Trevarus Caerick has always been an important member of the Dark Brotherhood. He is creative, wise and willing to contribute to any venture. Over the years, I have come to know Trev as one of my closest friends and advisors.
For the last couple months, I have witnessed a renewed sense of urgency in Trev to work towards finishing his many projects. He has been piled on with the DSC, Hush Hush, the DV, and lots of other fictional elements of the DB that I ask him to help with. Trev has been working for a long time to get these things done and we are beginning to see great progress from the office of the Oracle. The new DSC has finally had the first few sections released, and more are soon to come. He and I working well together, and I think he has had a change in outlook for the better.
I have thought long and hard about what to award Trev for his recent service. When I looked at his dossier I noticed the gaping hole where the Amethyst Kukri should have been. Today I fill that hole.
I award Trev this Amethyst Kukri for his recent endeavors with the Dark SIde Compendium and the renewed activity toward completing that. I do fully believe that this award does not truly represent what the whole of the new DSC will mean for the DB -- that higher award is for another day.
For now, I just want to say to Trev: thank you. I appreciate your work as of late and I hope that It continues.

Since I've been appointed Master at Arms, Kaek has been instrumental in the good working of this office, working quickly while being thoughtful of what he was doing.
His constant quest to improve not only our performance but also our interaction with the members. He has written many of the guidelines we are using today and has been instrumental in the creation and updating of other rojects me and CoFo were running. Definitely an irreplaceable asset for the Master at Arms Office and this is to show him my gratitude and appreciation for his work.

Dalthid does a ton as Combat Master, but on the side, he has also managed to bring out a different side of the DB -- the rockin' side!
For a long time, Dalthid has been writing, singing and recording songs that are about the Brotherhood, Star Wars and different aspects of our community. While some people still don't know about the songs, the ones that do rave about them. It has been recommended to me several times that Dalthid be awarded for writing them.
I was not sure what was an appropriate award for this, until I received Dalthid's Internal Report today. I then realized that no matter what I give him, and what I give it to him for, it would be deserved. Dalthid consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty. He is an excellent member, and excellent Combat Master and, as it would seem, an excellent song writer. We appreciate all that he does, and extend out gratitude with this award.

Early this year, Duga Arkarso has established himself as a consistent and dominant figure of participation within the Inter-Club Training Event. Since then, he has been in contact with countless other participants from the Brotherhoodnot only setting an example of good sportsmanship but also forming many acquaintances with ICTE
participants. Since March, he has become my most reliable administrator during my periodic absences throughout the events. He has also, without fail, taken my place during events which I was unable to attend and went ahead to administer the entire ICTE for that
day. In June, especially, Duga has gone above and beyond my expectations. He has become an equal in the administration of the event, helping me shift the focus from traditional 1v1 ICTE matches to a more dynamic and diverse activity profile, including TTFA and CTF team matches. He has played an integral part as an assistant in not
only assembling these matches but also participating in them. Without Duga, the redefinition and revitalization of the ICTE would not have been possible. In August alone, he has proven that he is more than capable of running the entire ICTE not only without error but with great success - by the number of matches played, advertisement, and compilation/release of results. Beyond all of this spectacular work, though, Duga has been a strong supporter and advisor on many of the day-to-day issues that arise during normal ICTEs. Should I become aware of a development pertaining to the event, I ensure that Duga also knows so that he can bring his own relevant and unique perspective to the situation. Duga Arkarso is an overall excellent assistant, a reliable equal, a fair administrator, and an aspirant replacement for my position. Duga is very deserving of this award.DA Acxodim "DV" Pyralis
This recommendation was originally for a Sapphire Blade, but I think that an Amethyst Kukri is the truly deserved award. From my point of view, Duga is one of the Dark Brotherhood's all-stars. He is able to do everything and do it well. Of note to me especially has been his work on the Center for Interclub Alliances. as M:DGM, Duga has been in charge of getting our alliance system up and running. Since he took over, he has helped in interclub talks and set up a great website for the CIR. http://cir.darkjedibrotherhood.com .
I am truly impressed by his work. He does a ton for the whole DB, and then on top of it, is still dominant in his clan. Duga is a first-class member.

