had been left in such dire shape. Knowing Monty, I'm fairly certain that he not only wanted to do it because it needed to be done, but because he was out to prove everyone wrong. In the end, he did, Plagueis came back to life and with Monty at the helm it not only showed its claws again and won the vendetta but somehow re-clanned. Someone had to run Plagueis. I'm fairly certain they didn't say, "Do it with style, win the vendetta, oh and reclan too, kthx," but would Monty do it any other way?

Extraordinary and bold. That's what you are, Battle Buddy. Thanks for all you've done, and I look forward to this year's ugly sweater. I know you'll find a way to top the last, somehow.

-Socks, Herald

One needs to be an extraordinary brave soul to leave the comfort and safety of an established clan, leave behind a promising career, and dive head-first into the unknown. Montresor did just that. He left the comfort of Arcona and took the job of leading a house that shortly before saw its entire leadership removed by the Chamber of Justice. Many thought these cases would ultimately lead to the end of Plagueis, but nothing was farther from the truth: Primarily due to Monty's efforts, Plagueis not only emerged as victor of the Dark Crusade, but was granted Clan status not long after.

My fellow councillors have done a splendid job enumerating why Monty is as awesome as he is, and I couldn't agree more. Many, many thanks for doing the work, son, and heartfelt congratulations on this much deserved Emerald Dagger.

-James, Seneschal

Eight months ago, Montresor applied for Quaestor of Plagueis. There had been a more or less catastrophic failure of the summit prior to that that had seen them all removed and sent to the Chamber of Justice. Such a thing is without precedence in the modern Brotherhood. The need to get a capable leader into that position as soon as possible, to stem the bleeding of talent and get people in the house back on task was paramount. It was going to be a lot of hard work, and there was no guarantee of real returns on it.

Montresor left the very stable and relative success of Arcona to try his hand at this challenge. Bringing with him decades of real world leadership experience as well as a deep-seated desire to see Plagueis through to the end of the campaign that they had fought so hard for already, he volunteered.

An outsider, coming in from an enemy unit, taking command of another house. I am certain that people figured that it was a ringer...someone sent to put on a good show and yet throw the match, let another unit win.

That was not it.

Plagueis was breaking, make no mistake. For all of their hard work, for all of their late nights and hard pushes, they still would have crumbled, had things continued on the path that was laid in. It would have been too easy to half-ass it, to slow the death just enough to make people think it was okay. But that's not what happened.

He came into the house, guns hot. He pulled people back from the brink. He pulled people away from the ledge even after they had jumped. He fought for something that wasn't yet his, and I think that generated all manner of goodwill for him. He didn't do it for himself. He did it to push Plagueis forward, to keep their momentum going, to complete the task that was at hand. He knitted back together the splintering house and reminded them what they were there for. He took the breaking point and made it into a rallying cry.

And Plagueis responded. They came back. They doubled down, fought harder, and answered Montresor's call. They broke Arcona's streak, they won the campaign, they earned clanhood.

Montresor would say that Plagueis earned it for herself. His humility would show, and he'd try to use it as a reason to promote and award more of the people who answered his call. Those elements within the Clan would snark about how he was stealing credit that was not rightly his. That he was swooping in at the last moment to claim the rewards from years of work. Those elements are wrong. When that critical moment came, they were the ones hiding; from themselves, from their brothers, from duty, from greatness. I hope that everyone sees what happened there, and recognizes it for what it is, clear of any ego, of any self-righteous hubris. It was Montresor who made them come back and see what was at stake. It was Monty who reminded them that the battle wasn't over. It was Monty who pushed them when they would not or could not push themselves. It was Monty who insisted that he did nothing special, that the credit belonged to everyone in the Clan. It was Monty who did this for you. Not for himself, but for you.

He is an example to us of what a Consul should be. Of what a Leader can accomplish. Of what happens when you refuse to accept what all assume.

