Prelate Chaosrain Taldrya: Serving as Proconsul of the First Clan is a difficult and demanding task. Fortunately for Clan Taldryan and the Dark Brotherhood as a whole, Chaosrain Taldrya is more than up to the task. Leading by example, Chaos fought valiantly during the GJW. His dedication and effort ensured a 7th consecutive victory for Clan Taldryan and ensured another year of First Clan Status. For his service and leadership to Clan Taldryan and the Dark Brotherhood, I, Grand Master Sarin, award the Sapphire Blade to Prelate Chaosrain Taldrya.

******

Chaos has been in Taldryan since I joined over a year ago, and has always been an active and involved member of his House and Clan. The longest serving Ektrosis Quaestor, Chaos has shown his worth over the years during his tenure. He stepped up to PCON recently, and has been doing a great job leading the Clan throughout the Seventh Great Jedi War. His dedication to Taldryan has not gone unnoticed, and Chaos' work ethic and willingness to better Taldryan are always a consistent sight in the Summit. Whether he's working on planet histories, writing an extremely rare report ( :P ), or reprimanding me for something I should know by now, Chaos is always there to help and better those around him.

As I said before, Chaos has been a leader in Taldryan since I joined, and I wouldn't trade him for anyone else. Chaos has been *my leader for the majority of my time in the Brotherhood, and has always been someone I've respected and learned from immensely. He coached me as a Battleteam Leader in my pre-DJK days, as an AED when I wasn't even in the same House, and as a QUA over Ektrosis. I've had a lot to live up to in Ektrosis, and Chaos has left a lasting impression on Ektrosis through his solid leadership skills and motivation to always be doing something constructive (at least most of the time :P ). Because of his consistent and superior level of leadership in Clan Taldryan, I'm more than happy to be a former student awarding his teacher a Sapphire Blade.

Congratulations Chaos, you've earned this one.
+OT Sklib+

Chaosrain, er, Chaos has been one outstanding leader in Taldryan since before I took Consul at the beginning of last year. His service to the Clan and House Ektrosis has been marvelous and countless. As Proconsul, Chaos has helped me with many website updates, emails to the Clan, given me input on the Clan Prospectus, and contributed to the leadership of the Clan during the long Seventh Great Jedi War. Within the War he actually managed to participate in many events from the Wargame, Fiction, Graphics, Poetry, the Run-on, taking placement points for playing RC, and JO/JA/JK ladder. Amazing work all around and well worth this award, Chaos, thanks for everything.

For Taldryan,
Obelisk Primarch Duga Taldrya Arkarso Consul and Son of Clan Taldryan Planetary Viceroy of Karufr, Regent of the Kr'Tal System

• Epis Xia Long: The Dark Brotherhood database and knowledge center is a pivotal part of our operations. This source of knowledge has been updated and improved upon over the past year by the exceptional skill of Krath Epis Xia Long. Xia has streamlined several areas of our database and has made knowledge more accessible and readily available to our members.

When confronted with the pending invasion of the Yuuzhan Vong, Epis Long secured the Dark Brotherhood knowledge base and conducted an immediate transfer to the Grand Master’s Flagship. Her quick thinking and skill saved the Dark Brotherhood from entering a period of information black out and allowed our forces to rally out of the Antei system. For her wisdom and knowledge, I, Grand Master Sarin, award KrathEpis Xia Long the Sapphire Blade.
Dark Jedi Master Alanna Taldrya: Prowess on the Battlefield is often found in the brute strength of warriors; however, a more cunning and disciplined prowess exists in those who have transcended within the Dark Side. One such warrior who has displayed this talent is Dark Jedi Master Alanna Taldrya. Using her skills on the field of battle Alanna placed herself in the highest of esteem. Her efforts on behalf of the Clan Taldryan secured victory for the First Clan yet again. For her skill on the field of battle, I, Grand Master Sarin, award Dark Jedi Master Alanna Taldrya the Sapphire Blade.
What can I say about Alanna that everyone doesn’t already know? She has done great in the GJW with immaculate participation and huge amounts of help for the members of Ektrosis and the rest of Taldryan. He work with the newer members helped a ton in the event. She did twelve run on posts earning the clan a bunch of points and helping contribute to the story. She had five ACC battles which helped the clan come out on top in the ladder. She came in 13th in the “Other” ladder by doing all but two graphics and taking home a bronze nova for one of her poetry entries. She came in 2nd over all in the fiction ladder by doing every fiction, earning a ton of bonus points, and she even won a bronze nova for a fiction submission gaining a massive amount of points for us in just entry. Alanna He stellar participation and excellent help with our newer members gave Taldryan a huge boost in this war. Alanna Taldrya, I am proud to be a part of this Sapphire Blade. You truly deserve this and I’m sure you will enjoy it even though it isn’t a cookie.