I ask today to see one of CEK's finest rewarded for his hard work over the course of our history. I am referring to Dark Adept Jonaleth and the marvelous work he has done, not only since I became Consul, but before.
Since I took CON, Jonaleth has been there advising me. On top of that, he has written numerous things (such as the Path of Kun document, the CEK History, AND the CEK History for the DSC to name a few) that the Clan uses every day (Chief amongst this is the Path of Kun).
The award I recommend for him is one he has lusted (and worked) for since he heard of their inception. The Amethyst Kukri is given for: Exceptional services in the form of single projects or long-term leadership to a Clan or single Council office. Bearers of this award have shown dedication and focus on furthering one aspect of the Brotherhood far beyond the norm. Jonaleth more than fits the bill for this reward, both for his long-term work for CEK and for his other work (requested by myself).
In addition, my Proconsul, Braecen has also submitted a recommendation to me for Jonaleth, so I thought I would include that here:
Since joining the community of CEK one person has, in my eyes, gone beyond the call of duty to his members. In my case, Jonaleth Isradia protected me when certain members of the DB were out to have my head... he took me on as an Apprentice and groomed me into the Proconsul I am today.
While working by his side I have been witness to several breathtaking stories and documents scribed by the Krath Adept. He took the rough outline of the Path of Kun, hashing it with House Byss's old promotion guidelines... creating a detailed, descriptive document that has helped CEK have one of the highest promotion ratings in the DB. I have also worked by his side in the tidious task of developing Clan Powers. Everytime we think we have a theme and forge out the powers (only to be scrapped again!) he keeps a smile and simply asks, "what next?"
Most recently he completed our 'Clan History' project for the Oracle, it was a rendering of the Clan history from a first person perspective. After only a few alterations (it took him 3 days in all) he had a breathtaking document that spoke of what Clan Exar Kun was, is and will become! He is also monitoring a run-on for House Byss 'How the mighty have fallen' and isputting superb details into his story as he keeps it rolling...
Finally I would like to commend Jonaleth on his patience and excellent writing. I have been developing a large scale Clan competition and he has worked by my side as I developed this idea from a rough sketch to a masterful 20 page story! Jon coached me on my writing, then went through and nitpicked the flaws.. fixing many of them himself. Thank you for your work Jonaleth Isradia Kunar...
~Braecen Isradia
My thanks for your consideration in this matter.
Grand Master Chi Long
Consul, Clan Exar Kun
Congratulations on your AK from the GM and DGM, Jonaleth!

Shadow has been my Magistrate for some time now, and the newly posted Rites of Combat would not yet have been here, if it was not for his work on them. He came up with the first draft, after only being told that I wanted to make them, and has been updating them as the discussion about them went on.
Also, he is working with me on getting the Obelisk HQ ready, as well as the Obelisk Order Powers, and generally commenting on random things related to the OHC's office that I have running through my mind at any given time.
Furthermore, no-one can deny the work he has been putting into the entire Obelisk order, even before I hired him. As a result of all this, and with Jac's approval, I hereby award Shadow Taldrya an Amethyst Kukri.
Congrats, and may the Thrust be with you.

During his nearly 6 month tenure as my Left Hand of Justice, Kir Katarn has redefined to me what a person who holds the position should be. He has constantly taken his duties seriously, always attempting to aid me in every way possible, and more importantly, trying to aid the members of the Brotherhood. He has been tireless in attempting to resolve disputes between members and Clans, often having problems resolved before I have even had chance to learn of them. I am thankful that I was able to serve this time with Consul Katarn, and even more grateful that the members of the Brotherhood had the chance to have such a man as their representative to the Chamber of Justice.