Thank you, Montresor. I appreciate all that you have done, and I look forward to the day when you can spend some more of your formidable talents with us. From a grateful Grand Master and an encouraged Brotherhood, I am more than honored to present you with this Emerald Dagger. Thank you again.

-Muz Ashen, the Lion of Tarthos

Raken, 2014-05-23 15:10:09 UTC
Additional reasons

Serving as a Quaestor, even under the best of circumstances, is easily one of the hardest jobs in this Club. Not only do you want to maintain the level and quality of activity that usually led to that responsibility to begin with, you're now responsible for the health and well-being of an entire House.

When Montresor stepped into the role of Quaestor for House Plagueis, it was under anything but the best of circumstances. Despite that, Plagueis went on to win the Dark Crusade. Shortly afterwards House Plagueis was elevated to Clanhood.

Victory in the Dark Crusade, and the Clanhood elevation, could have easily become unattainable with a less capable leader at the helm of Plagueis. The fact that Plagueis came out of that dark time stronger and better than before, is a testament to Montresor's leadership and dedication.

Monty, please accept this Emerald Dagger with our thanks and gratitude.

The All New and Improved ACC is the result of nearly nine months worth of coding, coding which has been performed almost in it's entirety by Kalen alone. It should surprise nobody that this by itself is no small feat and worthy of recognition, but allow me to add that this has been achieved while also juggling the tasks of a full-time DC position and a quite busy real-life situation. Kalen has, since work on the ACC started, survived the ever-increasing and ever-changing requirements and wishlists for the ACC, and has managed to deliver a product that we can all be proud of and will certainly shape the experience for members of our site for years to come. I will leave the mentioning of his accomplishments as Master at Arms to my fellow Dark Councillors, and close by stating that this Emerald Dagger is very well deserved. - SCL DJM James Lucius Entar Arconae

The ACC is the culmination of over one year of dedication and effort. The process to design a new ACC started with an ideology of story driven dynamics that began with the new character sheets and continued throughout the ACC's development. Our MAA, Kalen Aquillarum, served as the primary coder and an integral part of the ACC team . He participated through our early design planning and crafted our ideas into a reality. This was no easy feat due to changing priorities, new ideas, and project creep that altered and changed the design of the ACC in more ways than we can count. Beyond coding, Kalen's own ideas shaped and crafted the ACC and resulted in the finished project launched today. Our new ladder system is his baby and its value will be shown in the coming weeks with a Vendetta level competition. I'm honored to recommend Kalen for the Emerald Dagger, a truly deserved award. - Grand Master Pravus

Kalen has spent the majority of the last year coding alone on a project that, finally today, the entire club can enjoy. He was always willing to work in my changes, often despite them not making a ton of sense at the time I requested them. On top of that, every feature he implemented was met with yet another request, and all he was more than willing to see through. Despite pulling double duty as the coder for this major project and MAA, Kalen was able to put together a great system that the club can enjoy for years to come! For that, and for putting up with my endless list of requests, he deserves this Emerald Dagger! ~Mav

Dark Jedi Master Aidan Kincaid, aka Shadow, should be credited with nearly every design concept and invention found within the new ACC. Shadow's ideas crafted a new ideology to focus on story driven character sheets and in turn a story driven ACC. This new ideology was designed in order to bring the ACC to a wider audience and support our club's transition from a gaming organization to a fiction oriented organization. The development of Fate based character sheets is owed to Shad, multiple aspects of our new grading mechanics designed to enhance story are owed to Shad, and nearly every current ACC venue is owed to Shad's editing/writing. Shad's work on the ACC has been spectacular, time consuming, and we are fortunate that he has provided us with his efforts. An Emerald Dagger is a well deserved award and one that fitting for a member who worked without expectation of any award at all. Thanks Shad. I appreciate everything you gave to this project. - Grand Master Pravus

Without Shadow, I wouldn't be involved in the ACC much at all... and I wouldn't have picked up the character system. Shadow's influences, though, extend far past these two systems, to virtually every fictional endeavor we have worked on. New NPCs? Shadow can do it. Wiki needs updating? Shadow already realized and has started doing it. In a way, Shadow's work on the fictional side of this club is almost everywhere, yet he absolutely refuses to take credit for almost anything, making it difficult for the average member to really see his contributions - beyond the stellar quality of his writing that routinely places in every competition.