• Dark Prophet Telaris "Mav" Taldrya Cantor: A Dark Prophet is a dangerous and deadly foe. Feared for their power and seconded only to the Grand Masters, the Dark Prophets are the epitome of the Dark Side of the Force. Amongst these Dark Prophets, one stands alone. This Dark Prophet, Telaris "Mav" Taldrya Cantor has once again demonstrated why he is feared and respected across the Dark Brotherhood. Returning from his intense studies of the Dark Side, Mav dominated the GJW with skill and élan. His prowess on the field of battle and skill as a master of Dun Moch intimated his opponents into submission.

It is impossible to derive if Clan Taldryan would have found victory in the GJW if it were not for the efforts of Mav, but one thing is certain. His knowledge and skill were welcome additions to both Clan Taldryan and the Grand Master. Serving as an advisor and combatant, Mav displayed his unique value to the Dark Brotherhood. For his skill and wisdom, I, Grand Master Sarin, award Dark Prophet Telaris “Mav” Taldrya Cantor the Sapphire Blade.
Mav did a terrific job in this Great Jedi War. His did all but one graphics and poetry submission netting him a placing of 7th in the other ladder. He also placed with many of his fiction entries gaining a 10th place finish in the fiction ladder. Mav truly came up big in the JO/JA ladder where he got 7th place with over 200 matches played. He also did twelve Run on posts helping net a lot of participation points and giving out run on some clarity. For all of Mav’s hard work, and all the WoWing he missed, he has earned a Sapphire Blade! • Dark Side Adept Sharad Taldrya Hett: Dark Side Adept Sharad Taldrya Hett has proven himself to be one of the most formidable warriors in the Dark Brotherhood. His prowless on the battlefield, in particular the realm of one on one contact was at the very least phenomenal. Displaying skill and vengeance he toyed with and then dispatched over seventeen individual warriors. Sharad’s efforts in the Great Jedi War led to Clan Taldryan finishing as First Clan yet again. For his skill and dedication, I, Grand Master Sarin, award Dark Side Adept Sharad Taldrya Hett the Sapphire Blade.
Sharad has done a great job during this GJW. He took third in the ACC ladder, 9th in the Jedi Knight series ladder, he is also up pretty high in the fiction ladder with double digit fiction entries, he posted three times in the Run on, and he has helped the clan in the other ladder by doing poetry and graphics. Sharad is one of our great members that always comes out to help when we need it. He is always wiling to help and was pushing us all to work harder and finding gaming matches for some members. For all of your work during this GJW Sharad you truly deserve this Sapphire Blade.

Primary reason

Since his last major point of recognition (promotion), Windos has given a great deal of dedication to mentoring and assisting the newest members of Gladius.

During the last (nearly) seven months, Windos has served as the leader of The Praxeum of Gladius. The objectives of this team were to initiate and train new members, to help them to learn how to be active and successful in the Brotherhood, and provide them a place to meet new friends. Windos provided this and more. He provided a mentor and friend; he provided an active example, competing in events as well as encouraging others to do so; he has helped incite motivation into younger members, and has even passed on the torch (so to speak) for this effort to Kazarelth, who has succeeded him as leader of The Praxeum.

Windos continues his dedication to assisting and enhancing Gladius by serving as Mune's Aedile. Windos and Mune have had their bumps in the past, inspired by two stubborn, motivated men who want nothing more than to see others given, and able to earn, what they have been able to earn and be a part of, as well.

Windos is excellent at keeping in communication with his members, so they will have access not only to his experience, but also to his words of motivation. He has maintained his reports from his time as leader of The Praxeum nicely, and continues this practice now as Aedile, as well. His example has even been passed onto Kazarelth in this respect, too, who is working on keeping his reports timely and informative, as well.

In the past seven or more months, Windos has also provided approximately 38 competitions for both the members of The Praxeum, as well as Gladius as a whole. Not only does he compete, he offers activities for members to have fun with, and learn things from, as well.

I have toyed with the idea of having Windos promoted for his actions; in my opinion, he has more than earned his promotion. But at the same time, I must say that, in some cases, promotions do not adequately recognize certain actions as well as other rewards. Windos is an active member and leader, but his actions speak loudly that his is a mentor, and one willing to help everyone in Tarentum, Gladius specifically, learn what they need to advance, and to have fun within this Club.

Windos, I appreciate your drive and dedication, and look forward to your continued efforts in Gladius as Aedile. Congratulations, my friend.

-DJM Sith Bloodfyre-Tarentae
Consul, Clan Tarentum

Dark Side Adept Telona Murrage has just completed one of the longest and most successful streaks as Editor and Tribune of the Dark Voice. Over the past year, Telona has shown elan and supreme dedication in crafting six issues of the Dark Brotherhood periodical. Her efforts paid off for the Dark Brotherhood as we had in her an editor who met deadline after deadline and delivered the Dark Voice on time. She is one of the few, if not the only, DV editor ever to accomplish this task. What makes her work even more impressive is the fact that she had to work with a rotating list of Consuls, Dark Council Members, and Grand Masters, yet she was able to finish her job on time every time.