I would like to recommend that Exarch Dagger of Arcona be recognized
for his contributions to the Epilogue of the 5th Great Jedi War.
As you may remember, Dagger was responsible for the creation of the JA
level which tortured many a dark jedi in the final hours of the War. I
remember spending no less than 6 hours on the level, being roasted,
sliced, or eaten by a countless number of devices, puzzles, traps,
enemies, and other ingeniously laid out devices of torture. An
exercise in patience, every new corner had a new twist that required a
knowledge of physical navigation, strength in guns combat, adept saber
wielding, and a focused, constantly engaged intellect. One wrong turn
or one bad plan of action, and you were dead. Dagger employed several
concepts not usually seen, or rarely seen in the original JA SP
campaign. I remember the first challenge as the player starts,
surrounded by randomly placed rocks in a sea of lava extending as far
as the eye could see. Somehow, the player had to disable a forcefield
- yet there was no obvious way to lower it. I remember jumping in
inconceivable locations trying to disable it, before finally finding
the means to move on. The next most memorable part was an area placed
immediately after a strategically placed concussion rifle soldier - a
cutscene begins, showing a bridge destroyed that the player must
somehow jump over without falling into the lava or landing on the
electrified rails below. I initially thought it was impossible to
cross the blown out bridge until i discovered a cunning way around it.
The creation of an NPC which had two rapid fire pistols and basic
force powers was something never before seen in the original SP
campaigns - what a formidable opponent. Two keys are needed to open a
door - another innovation. Dare I describe how the player must fall
through an unstable floor only to be presented with a rancor pit? What
of the chambers of a Sith Lord who hangs jedi from the ceilings? And
most of all, the puzzle near the end where the player must somehow
break the code to enter into the final area of the level to gain
access to the river of lava - and beyond the final opponent of the
level - one of the most powerful reborn in all of JA...and if that
wasn't enough, if the player saves and restores, he is severly
disabled - the lightsabre deactivated. This means, the player must go
through ALL of these trials without being victimized and killed by a
twisted element of gameplay that Dagger has conceived. All of these
combined made for one of the most memorable gaming experiences I have
yet had in the DB. It was a thrilling, compelling, and engaging
experience that I still look back on with wonder.
Dagger was never properly recognized for his efforts in the creation
of a level that literally took 50 hours of pure evil plotting. His
mastery of Radiant shines through long after the GJW ends. He is still
recognized as the only member who has enough experience with the
program to make anything as amazing as what came out in the Epilogue
of the Fifth Great Jedi War. His effort is inspirational to those who
ever wanted to learn Radiant and try to emulate that which he created.
I believe this level will be a fascinating trial for members of any
clan that have an appreciation for Jedi Academy. You really have not
played JA until you have played Dagger's GJW level...
It is only fitting that we recognize Dagger's contribution to the
Obelisk Order and the Jedi Academy gaming population at large within
the Brotherhood with an equally exceptional reward. The Amethyst Kukri
is such a reward, symbolizing Dagger's unwavering dedication - from
creation to completion - of the massive undertaking of a project like
the GJW Epilogue SP JA level - one that I will never forget. -- Dark

For his service to Clan Tarentum over several months as a member and leader and work rendered on an equal number of projects and services, including but not limited to: his efforts during the 5th Great Jedi War in which he helped to secure 2nd place not only through his own stellar participation, but also the encouragement of others; laying the foundation for the most successful Circle in Clan Tarentum; his mentorship to various members of the clan including his Apprentice, Merlance; his contributions to the Yridia System which wouldn't have been possible without him; the creation of an IRC Guide for the clan and the creation of a site for House Tridens, for his vision and his aspirations for the betterment of House Tridens. For these reasons and many more, I offer the gratitude of Clan Tarentum and myself by awarding DA Pyralis this most deserved Amethyst Kukri.

The description for the Amethyst Kukri talks about what it's awarded for, mentioning specifically single, worthwhile projects for the Staff of a Dark Council member. I can't think of anyone else at this time who embodies this, in my sight, as much as Rekio. Rekio has been working extensively on adapting a site to beta test the missions from back during Goat's Sith War, that were submitted as an event in that War. These missions have sat, and been nothing more than space in an email. His efforts have put together an impressive site (found at http://www.tarentum.org/compendium/ ) to allow members a chance to earn rewards for, and helping us test out these missions, and make them ready to release to the public.<br>
<br>
I'd also like to note that, Rekio has served as Praetor to three SHW's now, and has received little public praise to my knowledge. He's genuinely concerned with the function and growth of the Order, and spends what spare time he finds gathering potential information for usage in the revamped Shadow Academy courses, and brings me ideas daily, of what we might do to improve things. When I served as Consul of Tarentum, I could not have imagiend a better right hand man; I still can't see anyone else who would be more appropriate for my second.<br>
<br>
Rekio, I appreciate all that you do, and this is just a tangible mention of my thanks. Congratulations.<br>
