From our first conversation during his application, I knew exactly the kind of Proconsul I would be getting in Juda. Hard-working, energetic, and a beast in activity. Three and half months later he has proven to be all of that and more.

Since his last recognition in April Juda has competed in 77 competitions and totaled more than 2000 words in RP events. He has played in 27 gaming activities that have totaled 334 Clusters of Fire and 10 Clusters of Earth. He has earned 1 Bronze nova 9 Crescents, 22 Clusters of Ice, 33 Clusters of Graphite, and 14 Seals of ascension.

Perhaps most impressive is Juda’s ability to draw in members from outside the club. He has recruited 2 separate members that have earned him Scrolls of Indoctrination. He is always seeking out opportunities to recruit even drawing in a member from Star Wars Galaxies probably the first from there in a long, long time.

Juda truly leads by example. He cares about the members of the club and works tirelessly to make not just Vizsla a better place but the entire Club. Congrats Juda and here is to many more!

You might think that losing a Quaestor who is the sole leader of one of your houses a mere six days before the start of the largest event your clan runs every year would be a recipe for disaster. In most cases, you would be right. But most cases don't include having TuQ'uan, former Proconsul, on your bench as a Battle Team Leader to serve as your "in case of emergency, break glass" Quaestor. But seeing TuQ as a mere emergency Quaestor would be to do him a disservice, as the work he has done both in the realm of activity and leadership has been exceptional since the conclusion of the Great Jedi War this summer.

As a member TuQ was the "lead from the front" sort, especially in the recent Pro Bowl. Of course he submitted to all 32 competitions available during the event. It's the Pro Bowl, it's what TuQ does. More than that, however, he scored 240 points with those entries and earned 4 first and second competition placements along with 5 other crescent earning placements, and finished 3rd overall (besting his fourth place finish last year) while earning more points than any other Plagueis member. The totality of his activity since his last recognition amounts to 74 competition entries that netted him 4 Diamond, 5 Ruby, 12 Amethyst, 9 Sapphire, 6 Emerald, 2 Topaz, and 2 Quartz crescents which equals placement crescents earned with a staggering 54% of his competition entries! He also submitted 6 fiction activities totaling 3,457 words to earn 8 Clusters of Ice. Outside of that, as far as Crescents he earned 4 Clusters of Earth, 24 Clusters of Fire, and 23 Clusters of Graphite for gaming and graphics. He even organized the DJB-Ball Fantasy Basketball League competition, even not knowing a ton about basketball. Anything to get activities out there!

But, as much as he has been a constant contributor in the realm of activity, it is his work in leadership that stands him apart. It was not hyperbole that TuQ was pegged to step in with the chaotic departure of his predecessor six days before the Pro Bowl began. He was tasked with reaching out and getting to know his new charges in House Tyranus, having been in House Ventress previously, while also building excitement for the upcoming event at the same time. Others might have been overwhelmed by the task on their plate, but not TuQ. Building on the excellent community building he had been doing with a limited number of members leading a battle team, TuQ jumped in and really built his members into a force to be reckoned with during the Pro Bowl through the sort of one on one member engagement that Plaguies has made its hallmark for years. He was messaging members directly several times per week to keep them energized, reported back participation numbers to his upper summit as the event progressed, and sent out 8 separate email blasts to the membership as a whole during the run of the Pro Bowl. His efforts connecting with his members really paid off given the levels of activity his unit was able to bring to the table. House Tyranus saw a staggering 10 of their 13 members submit to competitions over the course of the event, half of the participants in the event from Clan Plagueis. Those ten members were responsible for 128 total entries during the Pro Bowl, out entering some of the other participating Clans involved. Plagueis saw a truly amazing 70% of its members submit to at least one event during the Pro Bowl, a level of activity that would never have been possible without TuQ stepping in to what was just about the worst scenario that any Quaestor could be asked to shoulder: members he hadn't lead in an event that was mere days away. It is a staggering achievement by any measure, and he has the thanks of a grateful clan and summit.

Writing recommendations praising TuQ'uan and his work for Plagueis might seem like old hat (see what I did there?), but it is something that never goes out of fashion for me. Working with TuQ'uan in my prior tenure as Consul was a truly enjoyable experience, and I can say without a doubt that it is even better the second time around. Thank you, TuQ'uan, for everything that you do for the Ascendant Clan.

Reiden Karr is a beastmode Magistrate. Of all the staff members I’ve worked with over the years, I don’t think I’ve ever had anyone come close to his absolute dedication to getting his job done. I’m talking like within a minute of things hitting our queue, he has it handled. This has been a massive boon to my own workload, as Reiden already has razor-sharp analysis of any pending sheets queued up for discussion before I even have the site open to look for myself.