I am proud to award Telona her second Sapphire Blade, an accomplishment only six others in the History of the Dark Brotherhood have reached.

Congratulations Telona and thank you for your year of hard work and dedication.

GM Sarin

Telona

Medal Request: Sapphire Blade Phoenix Olkyssagh Palpatine (3612)

Pho is my ho.

For being my best ho, he deserves a Sapphire Blade...

ahem

When Phoenix (warmly referred to as "Pho" or "Phobird") came back and got active with the Brotherhood again, none of us were really sure how long it would last. When Phoenix applied for Proconsul, the Summits were tentative, but now that I look back, we didn't have much reason to be hesitant about it.

Pho has been an inspiration to many new members of the Clan and has been able to come up with several ideas to encourage members to be active: Scholar of the Week, a "Members Spotlight" in his reports, and the recent CSP vs. Arcona Clan Feud. He has supervised the development of the Clan JA Training Days and has provided advice, covering a huge range of topics, to me.

Gotta <3 t3h Pho.

RevengeX Palpatine Quaestor of House Acclivis Draco

---------------------------------

Phoenix is my Proconsul, a position that he holds with authority, a sense of humour and with great understanding. He is always there if you require a helping hand with something, advice on a project, input on a document, a new twist to a story or even just to have a chat to. He is able to juggle the diversity of members that he is responsible for and the workload the position places on him with dignity and mostly with a smile on his face.

He worked with Koskian to create the CSP/Arc feud, bringing the members of the two clans together with a very well-developed plot and competition base. He is responsible for countless ‘behind-the-scenes’ activities that keep Scholae going, and if he’s not working on something himself, he is helping someone else out, making their work lighter.

When I joined Scholae Palatinae, Phoenix was one of the first members who befriended me, not from his position as Proconsul, but as a member of CSP that wanted to make me feel at home. He helped me understand how things are done, what is different, what is the same, explained various CSP-specific concepts to me, introduced me to some of the older members…this is not something that can be overlooked. It is great to know that you have someone who you can go to answer questions if you are new in any Clan. He supported me unwaveringly through the initial “Oh wow, everything is so different” phase, until I was comfortable in my new home – never getting tired of all the questions, all the comments or “Pho…who/what is that?” moments.

I accepted the position of KCE and again Phoenix helped me out with the Chain of Command, setting me up with members who might be interested in the MSP, giving me his side of who would be good as Masters and who needs more experience – valuable information for anybody who is about to entrust the future of a new member to a more experience one.

It all comes together and Phoenix is one of the cornerstones on which Scholae is built. You cannot take out one or two things and say “This is what he did” and only reward him for that – because it is not that simple. Everything he does blends together into a whole, working with the Consul and house summits to create a Clan that is loved by all its members, that we are proud of. For his dedication to CSP, his love for his home, his constant work to turn the Clan into something better, this is very well deserved. Congratulations Pho.

Selene d’Tana Knight Class Envoy of Scholae Palatinae

---------------------------------

Who better than I to explain why Phoenix is most deserving of his first sacrificial blade? The answer is no one, because while many people see a facet of what the Proconsul does... it is his Consul that knows his true worth. And I would be glad to keep trading Sapphire Blades for Phoenix's continuous assistance at my side.

Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I recognize Phoenix's effort. Compiling 71 individual points in the MP Gaming, Fiction & Battle Plan Events and taking the rank of 63rd Overall in the Vendetta. Additionally, it was Phoenix's continuous harassment of the BP Team that helped us stay on pace and reach our final position (3rd Overall).

Additionally, the day-to-day operations of Scholae Palatinae are tremendous. In essence, I alone could keep two Proconsuls busy with trivial tasks that improve the Clan's atmosphere and comradery, but Phoebird seemingly picks up the slack all on his own. Amongst his duties is maintenance of the Clan Mailer, supervision of updates to the House Mailers, reminder e-mails for Gaming Nights/ICTE/SIT, policing #scholae, policing the Clan Mailer, moderating Conclave (Clan IRC Meetings), bridging the generation gap between new and old members, updating the Clan Activity Tracker for monthly preparation, reporting regularly to archive the activity of our members, enforcing the Chain of Command, working with the Palpatines to provide staunch role models and maintain the traditions and spirit the Clan was originally formed in and assist those below him with tasks as to remove the burden from his Consul's ever full inbox.

I would also be remiss not to point out Phoenix's contributions in a House vs. House Feud (an event he helped me moderate, judge and bring into fruition), a Clan Feud (He initiated discussion, helped write the plot, assisted in competition development, worked with members throughout the event and kept up on questions/issues/concerns as they arose from two Clans) and a Major Vendetta (Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness).

It is through all of these efforts - guidance, leadership, administration - that have helped Scholae Palatinae reach the plateau it rests upon this day. His continued excellence and strive for better things in the name of our Clan resonates through the entire group - making him a valued member, great leader and deserving of this award.

Braecen Kaeth Kunar Consul of Scholae Palatinae