Back to the ACC specifically, Shadow co-write the ACC Guide with Halc, wrote or adapted every single current venue in the database, created the initial site plan from which Kalen built the site, and has edited every single document we've had relating to the ACC, to judging, and to any other endeavor. On top of that, he served as a Judge through Open Beta, and was one of the most active participants in the ACC tournament, where he has now reached the Finals.

To put it simply, Shadow more than deserves this Emerald Dagger. He has been absolutely essential to not just this project, but just about every fictional project we've worked on over the last year. ~ Mav

The Dark Council is seen mostly as the ruling body of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. A lot of times we forget, however, that the work these people do everyday is not done for their personal gain or interest. No position is more selfless, however, than Herald. A Herald's sole purpose is to create. To bring ideas to life in a way that only certain people with certain gifts can. Creations for the benefit of others. And in truth, that was something the Brotherhood missed during the course of a year long competition, with our former Heralds time being absorbed by real life. Enter Orv, or Baxir as we now know him (curse you, Esoteric!). Orv had already served a long stint as a Dark Councilor. and we always enjoyed his art work, whether it was character commissions or an entire RoS comic. We took it for granted that he ALSO was our head coder, which is how many people remembered him before he had to step down. It was refreshing, then, to see not only a new style of art introduced into the Brotherhood (in the form of lightsabers and robes), but how he didn't even flinch with getting right back and involved in projects that will go on to change the look and feel of our club for years to come. The weekly comics he started doing where not a requirement, but something that brought joy to the entire brotherhood. He revitalized the entire Herald staff, set them up in a position where they could better address and meet the members needs, while diving headlong into the plethora of projects that needed to be done for the sake of the club.

The join form is where new members will get their first taste of Orv, as he created a Light Side and Dark Side character to help make the choice of selecting your path more organic. They will then see it in subtle ways as they move throughout the site in the small Clan Logo's on the side bar, or access the Wikipedia color scheme (which, finally looks like it matches our Site theme, no more ugly yellow links yay!). When they go through the selectors to pick their robes and sabers, they will also see a series of creations that came out of Herald Style Hanuka creations. They will also benefit from the Avatar submission guidelines he created, which shows that he wasn't just an artist, but someone who worked on a technical level to ensure everything worked. Always willing to compromise, I never saw Orv raise his "voice" or get flustered in a conversation about policy. His level headed approach to everything is inspiring to all, and it shows with how well received the changes he's made have held.

He even went so far as to join us in Hangouts on Google Plus; allowing members to watch his process as he drew while offering tips to artists interested in learning more about the craft. That apparently extended to, on New Years, drawing a representation of my likeliness in a sea-shell bikini. Complete with plenty of phallic additions, of course. Thanks...buddy. (But srysly, you might want to get that subconscious habbit checked out :P)

When I was just starting out in Arcona, Orv was an example I tried to strive for. That sentiment still stands to this day, exemplified by his passion, ability to work with anyone (regardless of their background), and easy smile. In my humble opinion, Orv embodies what you expect out of a Dark Councilor: passion, dedication, and a selfless desire to improve the club and help as many people as he can. And not just for leaders, but any member of this club can only hope to one day be as universally loved as Orv.