Since joining the staff Reiden has been responsible for approving 285 sheets manually (roughly 38% of all manual sheets approved in this time frame). He has been responsible for a further 76 remands, excellently prepared with clear instructions and a professional tone. To say this is an impressive amount of sheet management would be an understatement. Even when not directly taking the primary position on processing a sheet, he provides much-needed rational insight to all the other sheets we discuss as a team.

His aid isn’t limited to just the queues either. A vast majority of the time Reiden is actively answering fiction and sheet-related questions both within our #fiction-chat and the various clan chats. He is so responsive to these and so quick to pick up on them happening that I only catch them well after the fact an answer has already been given.

Project wise Reiden has a brilliant eye for errors and was a massive help in finalizing the feats project, and in catching inconsistencies and mistakes.

Congrats Reiden, and thank you so much for your continued efforts.

Rayne continues to be a shining star amongst Scholae Palatinae. No pants escape her sight, no sign left un-offical. Her recent placement in the ProBowl shows that she's a top contender amongst the wider DJB. Beyond her competitive activity she continues to work steadily on the Scholae Palatinae wiki updates coming out of our Dark Times Saga conclusion and, in some cases very long, overdue updates and simplifications.

In addition, she's found herself on the GMRG Top 10 quarterly finishers again (the DC must like her for some reason, I think it's cause it's an offical role).

Teebu continues to prove himself to be what I am going to call a "Taldryan Workhorse." No matter what, he's always working on something, and that speaks volumes of his character not just as a member of Taldryan, but of the Brotherhood as a whole. Whether that is doing the copious amount of wiki work he volunteers to do, that I then also add onto (more on that below), hosting RP's, or hosting competitions of his own for the Clan.

Speaking of that, Teebu has hosted a total of 37 competitions since his last award. Those competitions included co-hosting the Project Vos: Senate City Edition series of comps with me, and hosting the Formation of the Taldryan Republic Fleet where members got to name ships in the fleet after Teebu, and a couple others, worked hard on reforming the fleet.

I mentioned Teebu's wiki work, and this little Ewok is a whizz at creating articles. He's been on a crusade updating, creating, rewording, and reworking Taldryan wiki pages so that they can be ready for the next major Taldryan events. This has been a long project. He has created pages such as the Jafan Sloven Wiki Page, the 19th Saber Imperial Remnant wiki page, updating the Chyron, Kasiya, Orth, Ostara and so much more! In the last few months alone, Teebu has made more than 500 edits or creations summing up hundreds of hours of work to ensure Taldryans wiki pages are the best they can be.

In terms of participation numbers, Teebu has participated in 82 competitions, including 100%ing the Pro Bowl, coming second overall! He's written OVER 9000 words of fiction, nearly 14,000 words in RP posts, and has passed 3 SA courses. In terms of awards, he has earned the following;

Gold Nova x1 Bronze Nova x1 Crescent with Diamond Star x2 Crescent with Ruby Star x5 Crescent with Amethyst Star x4 Crescent with Sapphire Star x2 Crescent with Emerald Star x1 Crescent with Topaz Star x2 Seal of the Master for getting Valkyrie to Knighthood.

You'd think that when one becomes an Elder of the Brotherhood, one would decide to slow down, chill out, reduce the number of duties and activity that they do.

I'm happy to say that this is not the case with Zentru’la. He's the type that will not go in unless he gives it his 110%, which is admirable for a member of the club that has been around as long as he has. My case in point? He holds two positions as Praetor to the Voice, and a Shadow Academy Proffesor, though there will be more on his work in those positions from the Voice and former Headmistress respectively.

In terms of activity; Zentru’la has competed in 40 competitions since his last award, and has earned the following;

Crescent with Ruby Star x4 Crescent with Amethyst Star x2 Crescent with Sapphire Star x3 Crescent with Emerald Star x3

Last from me, he was a big component on Taldryan gaining its identity as a Republic. He was one of the vocal voices that pushed for the Clan having a theme of its own to identify within our little pocket of the Brotherhood.

Centam is, quite frankly, an activity machine. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say he is Taldryan's most active member, and I say that with admiration and pride.

Why do I say that? Because his activity numbers are simply insane. In just over 3 months since he was promoted, he's managed to compete in 102 competitions, some of which were from the most recent Pro Bowl. He's an avid fiction writer, having fought an ACC battle against me. He's written in total 5551 words of fiction and a further 1566 words in RP posts.

In terms of awards for those competitions, here's what he has won;

Crescent with Diamond Star x1 Crescent with Ruby Star x5 Crescent with Amethyst Star x11 Crescent with Sapphire Star x12 Crescent with Emerald Star x3 Crescent with Quartz Star x1

On top of this, Centam has completed 11 Shadow Academy courses and earned 6 degrees! He organised a competition, The Good Old Days.

It's mind-blowing how much activity Centam has pulled together in the time since his promotion. I'm proud to be able to recommend him for a Sapphire Blade for his spectacular efforts!

My man Kanal is one of the most active members in Clan Vizsla. From running competitions to participation he doesn’t miss a beat. He has been Questor of House wren going on 12 months in total, 8 months of which are since his last recognition, a Promotion back in January of this year. His leadership ability is without question, mentoring first Brimstone and now Chrome as his Aediles not just to do their respective jobs but to be able to take over his spot. I will get to the rest of his accomplishments as a leader here in a bit but first his general activity.

In the past 8 months, he has competed in 36 competitions and organized or co-organized 21. A regular member in gaming he has earned 67 clusters of earth. Kanal is over 7000 words of fiction and has taken to the clan RP sessions with vigor totaling another 1692 words of fiction in them. He was one of Clan Vizsla’s top performers in the last Great Jedi War completing 16 events.

Always active in clan discussions he also ran the last Great Hunt which was a huge success and lasted nearly 3 full months. This was a huge effort with fiction prompts and a very nice storyline. On top of that, he has been one of my main guys for the creation of storylines and ideas for developing the clan. His input and help in the creation of the Vizsla main base on Daemunn have led to Vizsla finally having a true home.

Most important though he contacts his members regularly via email and has seen some nice growth in House Wren that I attribute to his efforts at engaging his members and encouraging them to do all the things. He is constantly looking for ways to improve his members and really all of the vizsla members' experience in this club. He awards members as they earn things not because I say it needs to be done but because he genuinely cares and takes his job seriously. In short, Vizsla is a better place because of him and I can find no higher praise to give someone than they make the clan and house better because they are here.

The Sapphire Blade is awarded for general activity but also for long-term service to one's Clan. Kanal has done both admirably. This is Kanals first Sacramental award. The first of many I hope and I am honored to recommend him for it. Thank you, Kanal for all you have done and will continue to do.

Raiju Kang, though a recent arrival to the Ascendant Clan (or recent returnee?) has demonstrated that he is the sort of consistent, reliable producer of activity in the seven months since his last recognition. With competitions both entered and hosted, he has driven activity personally and for other members, and he has been a positive and engaged contributor to our little corner of the Brotherhood community since landing feet first in Plaguies.

Individual activity wise, Raiju has entered 92 competitions since his last recognition, placing in 31 of them. Those placements netted him 3 Diamond, 7 Ruby, 9 Amethyst, 7 Sapphire, 4 Emerald, and 1 Topaz crescent (stopping short of the elusive Quartz!). His nine gaming activities earned him a total of 23 Clusters of Earth as well as 20 Clusters of five. His 1,936 words of fiction contained within 2 fiction activities also brought him 5 Clusters of Ice. He was, apparently, tearing it up in the realm of Brotherhood graphics, however, with 49 Clusters of Graphite for his work in that arena. A nearly fifteen year veteran, Raiju also proved that it is never too late to go back to school while passing 26 Shadow Academy Courses and earning 5 different Dark Side Degrees (2 Pundits, and then one each of Maven, Savant, and Sage). Additionally, he also hosted a warm up event for his former home of Clan Odan-Urr in the lead up to the recently Completed Great Jedi War, with nine sub-vents that helped his clanmates better prepare for the struggles of a Brotherhood Vendetta by offering things such as events like Battleplan rarely seen outside of the Vendetta setting. His ten total hosted competitions show that he is one to offer opportunities for his fellow members, not just one content to sit back and consume so to speak.

It is my great honor to recognize Raiju for his work in the Brotherhood as the current Consul tasked with the job. I know Odan-Urr must have felt lucky to have his contributions through the first half of 2022 as well, as I am sure they will expand upon. Thank you, Raiju, for your continued devotion to all the parts of our Dark Jedi Brotherhood!

Our most active Aussie, Darcy (Denath) is a prime example that being on the opposite schedule as most of the Brotherhood is no real obstacle. He gets on Discord and chats with us most days despite the time difference. He has served as Aedile for 9 months now and has never skipped a beat. I will go over his participation numbers below and outline the work he has done for Vizsla.

Since his last recognition, Darcy has competed in 65 competitions (76 including containers). During the latest GJW, he was the highest scoring member of the Clan and earned a Silver Nova. Aside from that he has earned 7 Crescents, 14 Clusters of Ice, and 6 Clusters of Graphite. And just because we are all about the credits here in Vizsla he has earned the clan 219800 credits during that time. Last is the 6 Shadow Academy courses he passed.

Aside from his stellar activity in participation in Competitions, he completed a huge project for Clan Vizsla in the development, writing, and implementation of the Kandosii Casino It’s level of quality is outstanding even down to fine details. It was a large undertaking and he executed it flawlessly.

Last but not least is the work he does as Aedile of House Deathwatch. He works hand in hand with his Quaestor to ensure the needs of his membership and really the entire clan is met. From writing recommendations to award members, to proofreading, not just Deathwatch’s recommendations but for the other leaders as well. He is engaged with the membership ever encouraging them to reach new heights and do new things.