Thank you, Orv, for your long-term dedication, vision, and commitment to the brotherhood. Thank you for inspiring those around you to be better, and of course thank you for everything you have done for us since stepping in as Herald for the past 5 months. ~ Marick Arconae, Consul

If Orvles isn’t blushing by the time I’m done writing this recommendation, then I didn’t do my job. He was nothing short of inspiring as Herald. I worked for him as his Praetor for four months, and it was four months of hard work and fun. Orv worked hard on many projects at once amid the various tasks that had to be done day to day. I’m sure this isn’t even a full list, but he did things such as the twitter and facebook covers and join images, his own rotating banner image, the DJB Icon font/clan images and credit symbol, 404 and 500 error page images, Avatar policy wiki article, numerous sabers and robes for Herald Style Hanukkah, logo for HOU military force, several Herald reports, and of course the hilarious and thoughtful weekly webcomics that the membership loved.

It certainly doesn’t stop there. Much of it was behind the scenes, the things that I was privy to see, that made up a good bulk of the work. Orvles compressed the core site images, updated the HRLD lightsaber wiki to add the request table, made a lightsaber request wiki hilt image, cleaned up and organized the DB DeviantArt page, cleaned up and updated the Warbanner Photoshop file to make it even easier and faster for the staff to create them, added the SA logo to the icon font, designed and styled the news waterfall post layout, added meta description & keywords to site (extremely important for SEO), made CSS tweaks to the website, Wiki CSS tweaks, Test of Lore tweaks, new Join form, and even brought back the Wiki navbar. I could be wrong, but I think he brought back the forum navbar too, which had been broken for quite some time. There are some other projects that Orv was working on that are secret squirrel, probably some that I don’t know about myself, but I’m sure Muz can attest to the work he’s done on those fronts.

As a leader he was a lot of fun. I watched him create his images a few times and early on he would critique my own and offer suggestions, and then later do the same for the new Magistrates that came aboard. He let me run with my ideas and supported them. We usually agreed on everything, and those we didn’t he would always offer supportive evidence that pretty much turned my opinion around. Orv was really good at that. :P

Orv didn’t just make pretty pixels. He made the club better in a short amount of time, and it wasn’t for reward, he did it because he was passionate about the work and the club itself. I think the biggest evidence was in the webcomics that he just decided to do. Everyone can see that passion in his art, the cleverness, and the care to actually depict real characters from DB. That right there is Orvles in a nutshell. I absolutely enjoyed working with him as he was fun, and he inspired me greatly to improve myself and have fun in the Herald office as well. If I had an Ellie Badge I’d pin it on him, but I suppose this sacramental award will have to do. Thank you!

~Socks, Praetor to the Herald

Today, I have talked to Baxir. Recently, he's been finding that his real-life work has been taking him more and more time. Sadly, that means that he has had less time to do his work as Herald. I have asked him to stay on and continue his awesome webcomics for us as magistrate to the Herald.

Now, recently, he's been busy, but before that, he was most prolific. The activity tracker for the HRLD office has a lot of entries for the man, as it should...but they aren't as readily visible as just showing great big piles of lightsabers and robes. He's done graphical work, yes. He manhandled Herald Style Hannukhah, he's done up new navbars for the wiki, join characters for the new join form and the social media accounts and the aforementioned webcomics that help keep us all laughing. But he's done a lot more than that. He's pushed forward the concept of a Graphics society, to help grow our artists into something better, a resource for those of us learning and looking to do more. He's also worked diligently to codify and document the unwritten (or horribly out of date) policies that guide the Herald's office. It's been a lot of work, and it's worth our praise and thanks. To that end, I am very pleased to award Baxir an Emerald Dagger as a token of our thanks. Your time with us is always appreciated. ~Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith

Primary reason

Another consistently performing badass on the Council has been Solari. He's been the Rock of the DC, pun absolutely intended. His organizational skills help keep us all on track, and his ability to get work done in a quick timeframe is insane. He's been one of the big reasons that we were able to get the crusade results out so fast, and was the one in charge of tracking participation numbers throughout. Further, he's always been there to calm people down, temper their animosity before they do anything regrettable. He's also been a big driving force on the new member process, helping to streamline things so that hopefully, we get more and more people through it and into the clouses. It's been a lot of work so far, and Solari shows no signs of slowing down. To show our appreciation for all that he's done, I am happy to award him with an Emerald Dagger.
